I just find it a tad hypocritical that just a few days ago someone posted looking for people to play with, who listed his own "requirements" for potential teammates and they promptly got flamed for it.  But here is yet another posting, with pretty much the same type of "you must pass our evaluation to even be considered a member to play a video game with us" and it's like, "oh, it's a BSN celebrity group, so that's ok to act the same way that the guy who got roasted did but don't call us on it."

If it looks like a duck and sounds like a duck, I'm sure you know the rest... 

Actually it seems a little like that. On the other hand, no one likes a blind bargain. I mean it's not like you have to be part of this specific group to find good players.
And I must say every member I played with or talked to yet has been nicer than one might assume from reading posts.

I'm tempted to submit myself for this, I just haven't been playing ME3 much lately. I know I can't outscore Mobius or Saints, but at least I can get kinda close if Saints is playing like, a Geth Juggernaut with nothing in weapon damage. ;_;

So much for the "Everyone is the group is extremely nice and great guys."  I just find it elitist when someone says they'll play with anyone, but then in the same post say that only by passing our evaluation will we find you worthy of an invitation to our gated gaming community.  Especially since someone made a post just 5 days ago, basically saying the same thing and that person was flamed hard because he had a list of what qualifications he wanted in potential teammates.  But I guess double standards are the standards for certain BSN posters.

As of now, S.p.E.c.T.R.E and S.p.E.c.T.R.E. X have merged and become one, also bringing in PS3 players.
S.P.E.C.T.R.E.
now represents the best players across all platforms [PC/Xbox/Ps3]

Tired of seeing players with level 1 gear in your lobbies? Frustrated
with always being the one to carry the team? Annoyed by teammates who
contribute only to the amount of enemies you're facing?

If so,
then feel free to apply to join up with fellow players who play this
game for the challenge, rather than simply looking for a handout. And to
make sure no "inferior" (read: boosters) join the game, players will be
evaluated over the course of five games (this is to make sure a good
player does not get passed over due to bad luck).

You will be evaluated over these criterias:

1.
Contribution: Aiding in objective waves (whether actually participating
or drawing enemies from it), reviving your teammates, responsible use
of consummables, etc. A player will not be judged on how many points
he/she gets.

2. Communication: A player who warns teammates of
impending doom is a valuable member. Players who mic spam (play annoying
music, talk about unimportant things unless approved, BREATHING into
your mic) will not be accepted.

3. Griefing: Players who shoot
Possessed Abominations and incapacitate their teammates. One accident
will be tolerated. After that, it's on your head. Players who activate
the reactor while teammates or objectives are inside will not be
accepted.

4. Survivability: A teammate who infrequently goes down
is a valued member of any team. Note that getting sinc-killed will not
count against you unless obvious stupididty (ex: Krogans using melee on
Banshees) was observed.

5. Behaviour: As long as you maintain a
team-based attitude (No critisim when you get downed ex: Why didn't you
kill him?!? Wah wah wah) will be accepted. If you are a "rager",
provided your ire is directed at the enemy, you will still be accepted.

Should
anyone be interested in finding capable teammates who'll watch your
back rather than lie on theirs, please feel free to answer via this post
or message.

Taken from this thread with which you are comparing Biggs' proposal.  Please, feel free to read more of the story.  Particularly the first, oh, six or eight pages.  You seem to have plenty of time, seeing as how you're repeatedly posting in a thread regarding a group you have zero vested interest in.

I don't even know how you can remotely compare the two.  The thread that got bashed all to hell a few days ago was a post from someone who is, at best, a decent PUG team player who doesn't have a huge crapload of time invested in the game.  He clearly stated the credentials required to play with him and with "the team" which were, to be totally honest, strict and stupid.

Now this might just be me but it sure seems like that criteria is much more generalized, not nearly as strict, and can actually let people do something called "have fun" (see Number 3, Griefing in the previous box, yes it's fun to do and yes it's funny as hell).  Not to mention there's little to no hint of a "holier than thou" attitude.

The group's interested in finding some of the best players across all platforms in order to get people to play together, as well as organize events and challenges amongst ourselves.  If that's not you, or you're not interested, why the heck do you even care?

Especially ones who have a few hundred hours more game time than someone like me, yet still struggle on silver and have to resort to sitting in a box for 40 minutes to even get past platinum.
