That's what I'm doing, different characters doing different things. I may be mad, but I'm aiming on 18 playthroughs (different characters) just to see what all these myriad decisions make in ME2. Although, personally, I kind of like 2/3 of the council, the only one I'd happily sacrifice is the Turian councilor, but that's just because he a massive ****. I quite like the fact that from the council expressions, he's almost bullied into agreeing with the council.
