Getting the toolset to work is my very worst skill in the whole world, but.... have you checked to see that those folders and files exist? Just because they are supposed to exist doesn't mean that they do exist.

I doubled check the game is listed in my program files (x86) folder, the toolset is allowing me to post to local my morphs without a problem, however when I tried to follow what the wiki said, I am now receiving these error messages after running the configuration program

Location of game build either not specified or the update program was never to copy the build onto the computer....as well I got this one today:

Error:5 Could not create directory c:\\users\\(name)\\documents\\bioware\\dragon age\\toolset\\lvlworkspace\\resman\\my level's unique name

what am I doing wrong? should I try uninstalling my game and reinstalling forcing it to install in the original program files instead of it allowing it to install in the program files (x86) ?

Thank you all for your help, it's much appreciated

@LadyFury Just a hunch but could it be an administrator rights issue? (i.e. your folders aren't set for full access and modification rights)

I'm not sure to be honest, I tried to run it as admin but still got the same issue I'm just starting to think that the toolset doesn't like me lol

When you right click on your usable my documents folder, then click on properties > security, how are your permissions set per user?

Have you ever run the toolset as a different user? Just throwing out idea's.....
~Edited~ I actually have 3 place on my computer for module export. My module in documents, Modules/single player in documents and on my G drive where my game and the toolset are installed, another module single player export folder.
C:\\Users\\ME\\Documents\\BioWare\\Dragon Age\\modules\\single player

C:\\Users\\ME\\Documents\\BioWare\\Dragon Age\\AddIns\\My Module

G:\\Dragon Age\\modules\\single player

I just got everything reinstalled, so I went into the properties and set all users to full control, hopefully this will work, only crappy thing is my level got deleted from my folder, as well as my back up folder, so once I create the level again if this works I'll post again, I hope this works *crosses fingers*

Well,
One of my animations just refuses to play. All the others work fine. there is nothing else in another track at the same time. It plays in the toolset, but not in the game. grrrrrr.....
There must be something wrong, but I can't find it. Maybe I'll try a similar animation instead.
TY

wow this is frustrating lol....ok so I set all permissions for all users to have full control, I have tried disabling my avg identity protector before posting to fix the RPU error, however that error now comes back as failed. Everything DA O related is located in my program files (x86) folders, I tried force installing into my program files and was a no go, my EA Origin won't allow the install so back to my original path it went, however the toolset is still trying to access the resource builder from the program files folder....I must seriously be doing something wrong for this not to be working. This is what I keep getting I don't explain things well when frustrated and for that I apologise.

I'm not level design expert, but I do know I initially experienced issues when installing the toolset in Win7 (previously used the toolset with WinXP) along with certain older Physx video driver files that I had to manually place in the directories in order for everything to function properly. The newer ones were giving me terrible errors. Also, to export lightmaps you need the right version of Python. While all this may not be related I thought I'd throw that info out there.
If you want me to try and export the level for you let me know.

@LadyFury ~~~~I: 20:28:52 - Campaign resources will be exported to "C:\\Users\\Name\\Documents\\BioWare\\Dragon Age\\modules\\Single Player\\override\\toolsetexport\\".~~~~
Don't you have to create a new module, your own module?

your right Luna, I completely forgot to re-create that, I was so mad I lost my original layout that it didn't even occur to me that I would need that.

Thank you and Dahlia both for your help :)

All I saw was WTF toolset. LOL :crying: And I could relate!
You are welcome, if it infact works for you. I am really green when it comes to the toolset. But it is fun to learn.

That Avatar is how I feel most of the time.:crying: But I never gave up on the toolset, just kept at it because I am stubborn and can't let it beat me. I still need a lot of help, believe me. If you start out with morphs, get familiar with some of the functions, it is all there and amazing! :)

lol had to come back and check this post, been out for a while. But yeah I agree, there have been several times I have posted here in the community, gotten great feed back, and it's made me continue to work with the toolset. I'm pretty good with it, but not an expert by any means, and it still throws surprises at me, hence the "WTF" sometimes. But I strongly encourage trying to learn it. It's a lot of fun... when its working with you :P

I've spent the greater part of my time with it slowly developing a new game with it, that some day down the line I'll finish. The toolset and I have a harsh but amicable relationship ;). Beerfish especially and some other project posters have been great help with animation list, and icon visual list, and even the toolset wiki, everyone who worked on that has just been swell! Couldn't have come this far without any of their aid.

Does anyone know how to delete modules you screwed up and can't use? And why won't it let me change anything on them once they are created? :(

Good question. I could be entirely wrong about this but if I remember correctly it won't disappear from your toolset interface as a module to choose unless you delete the associated files. By that I mean the files located in the folder under my documents/bioware/addins something to that affect. The place where your module resources are basically. Delete the folder that is named after your module under there and it should remove it from the toolset too. Double check this info, but that's what I remember something to that effect.
