Did not get the epilogue

Well, I just completed the game, and as soon as I exit the doors for the parade the credits play. Then I am returned to the main menu. Is it supposed to do that under any circumstances? Is there any parade, or is that what Sten means when he says that "the cake is a lie"?

There's supposed to be a slideshow detailing how all of your most important choices played out. You're really not getting that?

I do have a lot of mods installed. Are there any that are known to bug the epilogue? Is there actually supposed to be a parade, or just the epilogue slides?

Yes, there is a mod that has been known to cause this as well as causing an issue at the Denerim City Gates where you don't get your companion farewells either. Do you have Ser Gilmore NPC installed, and if you do, do you also have the companion compatibility core installed? It's the latter that causes this for some people, and uninstallation is a little more complex than people realize as there's an .erf that is in another directory that needs to be deleted as well.

You don't get a parade, though. Just epilogue slides. So if you're getting the slides, your game is fine.

Btw, thanks so much for your work on the mods you have done. I think I have more than one example of your work added to my game as, if memory serves, you contributed to mods other than ZDF. I remember reading that you contributed to something that I thought was lovely, so thank you for that. I am not sure what it was, though, sorry. It was in the credits on a readme for something. I have a lot of mods on here. EDIT: I am sure ZDF is, itself, lovely, but I never played the game without it, so I have no basis for comparison

And yes, I have Ser Gilmore. And yes, I believe the companion compatibility core came with it. I have seen it in the installed mods list, but I was not sure where it came from.

Well, the ending was rather unsatisfying, so I don't mind going over it again. I was wondering if it was polygamey that was the culprit since my girl is screwing all four romance-able characters. I thought perhaps there were too many "in love" flags or something.

So... I shall look to see where that erf is and clean it up. Or someone can point me to instructions in case I don't find them. That would be very nice.
