i have played games like this one for many years, but i have never met any women who enjoy them as much as i do.
Do any women play these games... i have not met one.

i'm talking about in my everyday experiences when i just talk to people, either at work or on the street or whatever the case may be... i've never come across a woman who likes these games... or maybe they just don't admitt they like these kinds of games

Honestly, less than a percent of the world's population enjoy RPG's, so the odds of meeting a fan out in the streets isn't particularly good. If you live in a city in Europe or North America, your odds are better, but even then, you've probably walked past hundreds of fellow gamers without realising it. It's not like we look any different from anyone else, so unless you actually get to know them and ask what kind of entertainment they like, you'll never know. Hence, the internet has places like this.

I agree. I know many female RPGers other than myself and you would never in a million years guess that. One is an accountant and the other is a lawyer. I mean, we come from all walks of life but sadly, are few (and I mean RPGers in general, not just women).

excuse me, but no i'm not, and i take offense to that, i just like to know why i've never met any women in the real world who enjoy these games. and the reason why i started this post is because sometimes i wonder if the people who claim to be women on forums and blogs such as this, are actually queers pretending to be women.

You take offense to being called creepy, but turn around and accuse people of being queers? First of all, gay men don't have any desire to 'trick' you into talking to them, and secondly as a woman whose been playing MMORPGs for 12 years, your post is neither new or appropriate. 2 out of every 5 gamers are female.
Your apparent lack of social skills may the reason no women gamers are jumping at the chance to meet you.

That might well be the case. Take me as an example. I´m not even human in real life. I´m a 20 ft tall, pink Panda. Who likes Kung-Fu and kicks people claiming to be women in the balls to prove them wrong.

Kudos for not getting overly defensive.
There are plenty of women who play games, and most women gamers are ones who enjoy RPGs, it suits our tastes better. We're from all age groups, all nationalities, and all walks of life. The best way to find them, as has been previously said, is online in communities like this.
We don't like being treated any differently based on our gender, we're all gamers after all. Talk to us as you would any other normal person.

Perhaps you are asking the wrong women. I'm rather reclusive, but have met fellow female gamers. I was most surprised to find that my mother, of all people, plays WOW. We are out there. Maybe we just don't brag about it as much as men do.

On year 7 now, it's looking pretty good so far.
My mom is also a gamer. One of my earliest memories is her yelling at the Duck Hunt dog to quit laughing at her. Used to have family GoldenEye tournaments with my stepdad, mom, big sister and our neighbours. Good times, good times. We all played WoW together for a couple years, but quit. Now it's just Xbox LIVE parties.
