Internet meme spam for great justice! (?)
But, seriously, I've met more female gamers than you can shake a stick at. Just go to a gaming con or a major college and hang around the Tech buildings. (I don't do the second for no reason, I sort of go to class there! But I do go to cons for no reason. Except Pycon, which I will miss this year. *sadface*)

Ladies and gentlemen I would like to thank you all for your great input. You will all help me get an A in my scocial class. My project was to see what would the effect be on random people if a topic was brought up that was typically sexest and well beyond the means of modern day society. This has been a remarkable and somewhat entertaining experiance. If I have offended any of you I am sorry, but i'll do almost anything to get an A. Once agian thank you, and appologies.

All he needs to know is that I am going to miss Pycon, and that is a Very Sad Thing.Sa Seba wrote...

You know, maybe it was a mistake to post that, because now he knows where to look. He will probably creep around on college properties now to find said creatures called 'gaming females'.

Your sample is horribly skewed on this forum. These are not random people by any stretch of the imagination. These people are gamers... sick and twisted abominations that lie on the very fringes of society.
Just kidding. Please don't hurt me. 8[
Seriously though, these are people who are on the same forum because of very similar interests (i.e. specifically because of Dragon Age: Origins or Mass Effect). I guarantee you that the responses you get here will differ wildly from responses of some random people you walk up to in public.
I assume you're in high school, so something like this would probably slide. But if your teacher is someone who actually wants you to learn (you know, the teachers everyone hates because they don't just hand out easy marks), you should reconsider what you're doing. Either state that you realize your sample is skewed and explain why you decided to use it regardless, or actually go out there and redo your experiment.

excuse me, but no i'm not, and i take offense to that, i just like to know why i've never met any women in the real world who enjoy these games. and the reason why i started this post is because sometimes i wonder if the people who claim to be women on forums and blogs such as this, are actually queers pretending to be women.
