For those of us who got the breathe scene, how do you think it ends?

Destroy is the only game in which he survives, as Bioware has confirmed that it is Commander Shepard who takes a breathe.
For those of us who think this is the true ending, or even those of us who just enjoy the scene, what do you think happens afterwords?
I assume Shepard is pulled from the wreckage, as the area was clearly not abandoned. He's given immediate medical treatment and is basically hospitalized for a few days. Remeber Shepards body was part synthetic, so all of those functions are gone. I personally believe he ends up surving though, although he is very wounded and is no longer in fighting shape.
I see him with several scars and possibly even being wheelchair bound. He is awake and concious after a few days, but it takes months of recovery for him to get back to "normal"
I believe it takes a few months to fix the Mass Relays, as they already know how to build them and the technology for them, and I believe the Normandy goes back to Earth to look for Shepard.
I believe Shepard and Liara (in my case) settle down and just become regular civilains helping out rebulding society.
I know it's a cliche happy ending, but I didn't really agree with the choices and/or consequences of the other two.

If I ever roll a BroShep, I'm picking Miranda or Jack as a LI so I don't have to worry about the whole Normandy nonsense in my head canon.

She has extreme burns from getting blasted by Harbinger with her armour melted, bleeding out slowly as she hobbled up the conduit, then can't even stand up to arm the Crucible and collapses. Then she bleeds some more while Starbrat is weaving his bull****, she then walks into the pipe expoding, the Citadel getting some parts blow up and getting stranded on the Citadel to die from her injuries since her teammates abandoned her and everyone will be too busy celebrating/half dead themselves.
So yeah, she takes a breath then carks it.

Shepard has survived impossible odds and while he got the crap kicked out of him/her from that laser, he doesn't appear to have any major injuries like broken bones. He's beaten up and lost a lot of blood yes, but if he's survived all that, it can be assumed he made it back to the beam.

I really don't think they would have even bothered with the breathe scene just so Shepard could die 5 seconds later.

It's up to your judgment to decide.
Personally I don't think being hit by a Reaper beam AND falling from space in the same day bode well for their survival. Yes, he's a tough badass, but I think Shep's on his/her last legs by the time they meet TIM/Starchild.
Might've taken a breath, but the context is up to you. I think if someone isn't about to find Shep right away, they're in trouble. If Shep's being dug out, survival's pretty likely, after which there would be pizza.

That being said...I do believe that the breathe scene was added to show that Shepard survived.

Why can't we have an ending where Garrus and Shepard are drinking some beer on a beach while looking at the ocean full of dead Reapers.
I don't know why Bioware would even bother with the effort of teasing us with a Breathe scene just to be like "Oh yeah he died right after that"

Later on, Shepard goes to Rannoch with Tali and tries to withdraw from the public eye to spend the rest of his days in peace, but something happens and an older Shepard goes out for one last adventure and doesn't return.

The immediate end of the breath scene? something along the lines of "ow, ow ow ow ow ow"

And why didn't they use the typical movie scene, where you can see the face with opening eyes, for that?

But my point is why even include the scene if Shepard dies 5 seconds later? Why does every ending have to be Shepard dying?

Like Bioware hasn't done utterly stupid things that make no sense before.
