For those of us who got the breathe scene, how do you think it ends?

When did any species possess, or use "beam me up, Scotty" technology? So you borrowed some tech from another scifi epic, but your ending is better? It's far better to die on the way to the beam, and more believable than surviving Harbinger's beam. Near miss? Close enough that the heat melted your armor off, but not close enough to vaporize you? Close enough that the shrapnel from the ground exploding from the impact rips you to shreds, but conveniently leaves you alive? There are inherent flaws with this line of reasoning: First, if it's hot enough to melt your armor, what do you suppose happens to your skin, muscles and bone? Second, what about the electronics in the armor that are going to have a massive overload? Isn't that going to compound the heat damage from the laser blast? Just how did the shrapnel not penetrate any internal organs that are left, if any, from the other two? You see, it's funny that people dismiss this out of hand, and then complain about the Catalyst and the choices. This is my preferred ending: Shepard dies on the way to the beam. If they had rolled the credits there, I would have been ecstatic about how it ended. That was the perfect ending to the story.

If Miranda is still alive she can bring you back again. If not then sucks to be you.

Spend time retired, realize it's not for them and they take the Shepard family into the galaxy, helping the helpless.
The end.
Male Shep? Builds a house for Tali on Rannoch. They tour it, check out the view from the window and leave it, never to return. Shep carries on as a Spectre and Tali keeps the SR2 humming.

The immediate end of the breath scene? something along the lines of "ow, ow ow ow ow ow"
Later on, Shepard goes to Rannoch with Tali and tries to withdraw from the public eye to spend the rest of his days in peace, but something happens and an older Shepard goes out for one last adventure and doesn't return.
Isen't that Draogon Age?
but anyway
still what happens to my shepard

shepard surviving makes less sense than the catalyst
Why? Not if Joker swoops in and save the day before the citadel blows up!

But he doesn't.
My perception has been that, if the Citadel is designed worth a damn, in the event of a catastrophic blast sections have kinetic/physical barriers and can serve in lifeboats
Shep ended up in one.

Didn't one of the writers suggest that this could be what had happened?
In any event, I like to think that the Normandy with its crew and Shep's LI didn't land too far from where Shep is, and can get back to Shep within a few months or so.

There is no way my Shepards and Kaidan are settling down with kids. What a boring life. There is still so much to do in the galaxy! Besides Alenko need to trains his biotic spec ops. Shepard will do admiral stuff.
First of to help Garrus and Tali on Rannoch.
Then some tidying up on Palaven and Thessia.
And that apartment on Citadel was nice, so why not.

As for mine, he reunites with Miranda and the Normandy crew. After recovery and physical therapy, Miranda approaches Shepard and suggests that they found a new organization similar to Cerberus (in terms of ideals, not necessarily methods). Shepard agrees and goes on to recruit various friends and associates to the cause.
After some time, Miranda and Brynn (whom Shepard brought into the organization) find a workaround for Miranda's infertility and she uses it. The cure is mass produced and distributed to other women who may need it. Meanwhile, Shepard proposes to Miranda.
A short time down the road, Miranda and Shepard are married (still working in the organization) and would have a daughter.
