 First, a disclaimer: I'm not a great player and I'm not at all fond of dying.  When I play Gold, I take a carefully geared and leveled up kit and go in loaded for bear.  Saying I tend to avoid Platinum would be a mild understatement.

There are times when I just want to chill on Silver and pop some heads, without having to worry about resource management, clever use of game mechanics, when to rocket, PUG unpredictability, etc.  and for this purpose, I 'll sometimes just start up a lobby for geth Silver.  Tend to go with Detsoyer on Glacier and GE on White.  Or for that matter, the ACA anywhere, as he's hideously OP for Silver.  Talon Merc is also great for yucks, though I find him a bit squishy for Gold.

Where do you go to chill?  Caveat: saying the Thunderdome will likely expose you as a blowhard.

Hydra or Giant. Large maps, lotsa walls.

Firebase White. the central room is great for close quarters and the ledge is great for sniping. lots of grenades on the map too. objectives are relatively easy to get to. the hacks and 1234 objectives aren't that brutal either

Firebase white, female quarian engineer, and silber for a nice moderate difficulty, any enemy. Enjoy a nice bit of nostalgia, the non gimmicky clean map design, and my favorite species, class, and the kit that got me through the demo. Not much more relaxing than that.

FB Giant Kroguard preverably against reapers. For the first few waves you can just bunker down in the control room and overcountergrab everything. Insert occasional Biotic charge to regain barriers.

My first map to play on multiplayer at all and still my favorite.

White or Dagger are my favorite chill maps... for Gold or Plat. Ghost too...

White, Goddess, Ghost (both regular and hazard variants). I like using the collector for a relaxed game because I love shooting the sphere. 9 meters of pure green awesome biotics.

Too many Dagger mentions. That map makes me sick, but that's because I prefer close range combat.

I chill on giant, glacier and ghost, will also chill on their hazard versions.

Jade, Hazard White, Goddess. Goddess is specifically collectors, because shooting scions is fun, and it's very easy to avoid their attacks on that map.

Jade can be reapers or collectors. Hanging out in the upper aisles is relaxing. Hazard white anything but geth *shivers

Wayyy too much giant to find that map exciting anymore.

i cant think of any map that is particularly relaxing, the ones i like are all equally good.

The ones I HATE are condor (no ammo and glitchy), glacier (too small, nowhere to hide), glacier hazard (even worse).

Rio objectives can be very bad, depending on whom im playing with, London is insane if wave 10 hack circle is out in the open.

Ghost hazard is horrible with collectors, White hazard is horrible for Geth Hunter Mode or Krogan rage.

Call me crazy, but aside from the center hack, I like London. Also Giant and Ghost are laid back maps with decent teams.

It started to grow on me as a sniper map. If the entire team camps the bridge, i stand on the opposite side and keep to myself. I always do well on that map now that I have a strategy for it.
