Excuse me? Please can someone out there tell me why my mounted phenotypes all have white/blank faces? :-/
http://img18.imagesh...nwnhorsepic.jpg

This seems to be an issue with all the mounted phentypes, and not just 1.
The flying one is fine though. It's unusual to me as to why this one has a face and all the mounted ones don't.

Does this have to do with editing 2da's in either appearances or phenotypes?
Anyone have any ideas why I'm having this problem and how can I fix it please?

I'm using the new CEP 2.4 too. Not sure if that helps or not.
Just thought I'd add it in just incase.

Also, I'm not sure about anyone else, but personally I'd rather like to see mounted pegasus's as shown in one of the screenshots from this page at the n.w. vault site.
http://nwvault.ign.c....Detail&id=7377

Does anyone know how I can achieve that with the toolset please?
I see an option for the mounted nighmares in the drop down "phenotypes" list. But I don't see ones for
the pegasus. I guess I'm a bit clueless here right now, and I'm wondering if anyone could spare a bit of time to help me out a bit here please?B)

I've seen this in the toolset numerous times, however I believe they will show up normally once IG.

My want to checkout the head model and make sure the bitmap is named after the model. Or check in the HAK to make sure you are not missing these.

Thank you for the helpful reply. :)
I didn't think to check it ingame at first. But after your reply, I went in to have a look at the character I placed down there, and sure enough it looks fine to me in this case. But it's quite strange. I don't understand why it's fine ingame and a white face look in the toolset. Don't suppose you (or anyone) has any ideas.

I think I may be fine with this for a whie anyhow.B)

I'm not really sure how to do any of that. I assume it would be in 2da appearances, though I don't really know how to deal with bitmaps. As it seems fine ingame, I think I'll be okay with that.
But I'm a little curious to know how to deal with the bitmap side of thigs here so that I can see the face properly in the toolset. I might just leave it as it is for now as I'm about 90% happy with it.
Thanks.B)

If I were to hazard a guess, it would be because the textures and models are likely in different haks, and the toolset loads the haks differently than the game engine does.

Thanks for the helpful reply.:)
I think that has cleared it up as to why the game can be seen differently than the nwn toolset.B)
