Yeah it 100% works for me just install the launcher after you install this texture and it should work fine (idk if the launcher needs to be installed after the texture pack but thats what i did and it works) 


What do you mean by "install the launcher"? I've downloaded and installed the modpack in this thread already, so am I supposed to install the launcher as well? I'm not understanding your instructions.

LauncherWV and Texmod are not compatible; if you want to use both you need to download PatcherWV. Start the game using Texmod as you normally would and once you reach the 'press any key' screen, alt-tab out of the game and run PatcherWV.

I have literally been looking for an HD mod for this game that was simple, all together and wouldn't destroy the game so I can't play it anymore. And for that I thank you.

Hi all - first of all, this is simply an amazing effort so thank you to the creator of the Mod :)

Secondly...it seems that since I installed the Mod, my Nvidia CP/Inspector Settings are not being applied correctly to the game. I know that we are using a different launcher (VWLauncher), but that simply starts the main Executable right?

Does anyone know how to configure this correctly so that I can apply my normal AA/SSAA settings on top of the HD Mod?

OK, so it is it even possible to run this mod pack congruently with Texmod at all? Any time I try running Texmod, and ME3 starts up, it doesn't load any of the textures.

Is it safe to assume that I need to revert the files to their vanilla form in order to use Texmod?

It is possible to use both this mod and Texmod at the same time (look at my previous post in this thread) however, if a texture has already been replaced by this mod it cannot be re-replaced by Texmod.

Some of the modders who are more knowlegdeable than me in regards to ME3's file system can explain why that isn't possible, but from what I understand Texmod makes changes by altering the values once the texture is loaded into memory. With this mod, it changes the "location" of the texture while in memory making replacement impossible.

Ok that's what I thought. Thanks for clearing that up for me. I was trying to add Smarteks HR multiplayer maps, but texmod wasn't loading them. I guess I'm stuck then.

What you can do is if you know which PCC files contain the textures you're trying to replace with Texmod are, you can restore those original PCC files, rerun TOCbin updater, and the Texmod replacements should work again.

This mod looks really interesting, especially if it takes all of the best mods and installs them at once. Unfortunantly, the link to the download is down. Anybody have a copy?

Also, I'm assuming this uses ME3 Explorer, right?

It uses mexplorer and a launcher i have all the mods he did, it's a shame he never could fix the citadel dlc oh well i guess you can still convert the tpf to .mod. I really would love to upload these files to a torrent but my connection is only dsl even with a router I only get 90kbs upload speed and with uploading videos to my youtube channel sometimes i have to compress them and even with that a ten minute or more video can sometimes take a whole night. So it's out the option only one would be to meet someone who lives in my area who is passionate about the series and be willing to share the mod.

That's unfortunate. It seems weird how it seems his project went dead all of a sudden. Looking at the project page, he was posting and saying he was close to finishing the Citadel DLC, and then nothing. No updates and a dead link. Wonder what happened?

Someone said a few days ago that they are working on finishing the mod since hes gone, or rather compiling it all over again with the Citadel DLC.

Great news. It would obviously be preferable to have let him know that his work was being improved upon and released by others, but I guess we'll still get the mod in due time.

Im not sure how anyone would contact him, he vanished and his communication with everyone was never good later on. Anyway im pretty sure it was mostly Smartecks textures in it, with assorted others. He might have done some of his own though too.

I saved everything i could from the site before it went down, like his instructions. Hope this is what you need.

2.Download Large address aware

3.unzip all in Game folder

4.Download me3 explorer

5.unzip in any folder and open me3explorer.exe

6.open tools->TOC.bin updater

7.file-> check PCConsoleTOC.bin

8.choose PCConsoleTOC.bin (...mass effect 3/BIOGame/PCConsoleTOC.bin)

9.Update

10.Run Large Address Aware.exe as administrator choose masseffect3.exe and check the box.

11.launch the Game from launcherWV.exe (...Mass Effect 3/Binaries/Win32)

There's a better method available on the me3explorer forums for step 11, the patcher is outdated.
