Remember this old compilation thread?

Some of the suggestions from these threads actually made it into kits in the multiplayer.
Also after lots of petitions to make the collectors a faction, they were eventually introduced to multiplayer.

Either Bioware has been listening to us, or they planned this all along.
Whilst Bioware won't be introducing any more DLC, it's a comforting thought that they might have actually listened to us.

Remember when the Krogan Vanguard was something that people were asking for?

Some Epic Ideas:  

UNITY LEGION!: These are some epic concepts! I recommend this thread. Ultimate Pheer really has put the time and effort into coming up with some of the best fighters in the galaxy. Add to this, new weapons, new weapon mods, new maps and a brand new way to approach your battles. Trully superb!

Resonance Pack:  DullahansXMARK: Has created some interesting concepts for what would have made for a spectacular addition.

Spectre Forces: Areskeith wondered what it would be like for the Council Spectres to join forces with the N7's. The result is one of the most imaginative addons I've ever seen. Definitely worth a look.

Vengence DLC: Areskeith followed up his Spectre Forces with a powerhouse of destruction. These characters are well thought out, balanced and look like they would be a lot of fun to use. Like most older concept threads, many similiar kits were introduced shortly afterwards, but this is still worth a look. Areskeith and Soja 57 are one epic team.

The Alien Special Forces: What Straw Hat Moose lacks in formatting and presentation, he makes up with some impressive highly detailed ideas. If you can get past the poor presentation, there is an amazing thread just waiting to be read.

RAGE DLC: Epic name! Epic characters! Epic weapons! Epic maps! Epic new powers! This thread needs to be looked at by everyone! Each character concept follows the chaotic and destructive themes of the Reaper War, to produce some of the most badass commandos ever concieved. Just a pity about formatting. It's isn't very easy on the eyes. Upinyaslayin has created a masterpiece here.

Prodigy DLC: This work in progress already has two concepts. Both very good. It shows a lot of promise. Go and support this one with feedback. Phenoix is still on fire.

Vendetta DLC: Ultimate Pheer, takes concepts that he came up with on this thread and puts them into his own thread. He has also added new weapons. Please give feedback.

Defiance DLC: Defying the Reapers! Dunabar creates his own army of trully terrifying commandoes of unimaginable destruction. No reaper footsolder dares underestimate these worthy adversaries.

Desperation DLC: 

Sometimes during the darkest moments of a conflict when almost all hope is lost, the very best soldiers emerge.

The goal of this thread has already been achieved. That goal being filling in the gaps of all of the current multiplayer races. (Which was achieved in the opening post).

But that doesn't mean there is no more fun to be had.

Raloi
Not sure what the raloi are? Neither to the Mass Effect writers. They are mentioned somewhere in the codex but never seen in the games. They are apparantly a bird like race.

Yahg
From Shadow Broker DLC in Mass Effect 2. Also makes cameo appearance on Sur Kesh in Mass Effect 3. Judging from a fun boss battle, these guys are very tanky. Or maybe they're not. Perhaps the Yahg you see are the exception to the rule. Perhaps the ones you saw were genetically altered to be larger and bulkier.

The shades are an organization formed to gain special intelligence no one else can. They're mercenaries who specialize on taking bases from within while battles go on, recover intelligence and gain tactical info that could turn the tide of battle. They're motto is "even when the best can't get the stuff you need, that's when you call the shades"

Masters of deception, battlefield control, sabotage, hit and run tactics, and all kinds of manipulation techniques. The shades focus on infiltration and sabotaging the enemy to bleed them dry rather than dealing outright damage

Salarian Lentii Monks

Description from feriwan: The Lentii are a small group of Salarian monks, formed and situated on the Salarian colony of Mannovai. They are relatively unknown, due to their small numbers and due to the fact that their church is only situated on Mannovai. Even there, they are rather secluded from the rest of society. This results in many tales about them, from being able to raise the dead to being able to gift others with biotics without the help of eezo.Their rules and beliefs resemble those of Human Buddhist monks, though there are still an uncountable amount of differences and any salarian can join at anytime. The reapers have forced them out of their homes, and they now fight for the good of the galaxy.
Some Lentii members do not have biotic powers, but it is not a prerequisite. They are still a full member of the society. Some even help with building mechs and other technologies to help around in the society.

Unity Legion: A faction divised by Ultimate Pheer.

"The unity legion is a mysterious organization, Dedicated to upholding it's ideals no matter the cost- Though just what those Ideals are is a matter of much debate amongst many on the extranet. What is not uncertain is that they receive some of the best, and most thorough, specialized training in the galaxy, on par with the best of the best. How a single entity, let alone a non-government private military organization, can afford some of the technology displayed is baffling, but the skill of their operatives cannot be denied.

The Unity Legion produces a staggering diverse and brutally efficient array of weapons, and their operatives have been compared to the Alliance N7 operatives in terms of lethality."

 Critters of War:

Blood Pack sometimes use these. Whilst I doubt that they would be trained as any of the 6 combat classes, I see no reason not to include them.

It is also important to note that Critters are not counted as any of the 6 classes (adept, vanguard, engineer, infiltrator, soldier and sentinel). They are the 7th class. Critters.

SPECTRES:

These kits are "technically" not SPECTRES in the same way that the N7 Special Forces aren't "N7's".
These are some of the most elite N7's around.
They have the best powers, melee and equipment.


SPECTRE kits only start unlocking when all other unline characters have been unlocked.

Automated Turret.
Sill would be like the other turrets out there-skill tree wise, Only buffed.
Also the turrets wouldn't be throw-able, It would be on the back of the character via Mount.

Automated Cannon.
Like the N7 destroyers hawke missile launcher, but with a different kind of skill tree.

Improved tech armor/stimpack.
Like the Normandy; an innovative project between stimpacks (turian) and Tech armor(other).
Detonate-able

The Heavy mele would be a biotic charge. :/
Light melee would be a swipe like you see brutes making.

Quarian Vanguard: (Female)

Biotic Charge

Fitness (same as other classes)
Assault Mastery (same as regular Alliance Training passive)


Biotic Spray: 

A biotic field is sent directly to the weapon in use enabling the weapon fire to prime biotic explosions.

Similiar to Geth Hunter Mode, in the sense that it can be toggled on and off. 
You will take more damage whilst this power is active. In return your weapons will biotically prime enemies. So shoot foe then follow up with reave.
In addition your powers will gain a damage bonus.


Evolutions of biotic spray: Whilst active the vanguard will have only 50% barrier strength, since the other 50% will go towards weapon damage).

Rank 1: Unlock
Rank 2: Weapon Damage + 5%
Rank 3: Weapon Damage +5%

Rank 4a: Power Vulnerability (enemies targeted by biotic spray will take 10% extra damage from all offensive powers)
Rank 4b: Pierce: Weapon fire will pierce light cover.

Rank 5a: Prime Effect. Targets biotically primed by weapon fire will take more damage from biotic explosions.
Rank 5b: Headshot boost: 5% boost to headshot damage.

Rank 6a: Shield and Barrier Damage (boost by 5%)
Rank 6b:  Armor and health damage (boost by 5%)

Note that: Biotic explosions from this class do 2/3 of the damage of the average biotic explosions.

There are some epic ideas.
Finally an assassin with "Assassination" as an ability. Remember in Mass Effect 1 where players with sniping training has "Assassination"? Well the Baterian Assassin Infiltrator has it.

I wanted a kit that exploited "tech vulnerability" evolution of sabotage.
I wanted a Salarian Vanguard.

Why not combine both into one kit?

Every time I come up with a new kit, I have to at least dream up one power. Running out of new powers. So I'm interested in seeing what you guys have to offer.


I've done Geth without any biotic powers for Sentinel, Vanguard and Adept.
So Alliance Units shouldn't be a problem (just use substitute tech powers instead of biotics).

Has the Collector Engineer been used yet?

Awakened Collector Infested Engineer
(Concept: I wanted to make the engineer an early development of the huskification of Protheans mixed with the possibility of Reapers using biological warfare to the extreme. I.e. it was not perfect so there were alot of mistakes and mutations. This engineer is the result of it. An early creation but still used due to it's ability to destroy entrenched positions. Accomplished through the use of acid glands and seeker swarms.)

Infested Carapace
Seeker hive
Acidic spray
Fitness (same as other classes)
Engineering Mastery

(does not use the biotic pulse in melee rather uses its blade)
Infested Carapace:

A acid producing glands and seeker hives are activated in the engineer.
Similar to Batarian Blade armour, in the sense that it can be toggled on and off.
You will take less damage whilst this power is active. In return any enemy that hits you in melee will get a nasty stun from the seekers and are affected by acid.
In addition your powers will gain a damage bonus.
Damage of poison and acid equates to 40% weapon damage
Duration of stun:3 secs
Duration of acid: 5 secs


Evolution of Infested Carapace: essentially you have 50% shields, but the 50% goes to powers.

Rank 1: Unlock
Rank 2: Defense Bonus + 5%
Rank 3: Power Damage +5%

Rank 4a: Speed increased by 10%
Rank 4b: Power damage increased by 15%

Rank 5a: Duration: time of stun and acid increased by 100%
Rank 5b: Melee bonus: 50% increased in melee.

Rank 6a: Contagion (Seekers spread to enemy targets in close proximity stunning and infecting them with acid)
Rank 6b: Health improved by 50% and all damage reduced by 15% and leaving behind an acidic trail.

Seeker Hive:

Grow a seeker hive which sends explosive seeker swarms to enemy targets. Once explodes stuns and damage targets. (interacts with Ascension Mode and acid spray)
i.e In ascension mode swarms become plagues meaning they move much faster and deal 50% more damage. If hive sprayed at with acid, Swarms now coat enemy with acid dealing 40% weapon damage.
Damage: 500
Duration of stun:2 secs
Sends swarm every 3 secs
Duration of hive: 60 secs or until destroyed, 1500 health
Recharge 15 secs

Rank 1: Unlock
Rank 2: Damage Bonus + 5%
Rank 3: Health Bonus +5%

Rank 4a: Rate of gestation decreased by 20%
Rank 4b: Damage increased by 20%

Rank 5a: Duration: time of stun increased by 100%
Rank 5b: Proximity shield: Staying close to the hive decreases damage by 10%

Rank 6a: Caustic remains: leaves a patch of acid on the ground after swarm detonation
Rank 6b: Rapid gestation: rate of which seekers sent decreased by 50%

Acid Spray:

Similiar to Snap freeze enemies coated in acid are damage for 30% weapon damage. Interacts with seeker hive.
In addition your powers will gain a damage bonus.
Damage of acid: 500
Recharge: 8 sec
Range: 10m
Acid duration: 6 secs

Acid Spray:
Rank 1: Unlock
Rank 2: Recharge speed increased by 25%
Rank 3: Power Damage +20%

Rank 4a: Damage +30%
Rank 4b: Reach 50%

Rank 5a: Duration and Power Vulnerability:acid increased by 100% and all power damage taken by target increased by 15%
Rank 5b: Caustic spew: Leaves a patch of acid after use which slows and damage targets (-45% movement speed and damage is 30% of weapon damage

Rank 6a: Armour Corrosion: Damage Increased to armour by 50% and damage increased by 40%
Rank 6b: Shield and barrier penetration: (self explanatory)

Description: Teleport in any designated direction, cutting through enemies while leaving behind a trail of seeker swarms. The seeker swarms remain for a few seconds, placing health enemies in stasis and priming any impacted enemy for a biotic explosion. Teleportation is similar to the Turian Cabal, but works in any lateral direction (meaning you can teleport backwards or sideways as well). Can only be activated when moving in a certain direction.

Swarm Duration = 3 seconds
Swarm Trail Width = 1.5 meters
Impact Damage = 500 damage
Range = 12 meters
Base Cooldown = 8 seconds

2 = Recharge Speed: Increase recharge speed by 25%
3 = Impact Damage: Increase impact damage by 20%
4a = Damage & Radius: Increase impact damage by 30%, creates a 3 meter radius of swarms at the impact location (also deals impact damage)
4b = Swarm Duration: Increase swarm duration by 50%
5a = Range & Width: Increase range by 40%, increase width by 50%
5b = Seeker Swarms deal 150 damage per second of duration
6a = Barrier Restore: Restores 30% of barriers instantly, and an additional 15% per second of swarm duration
6b = Double Dash: Only every other dash triggers a cooldown, at the cost of reducing range by 40%


Flare (Slightly revamped)

3 = Damage & Force: Increase damage and force by 20%
4a = Damage & Force: Increase damage and force by 30%
4b = Radius: Increase radius by 50%
5a = Recharge Speed: Increase recharge speed by 35%
5b = Detonate: Increase force, damage, and impact radius of combo detonations by 50%
6a = Shield Penetration: Throws enemies without armor at reduced effectiveness, increase radius by 30%
6b = Armor Damage: Increase damage vs armor/barriers by 75%


Entangler Blast

Description: Unleash a powerful short range blast of dark energy that also engulfs enemies for a short duration. Can both detonate and prime enemies for biotics, but can't self-detonate. Think of it as Warp and Nova in one power, except using a "grenade" instead of barrier consumption or cooldown.

Burn Duration = 3.5 seconds
Force = 450 N
Impact Radius = 4 meters
Max Capacity = 1

2 = Capacity: Increase max capacity by 1
3 = Damage & Force: Increase damage and force by 20%
4a = Damage & Force: Increase damage and force by 30%
4b = Radius & Duration: Increase radius and duration by 40%
5a = Capacity: Increase max capacity by 2
5b = Debuff: Targets affected take 20% more damage and move 40% slower
6a = Grants 30% damage reduction and 15% movement speed for length of duration
6b = Pierce: Increase damage vs shields/armor/barriers by 50%


Vengeful Ancient (Same as Awakened Collector Adept)


Ancient Warrior (Fitness, same as Awakened Collector Adept)

Gameplay Strategies:

-Phase Shift can be used to close in on enemies, allowing the effective use of shotguns and Entangler Blast. In addition, using Phase Shift and Entangler Blast will cause a biotic detonation.

-Run up to an enemy and unleash an Entangler Blast. Since Entangler Blast doesn't use a cooldown, you can follow up with Flare for a powerful biotic detonation, or quickly escape with Phase Shift.

-If specced correctly, using Phase Shift specced for barrier restore and Entangler Blast specced for damage protection will grant you great survivability, especially when used in conjunction with health/shield bonuses of the Ancient Warrior tree.

-Combining Ascension Mode with any of these powers will greatly increase you damage output.

-When close range combat becomes too risky, you can always use Flare to engage enemies at long range.

Spectre Forces DLC is a well made set of concepts that is definitely worth a mention.
This was made before the Collectors were introduced as a faction.

If you don't mind reading chunks of information, I definitely recommend this one.
