Couple of Shekhmu from my thread of races, if they were MP characters.

Shekhmu Fang of Zharsun
(Female)

Biotic Slash
(like throw but also gives a bleeding effect or cripples)
Nova Orb (Powerful thermal mine that explodes when enemies get close, can have a big radius)
Tactical Cloak (Basic cloak)

Shekhmu Iskhamet Warrior (Male)

Energy Darts (Like batarian ballistic blades, except more effective on long range, can explode heads. Can be charged to do more dmg,)
Dissolving Grenades (Throws grenades that explode into an acidic cloud that quickly dissolves enemies, acid pool remains after for 4-9 secs damaging any enemies that crosses it)
Stimpack (Temporary health, damage or shield boost)

Its likely if Arcians Praetor has any MP in it that I will consider moving these there, and do some more tweaking.

Shadow Broker Flame Guard Soldier
Lore +Concept: The previous Shadow Broker had a strange penchant to hiring out the most exotic assassins and soldiers. Such was the case with the Flame Guard and their more icy sister group. After the Yahg's defeat and Liara's accession, the Flame Guard now works alongside N7 teams to fight the reapers even though their numbers are few. The Guard make up this lack in numbers with devastating flame based attacks that would often leave enemies on scorched earth. (I always wanted to make an Soldier based around fire, seems fitting to have the puts a new meaning to charging out guns blazing)

Light melee: Slash target with flaming omni-blade
Heavy Melee: short lived flame thrower for 3 secs

note: Character can self detonate combos if targets are "combusted" for a constant 450
Also has a hidden passive where if there is a Flame Guard and a Frost Assassin, they both see their enemy targets after all, it's in their lore i.e hunter mode 

Pyro Blast
Works like snap freeze but uses blue flame, enemies panic and deals damage overtime applies combusted effect
Rank 1
Cooldown (Base): base 8 seconds
Damage 550
Range: 10m
Burn damage: 50 per second for 6 seconds

Rank 2
Increase recharge speed by 25%.

Rank 3
Increase damage dealt by 20%

Rank 4
1.Increase damage by 30%
2. Reach
Increased reach of flames by 50%

Rank 5
1. Duration and exposure
Increases duration of burn by 50% and increases damage taken by target by a factor of 15% from all sources
2. Recharge speed and fire explosion
Increases recharge speed by 25% and ability has 20% chance to trigger fire explosion without primer

Rank 6
1, Thermite Filaments
Increased Damage by 40%
Armour weakned by additional 25%
2.Conflageration (90 Degree cone has a persisten flame)
Damage 50 for 6 secs
Can stack with other damage and if enemy ventures into the field

Inferno Grenade

Arc Strike
Fires off a bolt of lightning at a single enemy unit, dealing massive damage. Detonates all of the "combusted" effected enemies and applies a 4m radius "scorched earth" effect after detonation.
Detonation Recharge Speed: 24 sec
Damage: 1000
Damage Over Time: 250
Damage Over Time Duration: 5 sec

Rank 1: Unlock
Rank 2: Increase recharge speed by 15%.
Rank 3: Increase damage by 20%.
Increase damage over time by 15%.

Rank 4a: Increase Damage by 30%
Rank 4b: Increase the radius of the Scorched earth by 40% and damage over time by 20%.

Rank 5a: Increase damage over time by 40% and duration by 40%.
Rank 5b: Increase recharge speed by 40%.

Rank 6a: Arc Strike is concentrated to do 100% more damage at the expense of decreases radius by 50% and recharge increased by 30%
Rank 6b: Increase the radius by 40%.
Increase damage over time by 40%. Scorched Earth now applies combusted effect
Increase duration by 40%.

Another great kit from a master of the elements. Uses an arc strike to take down shields, then focuses on pyro blast and inferno grenades for very powerful fire explosions. You can wreck the battle field with this pyro focused soldier.

Those are kinda necessarry for skills.

A BIOTIC VARREN

Asari's have been on the look out for naturally occuring biotics among varren. Though making up only a small percentage of all Varren in the galaxy, these Varren have been used in many conflicts from the Rachni Wars to the Krogan Rebellions. THe Baterians have used the Varren as weapons against humans during the Skyllian Blitz, and Mercenary Groups such as Blood Pack ,Eclipse, Blue Suns and Talons are willing to pay a fortune for these trully remarkable beasts.

Listed as Spectre unlockable, you must first unlock all uncommon, Rare and Ultra Rare kits before being able to unlock any Spectre Characters.

Rapture: (Missile Projectile). Functions like warp from Mass Effect 2. With a fixed cooldown of 6 seconds this projectile delivers significant damage to barriers and armor as it did in Mass Effect 2. In addition Rapture stops both shield/barrier and health regeneration.

Rapture delivers minor damage to shields and health too but nothing notable.

Like it's Mass Effect 2 counterpart, Rapture only detonates biotic explosions. It doesn't set them up.

Rank 5b: Vulnerability: Enemies affected by rapture take more damage from all sources. This evolution also completly disables all hit point regeneration (be it armor, health, shields or barriers).

Rank 6a: Focused Warp: Double damage to single target. 
Rank 6b: Dual Warp: Send two separate projectiles. No increase in damage per projectile.

Biotic Shield: This power places a biotic shield around an ally/allies. They will recieve improved offense and defence.

Biotic Back Turret: Varrens have a back turret which handles shooting foes, firing hydra missiles, use of medigel/survival ops/ heat clips packs, rviving fallen allies, delivery, hacking and escourting objectives.

The back turret is listed as an assult rifle, and will take ammo mods, assaut rifle weapon mods, gear and consumables,

If combined with warp ammo this biotic turret will prime biotic explosions.

Biotic Back Turret itself:
This turret is a mattock style semi-automatic assault rifle, that fires hard hitting munitions of roughly the same damage. At rank 6, this turret can deliver the same damage as Mattock at Rank X.

It has a modest reserve of 50 munitions and 10 munitions per clip. The reserve ammo can be increased with evolutions in the skill tree.

Default grenade capacity 3. This can be increased to 6.
Default ammo reserves 50. This can be increased to 120.

Rank 1: Weapon Damage
Rank 2: Ammo Capacity for turret + 10.
Rank 3: Grenade Capacity + 1

Rank 4a: Weapon Damage
Rank 4b: Grenade Capacity + 1, Ammo Capacity + 20.

I would run this set up, low survivability but I would be using a lot of adrenaline mods and buffing allies so that the enemies are dead before they get the chance to actually down me. Rapture is built and enhanced to purely prime Biotic Explosions. This build would work best in biotic death squads.

Creative concept. Didn't expect the Biotic shield to function like a grenade. Has much synergy with allies. Overall seems fun.

I like what you've done. This build delivers very heavy power damage, has great synergy between rapture and biotic mine, whilst adding damage with biotic shield.
Vitality further boosts power damage, whilst the turret enables you to tear apart shields whilst having more grenades.

Very offensive.

Wow, hard to believe I've been here for 9 pages of this.

Anyway, I've abandoned the Eclipse engineer for the complexity of trying to incorporate his powers, and I'm instead going to be focusing on my new concept. The Shadow Broker Agent Adept.

Now then, onto speccing this biotic varren

Personally I'd go 6/6/6/0/6

Rapture- heavy warp, weakness, focused

Biotic shield- all DR

Biotic mine- biotic vulnerability, anti-rapture, rapture vulnerability

backpack turret- weapon damage, capacity, phasic rounds

AKA I'm creating something that will make rapture a destruction one target machines that will take down shields for rapture with both the mine and turret, then with the combined bonuses from rapture and weakness from biotic mine make rapture a destroyer. Plus with the shield grenade providing some amazing buffs to keep me alive for that lack of shields

That is a really good build Phoenix. I'd probably get some gear and consumables to make up for losses in power damage.

I decided to place all power damage bonuses in vitality, since skilled players normally skip that power. With biotic damage gear and power damage consumables, you will be able to just about make up for lack of power damage.

I like what you done. Exploiting the vulnerability of rapture and biotic mine. Your build can handle anything.

Yep, since the backpack turret is the only thing I can get in the way of weapons, armor mods (that are usually unused) can make up for it. With the turrets phasic rounds I can destroy shields before I even need the mines most of the time probably, so the Mine will be delivering full damage to health/armor

Mercenaries are, in my opinion, a bit easier to come up with concepts for than any of those species.

Namely: Rachni, Yahg, Raloi, Elcor and Hanar.


I'm going to include more categories, just to keep this thread alive.

Justicars: The Asari Justicars have brought reinforcements to the N7 Special forces.

Reformed: Ex convicts have been given a second chance. Both C-Sec and the Alliance have been working to find ways to implement these reformed individuals into trained combatants in the war against the Reapers.

Turian/Krogan Alliance: Turians and Krogans have been working together to defend the Volus, Elcor and Hanar against the Reapers. These fighters have a unique skill set that sets them apart from regular Krogan and Turians.

Y'know what? Why not throw the Asari Ardat-Yakshi in there as well?

Are we free to come up with new organizations as well? (seeing how we can create enw races and all)

I'll add Asari Ardat-Yakshi:devil:.

All of these Asari have the Ardat-Yakshi genes. Some of these Asari are dangerous Morinth style Ardat-Yakshi. Using their skills of mind control, distraction and inciting panic, Ardat Yakshi have proven themselves to be valuable soldiers on the battlefield.

There must have been hundreds of little factions that fought the Reapers that weren't mentioned in Mass Effect 3.
So, that leaves a lot of room for new concepts.:wizard:

Elcor Defender: Combat Engineer

Elcor Defenders are powerful and versatile troopers that have proudly kept fellow soldiers alive on Dekuuna, with a combination of ammo supplies, medical treatment, fire support and weakening enemy foes.

Elcor Defenders have three different  sustained modes which you can toggle between.

You cannot have more than one of these sustained modes active at any given time.

You can however switch between the sustained modes without incuring cooldowns.

Walking Pylon:  This is one of the three modes you toggle between.



Whilst this mode is active, the Elcor themself is the walking pylon. Anyone within 2.5 metre radius of the Elcor gets health & shield/barrier restoration, ammo and grenades.

Shield pulses (that restore shields) happen every 30 seconds. Choosing all shield/barrier evolutions enables the Walking pylon to fully restore shields.

In addition, the walking pylon has very slow health regeneration.

Rank 2: Shields/barriers and health restoration
Rank 3: Ammo and 1 grenade appear once every 60 seconds
Rank 4a: Shields/barriers and health restoration.
Rank 4b: Wait for ammo and 1 grenade to appear reduced by 10 seconds

Rank 5b: Wait for ammo and 1 grenade to appear reduced by 10 seconds
Rank 6a: Shields/barrier and health restoration

Beserker Mode:
 This is one of the three modes you toggle between.

Like most Elcor, the Elcor Defender can't pick weapons from the load out screen. Instead they have a semi-automatic Mattock like turret on their backs. When Beserker Mode isn't active, the turret does the same damage as the Mattock at rank V. With all damage evolutions in Berserker Mode and Berserker mode being active, the turret delivers 1.2 times the DPS of the Mattock at rank X.


The hardening evolutions of Beserker Mode do greatly reduce the damage you take, but do so at the cost of the Elcor drawing attention to themselves. So in realty these hardening evolutions don't really boost personal survivability. With all hardening evolutions on Beserker Mode, you will draw 100% of the attention, effectively making all allies invisible. However should another Elcor Defender have Beserker Mode active, the draw attention effects will become redundant.

Field of Vulnerability:
 This is one of the three modes you toggle between.


Any foe within 2 metres of the Elcor Defenders becomes vulnerable to all tech powers and primed for tech bursts.


Rank 1: Unlock
Rank 2: Tech Burst Priming: More damaging tech bursts.
Rank 3: Tech Burst Priming

Rank 4a: Improved Tech Vulnerabilty:  Tech powers deliver more damage to foes within the 2m radius of Elcor.
Rank 4b:  Weapon & Melee Vulnerability: Weapons and melee deliver more damages to foes within radius.

Rank 5a: Hacking boost. Drones during escourt objectives move 10% faster. Personal and area hacking is 10% quicker. This hacking boost is active as long as field of vulnerability is active. Elcor's vicinity is not required for these bonuses to take affect.
Rank 5b: Power Boost: Any ally within 2m radius of the Elcor will gain a 10% damage bonus to power damage.


Rank 6a: Shield Buster. Tech bursts setup by Field of Vulnerability now deliver more damage to barriers/ shields.
Rank 6b: Armor Buster. Tech bursts setup by Field of Vulnerabilty now deliver more damage to armor/health.

Auto Projectile Launcher
The Elcor Defenders don't have the traditional fitness and class training passives.
Instead they have two launchers that automatically fire projectiles at fixed intervals.

Every 8 seconds, a damaging missile projectile will be launched; as long as enemies are present.




Rank 1:

Rank 2: Damage
Rank 3: Damage

Rank 4a: Incendiary Projectile. Sets unprotected foes on fire. Damages health and armor. Setups and detonates fire explosions.
Rank 4b: Disruptor Projectile. Stuns unprotected foes. Damages shields, barriers and synthetics. Setups and detonates tech bursts.

Rank 5a: Cover Piercing Projectile. The projectile can phase through light cover (including riot shields), with a damage penality of 10%.
Rank 5b: Slow Down. The rate at which projectiles are fired is now reduced to once every 10 seconds. In return the projectile delivers 30% more damage.

Rank 6a: Improved Elemental Combos. Any combos detonated by projectiles will recieve a 10% damage bonus.
Rank 6b: Dualist. Two projectiles are fired, with each projectile delivering 60% damage. Less damage per projectile, but two targets hit. If only one foe is present, both projectiles will hit the single foe.

Auto Freeze: 
Every 12 seconds, the Elcor sends out a cryo projectile, with an area of effect of 2 metres radius.
This projectile weakens armor, shields/barriers and freezes unprotected foes.
The projectile has a chance of slowing down protected foes too.

Rank 6a: Improved Cryo Combos. Cryo combos gain 10% damage bonus, and 10% to area of effect.
Rank 6b: Armor/Shield/Barrier weakening.

I would probably not use Berzerker mode, and toggle between the other two depending on how close I expect my allies to let enemies get.
