Two New Sections

The Shades (can include organics and synthetics): Suggested by Phoenix

The shades are an organization formed to gain special intelligence no one else can. They're mercenaries who specialize on taking bases from within while battles go on, recover intelligence and gain tactical info that could turn the tide of battle. They're motto is "even when the best can't get the stuff you need, that's when you call the shades"

Masters of deception, battlefield control, sabotage, hit and run tactics, and all kinds of manipulation techniques. The shades focus on infiltration and sabotaging the enemy to bleed them dry rather than dealing outright damage

Free For All.

Any Idea.
Any class.
Any Race.

For free for all... can we add characters that are species from other works of fiction?

Because if so, boy do I have some characters for you...

Yep.

Well since this thread already completed it's goal ages ago might as well have Free For All.

The actual goal of this thread was to ensure that all Turians, Asari, Salarians, Krogans, Baterians, Drell, Volus, Vorcha, Geth, Quarians and Awakened Collectors had at least one kit for each of the 6 classes.

Well the only reason why I added more sections was because, well there are so many great ideas that can be shared.

Well now, I might as well declare a free for all.

The old sections are still up. So feel free to contribute to those too.

Anyway. I'm going to start a new thread just for weapons. Similiar concept to this thread:wizard:.

 New thread.

Since I've achieved what I wanted to achieve with this thread.

I was thinking of doing something similiar but with weapons instead of classes for each race.

Tommorow, I'm going to be searching hard amongst all the weapon contribution threads, to find worth while weapon concepts.

I have some good ideas:

Dalek soldier
Elf Adept
Promethean Engineer
Dwarven Sentinel I literally have no idea what to do with the dwarf sentinel. sorry. Won't be doing anything with him.
Spec ops Elite Infiltrator
Brute Chieftan vanguard

Those six, I have plans for...

First up we have the Dalek Soldier, a furious Juggernaut on the battlefield and proof of why the lords of time itself fear the daleks.

Dalek Character Description: Far more deadly than their appearance would let on, Daleks are a violent, warlike, xenocidal race. They are terrors on the battlefield, nigh invulnerable to all but their own weaponry. A dalek will always prefer to die fighting, and each and every single one is a soldier from birth.

A rare sight anywhere but a battlefield, the Dalek Empire aids the rest of the species in the galaxy only to prove their dominace over the reapers.  It is said that every dalek is a weapon, and that is true, as they wield surprisingly deadly gunsticks and absurdly resilient combat armor into even the thickest of battles.

Power 1: EX-TER-MIN-ATE: Fire a beam from your gunstick, dealing massive damage, killing most targets and staggering anything which survives. not a hitcan or instant hit attack, it travels in a straight line directly in the direction you were aiming. It will stop the moment it hits anything wall or enemy, usually killing most lesser enemies. lesser enemies disintigrate on death from this power
Rank 1: Unlock
Rank 2: Cooldown decreased by 25%
Rank 3: Damage increased by 25%
Dank 4a: Increase force by 45%
Rank 4b: Increase damage by 30%
Rank 5a: Decrease cooldown by 30%
Rank 5b: Increase damage to armor by 25%
Rank 6a: Penetrate shields and barriers, cutting damage dealt to them by 25% but dealing that much damage to the health or armor beneath
Rank 6b: Set enemies who survive on fire, priming for a fire explosion

Power 2: Multi-EX-TER-MIN-ATE: Fire multiple low-powered shots from your Dalek Gunstick at the same time, softening up large patches of enemies to better EX-TER-MIN-ATE them.
Rank 1: Unlock
Rank 2: Cooldown decreased by 25%
Rank 3: Damage increased by 15%
Rank 4a: Increase the force of each shot by 40%
Rank 4b: Increase Damage by 15%
Rank 5a: This skill can detonate Power Combos
Rank 5b: Prime enemies for fire explosions
Rank 6a: Reduce enemy damage, damage protection and movement speed by 20%
Rank 6b: Regenrate shields equal to 10% of the damage dealt

Power 3: Temporal Shift: Using technology captured by daleks from time lords, this allows daleks temporarily be in two places at once, baffling opponents and allowing the dalek to rapidly switch tactical loactions by temporally relocating them. All damage dealt to either version of the dalek during the duration two are teleporting is stilltaken as damage.(long cooldown)
Rank 1: Unlock
Rank 2: Cooldown decreased by 50%
Rank 3: Increase the range which the shift can move the dalek by 35%
Rank 4a: Increase maximum shift distance by 15%
Rank 4b: Increase maximum distance by 15%
Rank 5a: decrease cooldown by 15%
Rank 5b: Increase maximum distance by 10%
Rank 6a: Prevent the past dalek from taking damage, instead only the dalek "shifting in" can take damage
Rank 6b: Decimation field: Detonate the self-destruct spheres on the dalek's 'skirt' once it has successfully moved to it's past self, dealing massive damage to enemies caught in the radius.

Daleks sneer at using any weaponry not of dalek origin. Instead, the class passives go to increasing power damage or HEALTH instead of weapon damage.

Fitness is replaced with Dalekanium armor, increasing either shields or the intermediate armor layer between shields and health. With even a few ranks, the armor becomes extremely difficult to penetrate.

So what do you all think?

Next up: The ELF MAGE ADEPT!

 Elf mage adept!

Elf character description: A rare, long lived and elusive species, the elves have oft been speculated to be some sort of offshoot or genetic sibling to humanity, though most xenobiologists claim this is nigh on impossible. Though they  do resemble humanity to an uncanny degree, most simply assume it is a case of convergent evolution.

Skilled in innumerable arts including that of magic (long dismissed as the stuff of human fantasy) allowing them terrifying power on the battlefield. Dangerous, deadly, and difficult to catch, an elf is a useful ally for any soldier.

Note, the elf mage adept features nothing but grenade-based abilities; unlike the talon, none of these are passive. however, her skills consume several grenades at once, but she regenerates grenades faster than the talon. For the rest of this post, however, grenades shall be called 'Mana Points'

Power 1: Fireball:  Hurl a sphere of fire at an area, burning enemies, priming them for a fire explosion and knocking weaker ones off of their feet. Consumes two mana points.
Rank 1: Unlock
Rank 2: Mana points increased by two
Rank 3: Damage done increased by 15%
Rank 4a: Increase radius by 25%
Rank 4b: Increase burn damage by 25%
Rank 5a: Decrease the amount of mana charges used by 1
Rank 5b: Increase force by 25%
Rank 6a: Scatter flames in the fireball's wake, damaging enemies that walk through the scorched area
Rank 6b: Release a second wave of flames in the direction the fireball was aimed when it hit, dealing extra damage to enemies caught in the cone

Power 2: Lightning Bolt: Fire a bolt of lightning which will chain to multiple nearby targets dealing damage, staggering enemies and detonating power combos. Consumes three mana points
Rank 1: unlock
Rank 2: Mana points increased by three
Rank 3: Damage done increased by 15%
Rank 4a: Increase range which the lightning can chain
Rank 4b:  increase damage by 15%
Rank 5a: Decrease amount of mana charges used by 1
Rank 5b: increase damage to shields and barriers by 25%
Rank 6a: 25% of damage dealt to barriers and shields are restored to your barrier
Rank 6b: Allow the lightning to arc between allies as well, restoring 5% of their shields and allowing the lightning to chain even further distances

Power 3: Ice burst: Launch a shard of ice which explodes and freezes or chills any enemy within range, as well as freezeing the ground, decreasing enemy movement speed causing them to slide. uses one mana point.
Rank 1: Unlock
Rank 2: Increase radius by 15%
Rank 3: Increase mana points by one
Rank 4a: Increase damage done to frozen and chilled targets by 20%
Rank 4b: increase radius by 15%
Rank 5a: Increase movement speed penalty of enemies in the chilled zone by 25%
Rank 5b: increase movement speed penalty to frozen and chilled targets by 15%
Rank 6a: Increase radius by 25%
Rank 6b: Frozen and chilled targets regenerate one mana point when killed.

Passives increase the usual stuff, kinda similar to talon passives. increase mana point count and power damage, mostly.

Next up, we get into halo based characters, starting with the Spec Ops Elite infiltrator... Stay tuned.

Also, anyone wanna give feedback or ways you would spec these guys?

AWAKENED COLLECTOR WEAVER
When the Reaper-killer known as Leviathan fought the Collectors, it severed their connection to Harbinger with a thrall device. Most Collector forces died as a result, but a few survived. Now, these rare individuals fight for the memory of their people, a proud race broken by the Reapers.

The Weaver is the closest equivalent to an engineer the Collectors have. Proficient in the use of movement-slowing biotic webs, the Weaver is a cunning tactician who manipulates the battlefield, often to its advantage.

Awakened Collector Weaver Powers
  • Biotic Web: Generate a stationary biotic web that obstructs enemy movement. Can be upgraded to debuff enemies or even immobilize them for a brief period of time. Deploying a Biotic Web destroys the previous one.
  • Seeker Plague: Lay down a Seeker Hive that will detonate when enemies approach it. It will detonate when an enemy steps into range and once, it does, it will damage and slow every enemy within its radius. There can only be a limited amount of Hives on the map at a time.
  • Singularity: Launch a biotic sphere that draws unprotected enemies toward it and suspend them helplessly while dealing damage. Can be detonated for biotic explosions.

Spec ops elite infiltrator:

http://images1.wikia..._Sangheili.pngp

Character description: Rare, elusive and dangerous warriors, a Spec Ops Elite is a rare sight on the battlefield. skilled in covert operations, they often fight behind enemy lines, taking down targets of high importance.

Though elites consider hiding in the shadows dishonorable, they cannot deny the power these elites wield to change the course of an entire battle.

Power 1: Active camo: Activate active camouflage , distorting your figure and preventing enemies from seeing you. Attacking will break cloak.
Rank 1: Unlock
Rank 2:  Increase recharge speed by 25%
Rank 3: Increase duration by 30%
Rank 4a: Increase duration by 50%
Rank 4b: Increase damage by 50%
Rank 5a: Increase melee damage by 40%
Rank 5b: Increase Power damage by 40%
Rank 6a: Bonus power
Rank 6b: Increase melee and power damage by 25%

(Note: each of the following powers can easily combo into one another or melee attacks. They also recieve melee damage bonuses alongside power damage bonuses)

Power 2:  Cleave: Unleash a powerful overhand strike with your energy sword, dealing massive damage and increasing the damage dealt by melee attacks. (Note that with both recharge speed upgrades and a sufficiently light loadout, it is entirely possible to have a cooldown shorter than the animation)
Rank 1: Unlock
Rank 2: Increase recharge speed by 15%
Rank 3: Increase damage dealt by 15%
Rank 4a: Increase damage by 15%
Rank 4b: Increase melee damage bonus by 10%
Rank 5a: Increase Recharge speed by 10%
Rank 5b: Increase melee damage bonus by 10%
Rank 6a: Increase recharge speed by 15% and damage by 10%
Rank 6b: Increase melee damage bonus by 10%

Power 3: Rend: A powerful uppercut augmented with the elite's energy sword, dealing massive damageand restoring a small bit of your shields (with the recharge speed upgrades, this too can have a recharge length shorter than it's animation)
Rank 1: Unlock
Rank 2: Increase recharge speed by 10%
Rank 3: Increase shields restored by 5%
Rank 4a: Increase recharge speed by 15%
Rank 4b: Increase shields restored by 5%
Rank 5a: Increase damage by 15%
Rank 5b: Increase shields restored by 5%
Rank 6a: Increase recharge speed and damage by 15%
Rank 6b: Increase shields restored by 5%

A very offensive, melee based infiltrator. He augments his light melees, a series of strikes with his wrist mounted energy daggers and a heavy melee in which he chops sideways with his energy sword with melee boosting powers and the ability to restore shields. You like?

Now, on to the Brute chieftan vanguard!

Wow. New concepts emerged.

Some outside of Mass Effect...

A Dalek. A Halo based character?
Not what I was expecting.

Okay. New section created.

Non-Mass Effect.
Have a non Mass Effect kit that loosly fits within the 6 classes (adept, vanguard, engineer, infiltrator, soldier, vanguard), I'll hyperlink it in there.

Comedy is not required, but it helps:P.

What? You act like a Dalek is NOT a logical leap when fighting in a sci-fi universe that allows crossovers.
Because honestly, If I was fighting the reapers, I would want the daleks on my side.

Anyway, Brute Chieftan vanguard!

Image IPB

Character description: Brutal, dangerous, and powerful, the brute chieftan is the best combatant fielded by brutes in normal combat. Wielding powerful gravity hammers, and their species's own natural brutality and cunning,  a brute chieftain is an extremely dangerous and surprisingly mobile combatant.

Power 1: Hammer Leap: Take a flying leap with your gravity hammer, crashing down and knocking around multiple targets.

Rank 2: Cooldown decreased by 25%

Rank 6b: Power cooldowns are decreased by one second for every enemy killed by the power

Power 3: Hammerfall: Drop your gravity hammer, dealing massive damage in a wide radius around you, staggering powerful enemies and knocking lesser ones off of their feet.
Rank 1: Unlock
Rank 2: Radius increased by 50%
Rank 3: Increase damage by 25%
Rank 4a: Increase radius by 25%
Rank 4b: Increase damage by 25%
Rank 5a: Increase radius by 15%
Rank 5b: Increase damage by 15%
Rank 6a: Hammer time: Enemies killed by this power release smaller, half power and half radius detonations.
Rank 6b: Put the hammer down: Add this power's damage and cooldown to hammer leap, increasing it's radius and damage, but also increasing it's cooldown time.

Next up the promethean, it will be creepy and have insanely lethal pets. Prepare to have your mind utterly blown.

When insanity is the only path, only a madman can lead the way.
So, on to the promethean engineer! Go cry in a corner volus sentinel, this is what a pet class should be!

Image IPB
Character description: Dangerous, durable, deadly and terrifying, the Promethean knights form the mainstay of the Forerunner Didact's forces.Though limited in number, they are made of hard light and are nigh invincible. Though the citadel council is unnerved by the Didact's refusal to disclose the process with which he created his prometheans, they cannot deny the effectiveness they display at combat.

Unique character notes: Holds all weapons in it's large right arm, no matter the size. Switches weapons dissolving them into hard light and reforming the other out of hard light. Light melee is a quick strike with it's left arm's laser blade, heavy melee launches a pulse grenade off of it's left arm's launch rail thingy , which hovers in the air above where it landed and projects a damaging field around it for a few seconds, then explodes. It dodges by folding itself up then teleporting.

Power 1: Promethean watcher: Deploy a promethean watcher to provide fire support. It will hover around the battlefield, providing multiple unique combat assets, from throwing enemy grenades back at the source to providing hard light shields to allies to protect them from enemy fire. If the watcher takes too much damage, it will be destroyed. only one may be deployed at a time. (Watcher Mechanics: If it sees a grenade, it will grab it out of the air, spin it around beneath it while holding it with a glowing beam, and launch it back at the enemy, dealing damage equal to what the grenade would have done to players to the enemies. If it is near an ally who is reduced to health gate, it will project a beam at them, covering them in glowing blue for a few moments, Restoring 10% of their max shields or barriers and shield gate. All other times, it will shoot at enemies with a little laser thing to keep them in cover.)
Rank 1: Unlock
Rank 2: Increase watcher health by 15%
Rank 3: Increase recharge speed by 15%
Rank 4a: Increase Watcher health by 15%
Rank 4b: Increase damage dealt by watcher by 15%
Rank 5a: Decrease length watcher holds grenades before throwing them back by 50%
Rank 5b: Increase the amount of shields restored when a watcher projects a hard light shield on an ally by 200% (It will also restore health gate alongside shield gate.)
Rank 6a: Allow the watcher to project multiple beams, allowing it to grab multiple grenades and project multiple shields at once. (So, now it grabs all grenades that come near it and projects a shield to protect all allies which hit shield gate)
Rank 6b: Equip the watcher with a hard light repair matrix, allowing them to resuscitate  allies who were incapacitated. This resuscitation takes twice as long as it normally takes to get an ally back on their feet, and the watcher is incapable of performing any other actions while aiding an ally in this manner.

Power 2: Auto-turret: Deploy a small hard light turret to keep enemies in cover and keep them from regenrating shields and barriers. It deals little damage but prevents shield regeneration. if it takes too much damage, it will revert to hard light. only one may be active at a time.
Rank 1: Unlock
Rank 2: Increase damage dealt by 50%
Rank 3: Increase sheild recharge delay by 50%
Rank 4a: Increase Damage by 25%
Rank 4b: Increase shield recharge Delay by 25%
Rank 5a: Increase damage by 15%
Rank 5b: Increase shield recharge delay by 15%
Rank 6a: Increase fire rate and the rate at which it switches between targets by 75%
Rank 6b: Increase damage and fire rate by 50%

Power 3: Hard light cannon: Deploy a heavy hard light turret, which fires an extremely damaging beam of hard light at enemies, cutting a swathe through them. If the turret takes too much damage, it will revert to hard light. only one may be deployed at a time
Rank 1: Unlock
Rank 2: Increase beam damage by 25%
Rank 3: Increase turret health by 25%
Rank 4a: Increase turret health by 25%
Rank 4b: Increase beam damage by 25%
Rank 5a: Increase turret health by 15% and increase the likelyhood of enemies targeting it by 10%
Rank 5b: Increase beam damage by 15% and increase the length the beam is active by 10%
Rank 6a: Increase likelyhood of enemies targeting the turret by 20% and turret health by 25%
Rank 6b: Allow the beam to penetrate through multiple enemies.

Don't you just love the kind of crazy crap you can get away with when you use soft sci-fi characters in a hard sci-fi environment?

On another note, I hereby claim ownership of page eleven, because I kinda completely took it over.
