Quite a task I've given myself.
2 pages of builds & reviews.
The procrastination ends now!

Ultimate Pheer's  Project Ouranos Astraetus-Class Mech-Infiltrator

My build:

Tactical Cloak [Rank 6]: Damage, Recharge Speed, Bonus Power

Surge [Rank 6]: Damage, Damage, Radius & Damage
Dampening [Rank 6]: Damage Dealt, Damage Dealt, Damage Dealt
Fitness Passive [Nothing]:
Class Training [Rank 6]: Power Damage & Weight Capacity, Power Damage, Power Damage

Review:
Reminds of the Asari Huntress. An infiltrator where the focus is on damage combos and power damage.
I love power usage, and this kit is definitely my cup of tea.

_____________________________________________________________________________________
Ultimate Pheer Project Ouranos Eos-Class Mech Vanguard

My Build:

Heavy Charge [Rank 6]:
Force and Damage, Weapon Vulnerability, Increase Barriers Restored
Biotic Burst [Rank 6]: Force and Damage, Force and Damage, Prime
Multi-Cluster Grenades [Rank 6]:
 Damage, Damage, Damage
Fitness Passive [Nothing]:
Class Training [Rank 6]: Power Damage & Weight Capacity, Power Damage, Power Damage

Review:

A real power house of mass destruction. Improved barriers make the fitness passive redundant, allowing players to focus their efforts to maxing out the power and power combo damage to irridicate foes.
This takes everything I love about Project Ouranos, multiplies it by 10 and adds Michael Bay explosions.
Not even the Transformers can compete with this brillance.

_____________________________________________________________________________________
The Ashen Phoenix's Ex-Cerberus Apollo Soldier

My Build:

Flare Arrow [Rank 6]: Damage, Overload, Transfer Excess Radiation
Sunshatter Arrow [Rank 6]: Decrease Cone Spread, Fire Effect, Increase Number of Arrows,
Judgement Arrow [ Rank 6]: Small Explosion, Armor Damage, Vulnerability
Fitness Passive [Nothing]:
Class Passive [Rank 6]: Power Damage & Weight Capacity, Power Damage, Power Damage

Review:

I love how Ashen Phoenix has created a team player. Restoring ally shields and weakening foes for team mates to exploit. Outside of the support evolutions, the Apollo Soldier has some impressive damage output making them a strong class for soloing higher difficulties too.

The Talon Mercenary Engineer was one of the most interesting kits to come from Reckoning DLC (even if concussive arrows was pointless). The use of omnibow for firing arrows gave players an interesting combination of caster and archer type combat rolled into one. The Apollo Soldier takes all that goodness and creates a superb kit that blows the Talon Mercenary out of the water.

_____________________________________________________________________________________
Anima Machinae's Dedicated Engineering and Deep Space Geth unit

My Build:

Plasma Saw[Rank 6]: Damage, Burn, Ramp Up Time Reduction
Saw Blade Launcher [Rank 6]:  Increase Charges, Fire Effect, Saws Continue To Cut Into Enemy Targets

Plasma Detonation Charge [Rank 6]: Damage, Armor Damage, Damage
Fitness Passive [Nothing]:
Class Passive [Rank 6]: Power Damage & Weight Capacity, Power Damage, Power Damage

Review:

Another epic kit from Anima Machinae. This chain saw, saw launching Geth can rip enemies apart and incite fear into foes. A walking debuffing tool and a monumental source of carnage. This is a trully fantastic kit concept with some fantastic new game machincs.

_____________________________________________________________________________________
Feriwan's Batman:

My Build:

Batarang[Rank 6]: Damage, Damage To Armor, Explosions
Bat Vision [Rank 6]: Power Recharge, Power Damage, Speed and Vision
Bat Ice Grenades [Rank 6]: Impact Radius, Capacity, Freeze through Shields and Barriers
Fitness Passive [Nothing]: Pfft. Batman already is the pinacle of fitness. Because he's BATMAN
Class Passive [Rank 6]: Power Damage & Weight Capacity, Power Damage, Power Damage

Review:

He's BATMAN! Need I say more?
Sigh. Okay. I'll review it properly.

This kit allows players to freeze multiple enemies with grenades to weaken their armor before exploiting the vulnerability with explosive baterangs. So right there you have a powerful dispenser of that pesky armor. Add to this impressive power damage bonuses from Bat Vision and you have a really powerful kit right there.

_____________________________________________________________________________________
Feriwan's N7 Map Operator:

My Build:

Offensive Mode [Rank 6]: Rate of fire, movement, damage
Defensive Mode [Rank 6]: Max shields, reduce damage taken, restore shields
Turret [Rank 6]: Damage, Shots per clip, Armor
Fitness Passive [Nothing]:
Class Passive [Rank 6]: Weapon Damage, Headshot Damage, Weapon Damage

Review:

This is the kind of kit where I would want respec cards.
I could do a heavy damage build, or a very defensive knight in shining armor build. Perhaps go for a melee build. The possibilities are many and each possible build is viable.
This is a fantastic versatile kit with many options.
Trully a "thinking man's" soldier.

_____________________________________________________________________________________

The Ashen Phoenix's Eclipse Artemis Infiltrator

My Build:

Trapper's Arrow [Rank 6]: Explosion Damage, Proximity Mine, Armor Damage
Moonlight Stab [Rank 6]: Damage, Shockwave, Damage & Armor Debuff
Tactical Cloak [Rank 6]: Damage, Melee Damage, Bonus Power
Fitness Passive [Rank 6]: Melee Damage, Martial Artist, Melee Damage
Class Passive [Nothing]: Risky I know.

My Review:

The classic rogue has been given a true sci-fi remake. Complete with blades and a bow to boot.
This is just plain epic.

Great melee prowess combined with agility and two cloaks, keeping you concealed for much longer.
This is another great idea from a manufacturer of great ideas.

 _____________________________________________________________________________________
Anima Machinae's Dark Templar Infiltrator

My Build:

Warp Blade [Rank 6]: Damage, Dark Channel Affects other foes upon kills, Dark Channel Stacking
Void Prison [Rank 6]: Damage Taken, Radius, Radius
Tactical Cloak [Rank 6]:
 Damage, Melee Damage, Bonus Power
Fitness Passive [Rank 6]: Melee Damage, Martial Artist, Melee Damage
Class Passive [Nothing]: Again with the no class passive.

My Review:

Melee Infiltrators sound amazing. Something very satisifying about sneaking around and delivering the ultimate blow to the enemy. The foes will have no time to react. No time to strike back. Combine this with biotic powers and you have a very powerful kit indeed.

I also love any kit that makes use of debuffing abilities.

And now my Turian aka another class to review :)

Image IPB

Turian Kabalim (Sentinel)

character description: The Cabals are an elite biotic turian unit whose dictum is, "the intangible is unstoppable." As turian biotics are relatively rare, with biotic abilities manifesting in only a small percentage of element-zero exposed turians, Cabals tend to be small and only comprised of 10 to 15 individuals led by a commanding officer called a kabalim.

Check the post above yours frequently (as it is being updated).

I am still in the process of reviewing classes.
I've now reached page 17 and will eventually cover the latest contribution.

Also feriwan, I've added your Krogan Mechanic and Turian Kabalim in the Krogan Turian Alliance section of the thread (Page 1). Congratulations on being the first contributor to that section of the thread.

Another post where I review other people's classes and provide a build suggestion.
This thread has been full of epic ideas. As time goes by they get better and better.

This post is dedicated to feriwan.
Feriwan is coming up with amazing Mass Effect kits and amazing non-Mass Effect kits (check out their Batman kit on page 17).

__________________________________________________________________________________
Feriwan's Mandalorian Soldier (from Star Wars)

Build:

Adrenaline Rush [Rank 6]: Hardening, Melee Damage, Power Use
Poison Dart [Rank 4]: Damage
Rocket [Rank 4]: Radius

Fitness Passive [Rank 6]: Melee Damage, Martial Artist, Melee Damage
Class Passive [Rank 6]: Weapon Damage, Headshot Damage, Weapon Damage

Review:
Another interesting kit, that mixes melee with power usage, weapon damage and superior mobility.
I like the idea of invading the foe's personal space and finishing them off with melee attacks after a bullet storm.
But you don't have to play it that way. If you have a particular build in mind, chances are you can make it work with this kit.
__________________________________________________________________________________
Feriwan's Mandalorian Infiltrator:
(From Star Wars)

Build:

Tactical Cloak [Rank 6]: Damage, Recharge Speed, Bonus Power
Flamer [Rank 6]: Reach, Damage, Armor Damage
[Rank 6]: Damage, Fire Effect, Damage To Armor
Fitness Passive [Rank 3]:
Class Passive [Rank 5]: Power Damage, Power Damage,

Review:

This is a smart, versatile build that gives players great options for close quarters combat and ranged combat.
Specialise in powers, specialise in weapons or mix it up with a combination of the two.
When all else fails you can always just repeatedly strike the foe with your melee.
__________________________________________________________________________________
Feriwan's Krogan Mechanic: Engineer

Build:

Shredder[Rank 6]: Damage, Bleed Damage, Damage
Shredder Launcher[Rank 6]: Radius, Knock Back, Two Blades
Spike Grenade [Rank 6]: Damage, Radius, Explosive Spike

Fitness Passive [Nothing]:
Class Passive [Rank 6]: Power Damage & Weight Capacity, Power Damage, Power Damage

Review:

This is a Krogan Engineer that focuses on the ugly, brutal and bloody combat that is normally associated with Baterians. Lots of blades, bleeding and knock back gives this gritty Krogan a bloody edge, which is a far cry from the flashy clean blue Sharman and Vanguards.

Asthetics aside, this playstyle is focused on heavy damage over time, making each power feel like it is doing lots of damage as well as delivering heavy damage. You have shredder for single targets, shredder launcher for eare of effect damage and powerful grenades should you have any in stock.

Feriwan's kit just goes to show that powers don't always have to look pretty to do the job.
__________________________________________________________________________________
Feriwan's Turian Kabalim:

Build:

Biotic Wave [Rank 6]: Range, Size, Lasting Damage
Arc Gauntlets [Rank 6]: Damage, Combo Damage, Drain
Rally [Rank 6]: Damage, Movement Speed, Bonus Power

Fitness Passive [Nothing]:
Class Passive [Rank 6]: Power Damage & Weapon Capacity, Headshots, Damage and Stability

Review:

Leads the charge with close quarters powers, trademark Turian weapon proficency and buffs to the entire squad. This is what the sentinel is all about. Taking powers, melee, weapon damage and giving it all to one kit for maximum versatility. You can specialise in one type of combat, but for me, I prefer having a maix of everything, sacrificing hit points for additional damage in all rares of combat

This is a wonderful kit, that trully shows off the ingenuity of feriwan in style.:wizard:

Yahg Blitzer Adept:

Image IPB
Yahg Blitzer's channel biotic powers into their weapons for maximum damage output.
This is more of a soldier class with support powers rather than a rag doll biotic.

This kit is not about biotic damage, but rather weapon damage. That is why there are no power damage evolutions in class passive.

_________________________________________________________________________
Dark Channel Grenade:
This grenade has a slow damage over time effect. The true strength of this grenade is in it's ability to debuff foes.

Rank 1: Unlock. Slow down foes movement speed by 10% and provide slow damage over time.
Rank 2: Power Vulnerability. +10% damage recieved from all powers.
Rank 3: Weapon & Melee Vulnerability. + 10% damage recieved from weapons and melee attacks.

Rank 4a: Radius increase from 2 metres to 2.5 metres.
Rank 4b: Grenade Capacity + 2

Rank 5a: Stasis. Slow down foes with armor by 30%. Any foe without armor will be in stasis.

Rank 6a: Vulnerability. A further 20% damage taken from all sources.
Rank 6b: Grenade Capacity + 2
_________________________________________________________________________
War Path: Runs on separate 30 second cooldown.
For 10 seconds, guns do not expend ammo or reload. Cooldown begins when duration ends.
War Path cancels out weapon recoil and makes weapons 100% accurate too.

Rank 1: Unlock.
Rank 2: Hardening. Take 5% less damage from all sources.
Rank 3: Hardening. Take 5% less damage from all sources.

Rank 4a: Draw Attention. Draw more aggro from enemies.
Rank 4b: Hardening. Take 20% less damage from all sources.

Rank 5a: Draw Attention. Draw more aggro from enemies.
Rank 5b: Hardening. Take 20% less damage from all sources.

Rank 6a: Draw Attention. Draw more aggro from enemies.
Rank 6b: Hardening. Take 20% less damage from all sources.

_________________________________________________________________________
Biotic Burst: Runs on separate 30 second cooldown.
This restores ammo, shields and health for entire squad. If Mass Prime is chosen cooldown is reduced by 10 seconds.

Rank 1: Unlock. Ammo Restoration 20%. Grenade Restoration + 1.
Rank 2: Shield/Barrier Restoration 20%
Rank 3: Health Restoration 20%

Rank 4a: Ammo Restoration + 40%. Grenade Restoration + 1
Rank 4b: Shield/Barrier Restoration + 40%

Rank 5a: Health Restoration 40%
Rank 5b: Ammo Restoration + 40%. Grenade Restoration + 1

Rank 6a: Health Restoration 40%. Shield/Barrier Restoration 40%.
Rank 6b: Mass Prime. All foes on the battlefield will be primed for biotic explosions (for 10 seconds).
_________________________________________________________________________

Warp Ammo: Funnels biotic energy into weapons for maximum damage output. This can be used in conjunction with other ammo powers. (If you have warp ammo active along with a second ammo mod, both will appear on your weapon).

Passive.

Rank 1: Weapon Damage + 5%
Rank 2: Damage + 5%
Rank 3: Accuracy + 10%

Rank 4a: Headshot Damage + 20%
Rank 4b: Squad Warp Ammo. + 10% weapon damage to entire squad. Does not affect squadmate ammo mods.
(Biotic primes from Yahg Blitzer will not be applied to squad).

Rank 5a: Biotic Prime. Gun fire will prime biotic explosions.
Rank 5b: Panic. Adds a damage over time effect to foes. Also has a 10% chance of causing foes to panic. (Panic effect doesn't work on foes with armor, however the damage over time affect can affect any foe).

Rank 6a:
Expose: Foes affected by warp ammo will take 20% more damage from all sources.
Rank 6b: Exploit: Weapon fire will do 20% more damage to foes affected by biotics.

_________________________________________________________________________

Yahg Biotic Training:

Also provides squad with slow health regeneration.

Rank 5a: Melee Detonation. Heavy Melee attacks can detonate any combo, including biotic explosions.
Rank 5b: Reduce Cooldowns of Biotic Burst and War Path by 10 seconds. Also + 1 to grenade capacity.

Rank 6a: Melee Damage + 30%
Rank 6b: Health and Barriers + 30%

Dark channel grenade- Radius, dark channel boost, vulnerability. I take it that with the extra damage taken these can do some serious damage as the yahg continues to go on a path of destruction as both weakeners and background damage

War path- nothing. I'm already optimized for weapons with reloading doing little to my chain of destruction, so this is better spent elsewhere

Biotic burst- shield/health regen, ammo/grenade regen, mass prime. You kidding me? Priming all enemies on the map? That's my pick for sure.

warp ammo- squad bonus, panic, expose. I don't do headshots, already have mass prime, and expose seems to do what exploit does but better.

Yahg biotic training- barriers, detonation, barriers.

Overall a good support character capable of large detonations to disrupt many enemies and keep everything in disarray. As well as enhancing damage done to foes and doing DoT with other powers to work in conjunction with each other. Whether it be to explode enemies, expose weaknesses, or enhance weaponry.

Thinking of doing the Minerva tactician next.

OK, 2 new ones for now. Came up with a whole new backstory (but you don't have to make a new category for them, Abraham).

Salarians:

Image IPB

Salarian Lentii healer (Adept):

character description: The Lentii are a small group of Salarian monks, formed and situated on the Salarian colony of Mannovai. They are relatively unknown, due to their small numbers and due to the fact that their church is only situated on Mannovai. Even there, they are rather secluded from the rest of society. This results in many tales about them, from being able to raise the dead to being able to gift others with biotics without the help of eezo.Their rules and beliefs resemble those of Human Buddhist monks, though there are still an uncountable amount of differences and any salarian can join at anytime. The reapers have forced them out of their homes, and they now fight for the good of the galaxy.

   -   barrier: 500/500
   -   acrobatics
   -   increased mobility
   -   martial arts

power 1: dominate: compell organic enemies to fight at your mind by temporarily taking over their minds

rank 1: unlock - recharge speed: 6 seconds - spirit damage: 100 - spirit barriers: 400
rank 2: increase recharge speed by 25%

rank 4a: increase spirit's barriers and damage by 40%
rank 4b: spirit opens a singularity when destroyed (same stats as rank 1 singularity)
rank 5a: increase spirit's barriers and damage by 50%
rank 5b: biotic shock - upgrade spirit's short range attack to deal 175 damage over a 5 meter radius. Enemies are stunned for a short duration.

rank 6b: throw - add a long range attack that does 350 points of damage and has a force of 700N

note: it's like a biotic version of combat drone, but is a shodowy figure the size of a salarian

power 3: biotic healing - concentrate your powers to heal yourself and your allies.

rank 1: unlock - recharge speed: 6 seconds - duration: 12 seconds - health regeneration: 10/sec - damage taken: -5% - radius: 4 meters

power 4: Salarian monk

rank 1: unlock - weapon damage: 5% - cooldown bonus: 15% - weight capacity bonus: 10
rank 2: increase weapon damage by 5%

rank 6a: decrease pistol and submachine gun weight by 30%
rank 6b: increase weapon damage by 10%

power 5: fitness

melee and dodge like drell

EDIT: changed rank 6a of power 3

rank 6b: increase barriers restored by 50%

note: movement works sort of like poison strike. The longer you hold the power button, the further you go (press=minimal range). Maybe it also deserves a buff.

rank 5b: increase headshot damage by 20%
rank 6a: decrease pistol and submachine gun weight by 30%
rank 6b: increase weapon damage by 10%

power 5: fitness

melee and dodge like drell

creator's comments: The meaning of these two was to have characters whose powers deal no direct damage.
I have 2 more characters that need some thinking through yet. Might have to be for after the weekend, cause I'm gone then. They're non-ME characters, more specifically, from "The Wheel of Time" by Robert Jordan.

Working on the eclipse Athena Tactician now. An engineer who's power lies not in direct combat, but in controlling the flow of the battlefield to his team's advantage.

And since you guys seem to like RPG references so much, it'll be akin (though not the same) to the priest that buffs your team and debuffs the enemy with various effects. Making your team stronger and faster, and making sure the enemy never hits hard enough or moves fast enough to leave a mark.

I've changed the thread title since I felt that it was a little too restricting.
Got a new kit concept, feel free to add one.

Anyway, following my current habit of providing a build and review to every proposed kit, below are my thoughts...

_________________________________________________________________________________
Salarian Lentii Healer Adept: Concept by Feriwan

My Build:

Dominate [Rank 6]: Radius, Recharge Speed, Biotic Vulnerability
Biotic Spirit [Rank 6]: Singularity, Biotic Shock, Throw
Healing [Rank 6]: Damage Resistance, Duration, Bonus Power

Fitness [Nothing]:
Class Passive [Rank 6]: Weapon Damage, Headshot Damage, Weapon Damage

Review:

This is a useful distract and heal class that provides all the necessary diversions and health regeneraiton to make fitness less necessary. With a kit like this, weapon damage seems to be more appropriate as this kit has little power damage to speak of. A very good kit that can also be transformed into a tank by maxing out fitness and Healing.

The spirit is interesting as it is an ally that acts as a "human adept" type character. The domination is best for reducing aggro off the squishy monk so that the monk can focus on taking down foes with guns. The distraction can also help team mates. Add some squad healing and your squad has better survivability as long as they keep the Salarian monk alive.

But like the volus kits, squadmates must make sure that the salarian takes none of the aggro, especially if fitness is to be dit

Salarian Lentii Monk Vanguard: Concept by Feriwan

My Build:

Dominate [Rank 6]: Radius, Recharge Speed, Biotic Vulnerability
Biotic Jump [Rank 6]: Barriers Restored, Weapon Damage, Warp Trail
Stun Blast [Rank 6]: Radius, Knock Down, Barrier Strength

Fitness [Nothing]:
Class Passive [Rank 6]: Weapon Damage, Headshot Damage, Weapon Damage

Review:

This is an interesting mix of powers. Jump around the map to flank, take of the heat with domination and then stun/knock down foes. The strategy in mind is hit and run since this kit isn't as durable as other vanguard kits out there. Jump presumerably doesn't target foes like regular biotic charge, so this would probably be used to get out of danger rather than as a killing blow. That said the warp trail is an excellent evolution to aid biotic squads.
_____________________________________________________________________________________
Two amazing kits. Can't wait for Feriwan's next kit.:wizard:
Also looking forward to what The Ashen Phoenix has in store.:wizard:

 Yahg Shadow Knight (Infiltrator)

Image IPB

Description: The Yahg's massive size doesn't make them ideal for stealth. Thus the Yahg's philosophy as an infiltrator is somewhat different. Transform squadmates into rogue like infiltrators, whilst the Yahg relies on brute force to leach all of the aggro and soak up all the damage.

Yahg has little in the way of power damage but sports powerful weapon damage and very high melee damage, with both an omni shield and omniblade at the ready.

Light Melee: Electric Shield Bash
Heavy Melee: Incendiary Omniblade (This is a massive omniblade)

Base Health: 1000
Base Shields:1000
Default Grenades: 3
_________________________________________________________________________

Anti-Cloak: This turns all squadmates except the Yahg Shadow Knight psuedo invisible. This effect lasts 30 seconds, and uses up grenades. Allies can use their weapons, melee and powers without breaking the cloak.

Rank 1:
Unlock.  Health Regeneration. Slow health and shield/barrier regeneration for squadmates whilst anti-cloak is active.

Rank 2: Ammo Regeneration: Slow gun ammo regeneration for squadmates whilst anti-cloak is active.
Rank 3: Squadmate Headshot Damage + 5%

Rank 4a:
 Squadmate Headshot Damage + 5%
Rank 4b: Squadmate Power Damage + 5%

Rank 4a: Objective Speed. Solo and squad hacking objectives take 20% less time. Escourt Drones move 20% faster. Squadmates can run during delivery objectives without droping packaging. Targets marked for assassination during kill enemy X objectives take 10% extra damage from all sources.
Rank 4b: Squadmate Power Damage + 20%

Rank 5a:
Squadmate Health, Shield/Barrier and Gun Ammo Regeneration rate increased by 20%.
Rank 5b: Squadmate Headshot Damage + 10%

Rank 6a: Improved Grenades. Squadmates using Direct Damage Grenades (such as Nightshade Blades, Cluster, Frag, Multi-Frag, Sticky, Lift, Inferno, Arc etc) gain a 10% bonus to damage and area of effect.
Rank 6b: Squadmate Headshot Damage + 10%

Anti Cloak doesn't stack. If Anti-Cloak is deployed by another Yahg, it will simply override the first Anti-Cloak. Allies can still use tactical cloak whilst Anti-Cloak is active.

_________________________________________________________________________

Immunity Armor: Uses up grenades. This ability provides a layer of green laser armor. This armor has 400 hitpoints.
Your health and shields will take no damage. Instead the laser armor will take damage. Once the laser armor is destroyed, players will have to wait 40 seconds before they can re-deploy it. The Armor lasts until it is destroyed and cannot regenerate.

Immunity Armor also provides immunity to sync kills, all enemy melee attacks and enemy projectile powers such as the banshee ball and phantom palm blaster.

Rank 1: Unlock. 400 hitpoints
Rank 2: Melee Damage Bonus + 5%
Rank 3: Melee Damage Bonus + 5%

Rank 4a: Melee Damage Bonus + 5%
Rank 4b: Additional 200 Hit points for Immunity Armor.

Rank 5a: Melee Damage Bonus + 5%
Rank 5b: Additional 200 Hit points for Immunity Armor

Rank 6a: Melee Damage Bonus + 5%
Rank 6b: Additional 200 Hit points for Immunity Armor

_________________________________________________________________________

Flammable Smoke Screen:

Smoke Screen does not do any damage. It blankets an area (2 metre radius) in smoke reducing enemy accuracy, movement speed and damage output. The player and allies will be able to easily see through the smoke.

Separate cooldown of 10 seconds.

Please note that any offensive direct damage power will cause the entire smoke screen to explode, delivering damage to shields, barriers and armor. Foes down to health will killed instantly by the explosion.

Rank 1: Unlock.
Rank 2: Explosion Damage to Shields/Barriers + 10%
Rank 3: Explosion Damage to Armor + 10%

Rank 4a: Explosion Damage to Shields/Barriers + 10%
Rank 4b: Explosion Damage to Armor + 10%

Rank 5a: Explosion Damage to Shields/Barriers + 20%
Rank 5b: Explosion Damage to Armor + 20%

Rank 6a: Explosion Damage to Shields/Barriers + 20%
Rank 6b: Explosion Damage to Armor + 20%
_________________________________________________________________________

Knighthood Training:

Light Melee: Electric Shield Bash [Delivers more damage to shields, barriers and synthetic health]
Heavy Melee: Incendiary Omniblade (This is a massive omniblade). [Delivers more damage to armor and organic health].

Rank 1: Flame Omnisword Damage and Omnishield Damage + 5%
Rank 2: Flame Omnisword Damage + 5%
Rank 3: Electric Omnishield Damage + 5%

Rank 4a: Flame Omnisword Damage + 5%

Rank 5a:
 Sniper Rifle Damage + 5%
Rank 5b: Close Quarters Weapon Damage + 5%

Rank 6a:
 Assault Rifle Damage + 5%
Rank 6b: Sniper Rifle Damage + 5%

Yep, So far I have the first two powers thought up (... I did originally have the first two powers DONE. But, I did that thing where I delete all my work... again.)

So far rally point and recon pylon are at least thought up. And it's looking really nice so far.

Hmm, I'm going to take the less obvious route and instead go for a squad improving, mid-range, damage dealing, survivalist commando.

Anti-cloak: power damage, durability, improved grenades

Immunity armor: hit points for all three

Smoke screen: All armor damage

Knighthood training: nothing

Marksmanship: assault rifles, snipers, assault rifles

This makes him good at mid to long range weaponry while still retaining massive amounts of health to take on those tough enemies should they get to close, let's him buff allies to their maximum potential, and disorient enemies and deal massive damage to armor.

 The Eclipse Athena Tactician Engineer

Image IPB

Health: 500
Shields: 650

Description: Athena agents have earned their title, being long-time veterans of eclipse. They have lived through and even won countless battles, infiltrations, skirmishes, mutinies, and a host of other situations that were unwinnable to the average agent. But the Athena tacticians survived through them all, using tactical knowledge and expertise to keep their troops alive and turn the tide fo battle to decimate enemies. Thus earning the Title of Athena Tactician. These special operatives are all equipped with tech to control the battlefield, rallying allies, slowing enemies, blocking off certian points, gaining intelligence throughout the battlefield, and generally just making sure the entire field is at their fingertips. These units may not be the purest offensive powerhouse, but they live by the motto of "it's the tactician that wins the war", and it's true. These units can disrupt enemies and help allies in numerous ways, turning the tide of battle in an instant from unwinnable to unstoppable.

_________________________________________________________________________________________

Powers:

_________________________________________________________________________________________

Rally point: throw a special device that marks an area. Any allies that step within this area will gain numerous benefits as the device amplifies omni-tools, amps, and weapons, boost shields, as well as other more unique benefits. Making it an area to hunker down in, fall back to, or just a general point of regrouping.

Mechanics: only one device can be down at a time, the area in which  allies will receive benefits is marked by a light blue opaque circle.  the circle can go through walls

Rank 1: Increase ally weapon and power damage by 10%, radius 5M, recharge speed 15 sec, decrease shield recharge delay by15%

Rank 2: increase radius by 3M

Rank 3: decrease recharge speed by 3 seconds

Rank 4: A. Increase weapon and power damage bonus by 5%, increase fire rate of weapons while in the circle by 10%

B. restore 400 points of shields to all allies within the circle every 7 seconds, increase power recharge speed while in the circle by 15%

Rank 5: A. increase weapon damage bonus by 5%, allies will now regen a grenade every 15 seconds, spare weapon ammo will slowly regen while in the circle

B.  Increase power recharge speed by 15%, increase power damage by 8%, activating a power within the circle grants a 20% chance for the power to trigger an electric reaction that jumpstarts your shields, restoring 250

Rank 6: A. you can now set down two devices, the second device grants no bonus and has no cooldown. However, using a heavy melee while on top of a device will now instead teleport you to the other device active on the field. There is a 3 second cooldown between teleportations. The second device will break after 15 teleportations

B. The device now emits a powerful shield to protect allies. The entire perimeter of the circle is now covered with a dome like shield that allows friendlies to fire through it and walk though it. But enemeis cannot fire through it or walk through it, meaning NO enemies can get inside the shield while it is active. The shield ahs 2500 hit points and takes 15 seconds to recharge after being destroyed, putting down a new device will not renew the shields strength (that will regen over time), and the shield is only active so long as there is at least one teammate inside the circle.

_________________________________________________________________________________________

Recon pylon: place down a pylon that disrupts enemy movement as well as revealing their location. In adittion to revealing enemies it will also shock those that enter it's radius, slowing them down.

Mechanics: working similar to recon mine, except this one has no explosion. There is the outline of a circle in dark red around it, indicating the radius of the scan and effects. The pylon will shock ANY enemy that enters (meaning if two enter at the same time it won't choose just one to shock), this shock deals moderate damage but has a high chance of stunning most enemies. This pylon cannot be targeted by enemies or be destroyed.

Rank 1:  Radius 6M, shcok damage 300, recharge speed 15 sec

Rank 2: increase radius by 5M

Rank 3: increase shock damage by 100

Rank 4: A. slow any enemies within radius by 45%

B. The pylon will now spawn two turrets next to itself. These turrets have 600 shields each and fire in bursts that deal 100 damage each. When one is destroyed it will take 12 seconds to respawn.

Rank 5: A. The recon pylon will now periodically fire a salvo of 8 explosive mutitions into the air that will rain down on random locations within it's radius. These explosives deal 200 damage in a .5M radius each, salvos are fired every 6 seconds

B. The pylon will now spawn mines periodically. A new mine is spawned at a random point within it's radius every 8 seconds, there can be up to 5 mines active at one time, the mines deal 500 damage over a 1M radius each when an oppenent steps on them.

Rank 6:
A. the pylon will emit a pulse every 8 seconds that reveals the location of all enemies on the map for a breif moment, increase radius by 3M

B. The pylon will emit a pulse of electricity that will deal 300 daamge to everything in it's radius and has a very high chance to stun evey 5 seconds

_________________________________________________________________________________________

Guardian Golem: place a very powerful stationary turret thatself-builds and powers potent omni-barricades that precent enemies and teammates from passing through or firing through them until the turret is destroyed.

Mechanics: this turret must be manually palced like a supply pylon, after being placed it grows to about the height of a palyer, then 4 rotating gun barrels appear, after that an orange wall will begin to form and build until it hits a wall (so it does not go through walls). This wall cannot be shot or moved through by both players and enemies, and can be used as cover, the wall will only go away once the turret is destroyed (note that the engineer can manually destory the turret by disabling it with the heavy melee button). The turret fires in short bursts and deals heavy damage (akin to the cerberus turret), and can rotate to attack enemies on ethier side of the wall. If the wall reaches the maximum length it will just stop building.

Rank 1: Turret hit points 3000, turret damage per burst 250, maximum wall length 10M, recharge speed 15 seconds

Rank 2: increase turret hit points by 500

Rank 3: increase turret damage per burst by 100

Rank 4: A. Add an incendiary effect to the turrets rounds that deal 100 damage over 10 seconds per burst (primes for fire explosion), increase damage agaisnt armor by 25%

B. add an disruptor effect to the turrets rounds that does 50% extra damage to shields (primes for tech burst

Rank 5: A. turret will now regen 50 shields per second, increase mximum shields by 1000

B. Add two rocket barrels to the turrets arsenal, firing two per burst, they each deal 500 damage across a 3M radius

Rank 6: A. Allies can now pass through the wall, but not shoot through it

B. the turret generates omni-spikes along the ground wherever it constructs a wall. Omni spikes are generated for 3M on either side of the wall, and enemies in the field take continous damage of 100 per second.
_________________________________________________________________________________________

Eclipse Tactician: all those years out on the field ahven't been for nothing, you've learned how to amplify your allies omni-tools to fine tune weaponry and powers, or your own.

Rank 1: increase ally power damage by 5%

Rank 2: increase weapon damage by 5%

Rank 3: increase ally weapon damage by 5%

Rank 4: A. increase ally weapon damage by an addtional 5%

B. increase weapon damage by 10%

Rank 5: A. Increase ally power damage by 5%

B. you now have a 35% chance of automatically regenerating a clip when you run out by powering it with your omni-tool

Rank 6: A. increase ally weapon and power damage by 5%

Increase weapon damage by 10%

The Ashen Phoenix's  Eclipse Athena Tactician Engineer

My build

Rally Point [Rank 6]: Shield Regen, Weapon Damage & Ammo/Grenade Regen, Shield
Recon Pylon [Rank 6]: Turrets, Mines, Pulse of Electricity
Guardian Golem [Rank 6]: Incendiary, Rockets, Omni Spikes

Fitness [Nothing]:
Class Passive [Rank 6]: Ally Weapon Damage, Ally Power Damage, Ally Weapon & Power Damage

My Review:

Another fantastic kit.
This thread has begun to take a serious look at support kits.
This kit is a wonderful mix of misdirection, pet power destruction and squadmate buffing.

A powerful squad that can overcome any ordeal. This kit dominates the battlefield as long as it has 3 offensive players at the ready.

Well, actually if you take a look at his weapon passives, since he has no power buffs (obviously I made that since he only has one real damage dealing pet) he actually gets a pretty nice +25% weapon damage bonus in total, more than a human (who ahs above standard) IIRC. I'm actually quite proud of this kit, as it combines damage dealing with weakening the opposition in an amazing way. Which is making yourself stronger while weakening the enemy incredibly and controlling where they go, instead of having a focus on direct damage dealing like most classes. This thing can create choke holds with the turret that blocks off areas, arm those choke holds with a progress impeding recon pylon, and then (if they survive the pylon field) the weakened enemeis will have a powered up player to face, bunkered down in his rally point that is either shielded, or has a quick escape route planned. This is really a quite divesre kit IMO, not so much in making you take hard choices on all the evo's (though there are a few I'd be tempted on), but on how you actually execute those powers.

Edit: oh, and as an idea pops into my head, I'm going to do the Dionysus  Chaos Adept next up. And seeing as how I already have a knack for taking biotic/tech powers to the extreme, I can't wait to see what I come up with for what is actually supposed to be a chaotic adept
