That's quite a lot of characters. It's amazing what the community can do to come up with epic ideas. Well, I'm going to try to come up with a Raloi character. Maybe an Infiltrator or Sentinel. I'll also throw in some lore to justify them being in involved in the Reaper War.

There are some epic reservations.

I am curious about the following.

What Phoenix plans to do with the Drell Soldier
What Soja 57 plans to do with raloi infiltrator or sentnel (I've reserved both, even though Soja might only do one of the two)
and What Ultimate Pheer plans to do for the Volus Infiltrator.

The volus infiltrator makes me curious. The other voluses have tactical cloak as their melee.
So what happens with the infiltrator (whose signature power is the tactical cloak).

Here is the lore entry for the Raloi. The first half of the entry is from the Mass Effect Wiki, and the second half is entirely my own content. This lore entry explains first contact with the Raloi, and how they joined the Reaper War.

- - - - - - - - - - -

The raloi are an avian species originating on the planet Turvess, who made first contact with the asari in 2184 after launching their first space telescope and discovering the asari cruiser Azedes in their system.

Welcome Ceremony
As reported by Cerberus Daily News, in 2185 the Citadel Council formally welcomed the raloi to the galactic community. Sold-out Council-sponsored shuttles arrived at Turvess bearing intrigued visitors and gifts of good will during the welcoming ceremonies. At one point the krogan representatives of the Council delegation were ejected from the proceedings after introducing a violent sport called Kowla, which resulted in multiple deaths and injuries. After the conclusion of the ceremonies, a raloi delegation was dispatched to the Citadel for a three-month stay to learn about intergalactic law, history, alien biology and culture, and mass effect physics.

Withdrawal from the Galaxy
In 2186 during the Reaper invasion, the raloi delegation withdraws from the Citadel. Unwilling and unable to fight the Reapers, the raloi decide to isolate themselves on Turvess and destroy any satellites and observation equipment in orbit around their planet. They hope that the Reapers will see them as a pre-spaceflight civilization and spare their planet.

Turvess as a Safe Haven
While the Raloi remained safely on Turvess, many others attempted to join them. Rumors have spread that along with the Citadel and Sanctuary, Turvess could serve as a safe haven from the Reaper Invasion as well. Early on, the Raloi openly accepted those who wanted salvation from the Reapers. However, as the number of immigrants sky-rocketed, the Raloi soon decided to close off all of their landing ports to reduce the potential of drawing the Reapers attention. Not all of the Raloi agreed with the decisions of the delegates to withdraw from the galaxy and shut out any newcomers. As time passed, resistance groups started to arise, consisting of both Raloi and the refugees.

The Turvessian Revolution
What started as simple protests against the government turned into a violent revolution. The resistance groups declared that they would not sit around while millions are dying all around the galaxy. All of the in-fighting on Turvess eventually came to a halt, however, when the bright skies of Turvess suddenly faded into complete darkness. The Reapers had arrived. Soon, the resistance groups grew from only a small handful of resistance fighters to large-scale armies. The delegates had only delayed the inevitable. Now, the Raloi were forced to fight not only for their homeworld of Turvess, but also to fight for the fate of the galaxy.

Escape from Turvess
Knowing that Turvess was lost, the resistance groups decided escape was the only option. They needed the help of the entire galaxy to win against the Reapers. The delegates, however, refused to open up the ports for the spaceships. Sensing that the delegates had betrayed the people of the Raloi all along, and ultimately left with no choice, the resistance leaders executed the delegates. Their dead bodies collapsed to the floor, with their cybernetic implants spilling out of their wounds. They were indoctrinated slaves working for the Reapers in order to allow efficient harvesting on Turvess.

The ports opened up, allowing evacuation of the planet on a global-scale. Many spaceships were shot down by the Reapers; those who managed to escape the sight of the Reapers flew safely beyond the planet's orbit. The surviving Raloi watched their planet burn. They swore to avenge the deaths of their people. The swore to fight for the lost.

 Volus Predator infiltrator:
Predator camouflage:Activate a light bending matrix, decreasing visibility to your enemies. Slows power usage, and decreases run speed (Toggle, roughly 1/4 the effectiveness at ditching enemies as tactical cloak)
Mechanics: It is kinda like a pseudo-invisibility. enemies still notice you, they just notice you less than your allies, drawing some of the heat off of the mobile shield pylon. When taking aggressive actions, such as a  heavy melee, firing your gun, or spawning a drone, your cloak drops, then reapplies after a few moments. It also boosts the length of the light melee's cloak effect.
Rank 1: Unlock
Rank 2: Reduce cooldown by 15%
Rank 3:  Increase light melee cloak length bonus
Rank 4a: Reduce cloak reapplication time after firing weapons or a heavy melee.
Rank 4b: Increase weapon damage.
Rank 5a: Reduce speed penalty and power cooldown penalty.
Rank 5b: Increase lenghth of light melee cloak effect further.
Rank 6a: Extend the field around you, allowing teammates within a 2 meter radius to share the camouflage at limited effectiveness. (it applies no bonuses OR penalties, and as you have to skip a visibility decrease, it is only 1/4 as effective as tactical cloak, just applied to everyone within it's radius)
Rank 6b: Reduce visibility even further, and increase light melee cloak duration. Slows power usage and decreases speed (roughly half as effective as TC)

Predator drone:
Spawn a drone which will cloak and attack enemies with a light shotgun.
Mechanics: Spawn a drone that will, once spawned, turn invisible and find the nearest enemy. It will then decloak, fire it's shotgun at the enemy until the enemy dies or it takes too much damage, at which point it will recloak and return to the player who spawned it to heal, or hunt down another enemy respectively. (note that it can be healed with shield boost, and is kinda toggled, except if it dies you have to spawn another.)
1: Unlock
2: Decrease cooldown by 20%
3: Increase drone movement speed by 10%
4a: Allows drone to break cloak by attacking, rather than having to drop cloak then begin firing.
4b: Increases drone damage by 15%
5a: Apply Phasic rounds, increasing damage dealt to shields
5b: Apply armor piercing rounds, increasing effectiveness against armor
6a: Claymore: Increase the damage of each shotgun blast by 50%, however the drone can only engage enmies within melee range.
6b: Eviscerator: Increase the distance at which the drone can engage enemies, allowing it to attack from a safe distance.

Shield boost.
Volus training
Fitness

So? How do you guys like it? I decided that the volus already came with tactical cloak, so why not give him something else, to allow him to support better and survive just a bit more. Their light melee will overwrite their camo invisibility for it's duration, meaning that they can still become completely invisible if need be.

Edit: So, I made some edits, and now camo only gets half as effective as cloak , but it increases the length that a volus has full tactical cloak from his light melee. Also, specified 4A on the drone to make it more... not stupid sounding.

Let me sum your concept in one word!

Added.

As for the two new reservations. Reserved.

Soja 57. I love the back story as to how the Raloi got involved in the war. Heck if the Mass Effect film was about the Raloi's revolution and attempts to not gain the attention of the Reapers, that would be epic. I can't wait for your class concepts.

Either way, this volus will remain hyperlinked. But there are still things you can do to improve it.

Well, now that you've got the balls to tempt the devil...
Yeah. A little bit.

I like that invisibility with this kit is a mode you can toggle on and off.
Keep this.

I do like that you've added speed penalities. It is a bit like hide in the shadows like in Dragon Age Origins.
Perhaps the cloak is disabled once you perform an action such as shooting, meleeing or using a power.

However the cloak will remain permanent duration should you not perform any COMBAT action.

Furthermore, you will be the only infiltrator who doesn't have to worry about the cloak switching off during hacking objectives. Which is pretty useful for a character who can't take many hits.

I'm still unclear on how the cloaking mechanics actually work, as there are many varying opinions out there. People say enemies can actually see through their Tactical Cloak in certain situations, therefore I can't judge unless I get a clarification. Other than that, the Predator Camo sounds pretty neat. Though, I think you have too much visibility evolutions, which reduces the significance of each visibility upgrade, and also considering it is somewhat difficult to measure the effectiveness of visibility. Simply reduce the number of visibility upgrades, but buff the remaining ones to compensate. Maybe an evolution that grants damage buffs?

I'm loving the synergy of Predator Drone and Shield Boost. Though I may need a few clarifications. Rank 3: Drone cloak speed? Rank 4a: Allows drone to break cloak by attacking? Also, I don't know how effective the accuracy increase/decrease with the Claymore/Eviscerator is. If this is referring to pellets of the shotgun shot, that means the drone would be inconsistent in hitting its target due to some pellets missing. I would rather have where it affects the range at which it fires the shotgun.

I would change the evolutions for better clarification. Also, the drawbacks feel unnecessary and further complicate the use of the power. Example:

6a Claymore = Increase damage by 50%, but drone must engage within melee range of target.
6b Eviscerator = Drone can fire from longer distances, allowing it to fire safely without taking damage.

Something along those lines would be good. Other than that, the Volus Predator sounds like a great class.

The drone gives the volus some much needed survivability.
The main difficulty is drone AI.

This sounds like what single player's defense drone should of been.
Defense drone isn't a let down but it's just disappointing.

Your predator drone sounds amazing! If defense drone worked like your predator drone it would be awesome.

I really hope pet powers are more useful in Mass Effect 4.

Mass Effect 3 had quite a few. Combat Drone was fine. Sentry Turret was okay. Defense drone wasn't that great. Geth Turret is decent, but is most useful for defending your team with shield boosts. Decoy would have been good if it actually moved instead of staying still (come on! Who in real life is going to be fooled by an almost static hologram?)

Your predator drone would make all of the other pet powers obsolete. Finally a pet power that does something substantial in the field of actually attacking and distracting enemies!

In the opening post there is one blank for Collector Soldier and Alliance Synthetic Vanguard and Engineer.
In the second post, there are still plenty of blanks waiting to be hyperlinked.

Modified that evolution when I realized that with the other changes I made it would only apply at 1/8 the effectiveness of TC, which is almost WHOLLY useless, so now it applies at the same effectiveness as to the volus, but it is still ONLY 1/4 tactical cloak, and it bestows no bonuses or penalties.

Unlike energy drain, this power can restore shields regardless of enemy protection or enemy type. Energy Siphon also boosts the damage dealt to shielded and synthetic enemies.

Shield & Synthetic Damage Bonus = 12.5%
Shields Restored = 10% of total damage dealt
Duration = 12 seconds
Base Cooldown = 10 seconds

2 = Recharge Speed: Increase recharge speed by 25%

6b = Shields Restored: Increase shields restored by 10%

Tesla Nodes (Revamp of one of my old powers)
Image IPB

Description: Deploy two tesla nodes to create a tesla field in between the nodes. Enemies that pass through this field will take damage, stunned, and primed for a tech burst. Once the field is triggered by an enemy, the tesla field will deactivate for a few seconds and automatically reprime for another attack. The two nodes must be placed within a certain range of each other (indicated by a red circle), otherwise the previous node will be destroyed. Only one field may be active a time; deploying another node will form a new tesla field. Does not use a cooldown.

Damage = 800
Stun Duration = 3 seconds (Reduces by 50% per stun for a single enemy to prevent stun-lock)
Deactivate Duration = 5 seconds
Max Pylons = 2
Max Field Distance = 8 meters (Radius in which the 2nd pylon can be placed)

Evolutions
2 = Damage: Increase damage by 20%

Collector Ripper Soldier
(Concept High survivability brute and can dish out as much damage.)
Backstory: The reapers always wanted to created nightmares for the Protheans, what better way than to have them cannibalize each other?

(does not use the biotic pulse in melee rather uses a blade that is embedded in its arm works like a hypodermic needle explained below)
Adaptive Carapace:

Similar to Batarian Blade armour, in the sense that it can be toggled on and off.
You will take less damage whilst this power is active. And once shields are depleted you get a flat damage reduction based on how many bars of health you have left i.e. at 5 health bars 5% but at 1 50%.
In addition your powers will gain a damage bonus.

Evolution of Adaptive Carapace: essentially you have 50% shields, but the 50% goes to Weapons.

Rank 6a: Spined Carapace: enemies take damage when they strike the soldier. Damage equates to 40% weapon damage
Rank 6b: Health improved by 50% and all damage reduced by 10%

Impale:

Grow a serrated blade an impale a target and take in their essence healing yourself and increasing speed. (interacts with Ascension Mode and shredder grenades or bleeding targets) You fly towards them and impale them
i.e In ascension mode impale burns the target and if they die from its effects the body explodes damaging all nearby enemies and stunning them. Impale them when their bleeding, damage and bonuses increases by 50%
Damage: 500
Duration of stun:2 secs ( in ascension mode)
Recharge 5 secs
Drained health 500

Rank 1: Unlock
Rank 2: Damage Bonus + 5%
Rank 3: Drain Bonus +15%

Rank 4a: Recharge speed increased by 20% and speed increased by 10%
Rank 4b: Damage increased by 20%

Rank 5a: Armour Damage: Increases damage to armour by 50%
Rank 5b: Shield/ Barrier Drain: Self explanatory

Rank 6a: Blood Tribute: Increases speed bonuses to 10% and Drain bonus by an additional 40%
Rank 6b: Assassinate: Damage increased by 100% and if enemy dies under ability Damage taken reduced by 10% but increases recharge to 10 Seconds

Shredder Grenade:
Think a frag grenade but focuses on bleeding targets and large radius of effect

Wow that is like the Baterian Soldier but even more brutal.
Some of the more recent soldier kits that Bioware released (whilst still amazing) don't really feel like soldiers. The two geth soldiers especially.

This new addition sounds great. Tanking, bleeding and grenades.

Hmm, also, save the Alliance synthetic vanguard for me as well. I have an epic idea. I've also started to formulate my idea for the drell soldier, and already have a really good power in mind. And I'll probably post the Drell Striker Soldier the same time I do the Grissom Academy biotic in my other thread

EDIT: Ooooohh, we have Rachni? I think I could get some epic engineer/sentinel ideas out of that. In fact.... I'm already formulating an idea for a rachni strike squad Sentinel. But I feel like I'm getting a bit greedy with reservations, if anyone else wants to grab them let them
