Allow me to rephrase.  I hope there's a Paragon way to break up with your first girlfriend.  I don't consider it RL sensible or healthy that people string along relationships that aren't working out or don't pursue stronger feelings when they arrive.  Saying otherwise is just asinine and has lead to a large number of extremely unhappy relationships.

I'll be disappointed if ME1 tries to portray that somehow there's no way for Shepard to be in love with two people or fall in love with someone after having a relationship with someone else, without being some kind of cheating horndog.

As for Tali, there's plenty of 20+ year old virgins.  I was 26 when I lost my virginity.  But I don't think it's really important either way.

I definitely get the sense that there is going to be. From what Casey has said, it sounds like when you run into your ME1 LI you will be given the opportunity to rekindle or end it there.

I guess I view "cheating" under these specific circumstances differently then you do, though. I never felt like I was in a serious relathionship with my ME1 LIs. But I guess we'll see how I choose to play this out in ME2.

This screenshot, for me, is the most telling evidence there's a Talimance in the book. That and also they've uh....ahem....modified her bust.

That's a photoshop. It was posted on the last Tali thread at the old forums.

Or are you just refering to Tali and Shepard and not the blanked out dialogue wheel?

I know that I am not debating ME2, just talking about ME1, not every voice of dissent is anti-Tali

OK people. If you really think you and Tali are destined to be together,  there's no need to compromise your ethics. Going behind the Alliance's back to give a friend something that's very important to them would show that person who you really are and would not forget it. Tali is so unimposing that she didn't even ask for the data itself; she merely wanted to copy it. Hardly an unreasonable request and certainly not a breach of ethics to allow her to do so, I would say. The Alliance still gets the data if you let her copy it, so it's a win-win situation. Not only that, it could be read as a token gesture of good will between humanity and the largest fleet in the galaxy.

And yes, I think Shepard's line could have been better.
