I know! It's freaking annoying. He just had to stir the pot one last time. I love how he says the devs have reminded us over and over about Tali's suit and how she'll die without it. No dev has ever done that. In fact, the only dev who has even mentioend the suit is Patrick, and he was basically saying the opposite of what Chris was.

It's just like in his last "don't get your hopes up" post, he said "what can I say about Tali's suit that I haven't before." He's never mentioned it before then. It's starting to get on my nerves, worse that now the detractors are back in full force like a moth to flame.

As you said earlier in the thread, we'll know for sure, soon enough. There'll be 'e-tears' on my part if she isn't romanceable! ;-)  (Though in my own mind I'm sure she is romanceable)

No offence guys and gals, but the way you Talimancers are so obsessed by it I half expect that the post rate on these forums will drop if she's not romanceable due to an increase in the global suicide rate.

He's scrambling, just like when all the evidence of Legion being recruitable came up. He's trying to make us all believe that nothing that's "oficially" confirmed is in the game. That's his job, but at this point, it's pretty muc an impossible task. Most of us are sure that Garrus and Legion are squaddies and many of us believe Miranda, Tali and Garrus are LI's. but none of that is "oficially" confirmed. So naturally Chris does his job and tries to convince us otherwise, despite the fact there's undeniable evidence to all of these theories.

Heh I am not betting the farm on this one, I am just eager to see it I mainly play Mass Effect 2 for the story not the romances.

Agreed I can't wait to play ME2 for combat/story,but Tali is part of that story,and that's what we are discussing here...

There's a difference between the story and the obsession. Yes Tali is a part of the story, but there is so much obsession around that part of the story amongst the Talimancers that it seems like most of you will be disgusted if Tali's part in the story isn't what you want it to be. I don't use the word obsession lightly, but it seems to me that some posters in these threads are totally obsessed.



I won't name names as that could, and probably would, lead to some unpleasantness for a while. Suffice to say, those of you who are obsessed probably know who you are and if you don't then everybody else probably knows who you are.

Yea no obsession,I'm totally for a Tali romance,but if she is not,she will be my main squadmate.



Tali is my fav character of all time,part due to my imagination.And I will love ME2 no matter what.

Simply having Tali return was enough for me,if she is romanceable I will deff romance her in 1 of my playthroughs.



Simply because some want a Tali romance more then others and will be upset if it doesn't happen doesn't make them obsessed,I think ever Tali supporter will enjoy ME2 no matter what.



PPl who come in here to poke fun at Tali fans are the ones obbsessed with being a-hole and right and i feel bad for someone who lives their life this way.IMO

I suppose I enjoy playing the role of the devil's advocate, and I also enjoy reasoned debate. As strange as it may seem, this topic actually gives me the opportunity to do both at the same time.

I don't mean any offence with my posts and I won't launch into personal attacks, hence why I didn't name any names in my previous post but I do stand by what I said in that some of Tali's fans are very much obsessed.  Not all, but definitely some.

You used the woud obsession 5 times in one post...

1: That's using it pretty lightly

2: Buy a thesaurus

and

3: Yes, I and many others will be disappointed in Bioware for acknowledging the
massive fanbase Tali has for a LI and not doing anything about it, but I doubt
any of us would be 'disgusted'.

Before I started replaying ME1 to get ready for ME2, I didn't care at all about this topic. I didn't remember enough about the characters to have a particular interest in any one them.

However, now that I've played through again a few times, and knowing that Tali is a returning character, the romance option interests me.

No one here is obsessed. People are just having fun, talking and sharing with people who are also interested in the character, and her role in the game. Clearly the sentiements expressed by these fans is what led to Tali and Garrus returning in the second game.

Now that BioWare has pretty much screwed up the game and made it all "pew pew" and not a good game (aka RPG) Tali is my one and only reason to buy the game now...I kid ye not.

Hey, it might not be as shooter-esque as we think! Keep your hopes up! It could be a great RPG! Just try and wait until you've played it.
