1. I personally thought she was one of the better characters in the game. Enjoyed her background and comments/dialogue/one liners.
2. Become annoyed at having to suffer through ME1 as a male Shepard. Don't know what it is about the VA for him but it just annoys me.

Maybe Tali will appear more in sci vs fi part 4? Or have her own Fight for the Lost vid?
She is my favorite squadmate from Mass Effect. Didn´t watch the forums during those days but from the number of Tali love pages, I can think she´s very popular.
If she´s not romanceable, well I´ll be a little disappointed but still happy to have her in the team, to watch my back. And I´ll ask for Talimance in ME 3 or DLC.

With the possibly exception of Wrex I felt she had the most interesting back story/History. It also helps if you read ascension to get a feel for what the quarian people are like.

2.What will you do if she's not romancable?
4.How do you think the developers feel about the sudden Tali popularity? Do you think they plan to have her more involved in the sequel, dlc, books..etc?

I'm pretty sure the developers are aware of the characters popularity. I remember them answering questions about why she wasn't a LI in ME 1,

I think fans will get what they want...
I think it will be a fight to get a return apperance from Tali in ME3 since every1 can be virmired...
1.)I thought I was in the minority in ME1,because i also did not visit the forums back then.
2.)Nothing she will always be in my squad,I was happy they brought her back, and we get to go to the flottila.
3.) For me she was. When I came to the forums i was like holy S***,I never really thought about a "Talimance" until I came to the forums.
4.)...Happy...

They must be pleased with their hard work.

The "Tali Romance" comes from beyond the Omega-4 mass relay, where no ship has ever returned. Quarian romances are rarely seen in the Terminus system, let alone Citadel-controlled space. Most in galactic civilization consider them a myth, and those unfortunate enough to see them face-to-face rarely get the opportunity to ask questions.

This thread is a lot less active, lately. I guess since we haven't had any new evidence we're just sitting here waiting for some clue. To be honest, Tali has been mostly ignored in promotional materials. It's too bad, but I know they're just trying to keep us in suspense, So...I guess we wait for a leak or a spoiler. Six days now. Something tells me we'll know before then. Someone will get the game early, or some review will spill the beans. Maybe a guide leak. Somehow...it'll get out before then.
If by some miracle they manage to keep it under wraps, we need to make a promise to look at the "fraternization" section of the guide, just so we know right away.

How she became so popular?
Easy answer she´s awesome!
And to say it in Stinson style, I hope in me2 she stops being all over geth and be romancable instead

the possibility of a talimance was the only thing that kept me going during my male shepard. Flat VA makes me sleepy haha.

Yeah, Tali's been a bit neglected, but that's nothing compared to poor Garrus. Bioware practical denies he exists (despite overwhelming proof that he's a squadmate). And I'm half-convinced Bioware forget that half of everybody will be playing as FemShep (you'd think they'd try to appeal to at least ONE girl out there... like my ME1-loving, FemShep-playing girlfriend).
Still, there's never such a thing as too much Tali.

Garrus was an interesting character and he sounds weary from what i've seen in clips. It'll be fun to learn whats happened during your dead time.

If I get to the point where I can start recrutig squadmates... I am definitely going to recruit my old school squadmates back. Starting with Garrus then Tali... and see if I can romance her or seomthing. Rest of them... I care no less... seriously, I don't feel that attached to them as I was to Wrex or others... what about you guys

Captain Matsuo: Sergeant Stirling, secure their weapons.
[the team draws]
Urdnott Wrex: Don't try it.
Commander Shepard: Let's not start a fight.
Urdnott Wrex: Why not?
Tali'Zorah nar Rayya: Yes, it's a pity that most of the technology I had planned to bring back to the Flotilla has subsequently tried to kill us.
Tali'Zorah nar Rayya: I'm pleased that the imminent destruction of all organic life has improved you career opportunities.
Charles Saracino: If aliens express their opinions at gunpoint, then why shouldn't we?
Urdnott Wrex: Because they have bigger guns?
enough said as to why these are my 2 favorite characters haha. Wish i could remember that eat you quote from wrex

A new video featuring Tali would be good.
Tali is the first character I´ll recruit no doubt. Then I´ll go with Garrus, SuZe, and Mordin. Haven´t decided on the rest.
Still I´ll need Tali in my squad to feel comfortable.

for better or for worse at least we'll get to see how the characters have matured and what influence (if any) you had on them.

It's possible we may not be able to pick up Tali right away. We can only go after the people in our dossiers, and we know for a fact there are two rounds of them. Remember the party select screen in that 12 minute video? Some of the slots are even more grayed out than the others, meaning we probably "don't know about them" at that point.

Somewhere I heard you see Tali on your first mission maybe just a rumor now.
In some of the videos she is in,there are only a few squadmates. I imagine we should be able to get our hands on her early enough.

Kind of remember that. You had Miranda and Jacob in the squad, and we know you start the game with them first.
We will recruit Tali sooner or later though.

That's during the Freedom's Progress mission (kind of like Eden Prime). You meet her and go your seperate ways. You recruit her later. it remains to be seen whether or not you can get her right away, though.
