Don't knock it!  Seeing the ice queen Morrigan turn from selfish monster to someone who basically sees you as a sister in Dragon Age was pretty good and the voice actress did an amazing job producing real emotions behind it.  Sometimes we don't always get what we want...but we get what we need, like the song says!

Yeah one of my characters for Dragon Age: Origins first slept with her then left her for Leliana, who is too cute, but he became a close friend of Morrigan's and that was touching as their relationship shifted and she showed genuine friendship.  I enjoyed it.  She is an interesting character.

Leliana is too cute.  I always start a game intending to hook up someone else, but she is too damn nice of a person, though a bit jealous.  Like I said, good characters!

Mass Effect really didn't have any cameos of previous Bioware games, though it would be funny if they could sneak in some references here and there. 

As to betraying Leliana, thats rough man.  Watch Bioware kill her in the sequel to provoke an emotional response!

XD, I just wanna know if I gotta run through ME1 one again so I have a male Shepard who isn't a complete rasist jerk.

I mean sure I probably could just create a new ME2 one or download a save, but where's the fun in that?

Yea still waiting on gamefly for Borderlands(games I don't buy I get from gamefly),but after my last 60 lv Shep no LI I'm gonna play some Fallout 3 again.The wait for ME2 is "nearly unbearable".
