If that is true, I totally approve. They should keep her mysterious by keeping her helmet on. That's a part of her personality by now. I think they can solve this with camera angles or shadows or something. Shepard might now what she looks like, the player doesn't have to.

Well, I guess I can see where Bioware are coming from (if they're not coming from the "let's troll the fans, mwahahahaha!" angle) by not showing the face. So many people have built up expectations about what Tali looks like that many would inevitably be disappointed by whatever design Bioware would go with.

I was gone. I really was. Then I IMed with a friend about how happy I was that everything worked out just the way we wanted it. Then he told me that I might have unrealistic expectations about the romance scene.



So, I watched it and...damn it. What's the point of the dramatic arc of her subplot if there's no payoff? I mean...they might has well have not had the scene at all.



What I don't get is why an entire group of people was saying they had seen her face. So either they were lying, or there's more to it than this. And I really want to believe that. Because if it isn't...it's a cop-out.



And before you say anything, yes I am unspeakably grateful that we get the subplot at all. And I'm still happy and it's still going to be the first one I do. But what, we don't even get a kiss? Seriously, all that build up and that? It would have been a perfect time to finally reveal what they look like and instead we get the Master Chief treatment.



I think the thing that bugs me most is that it belittles the plot compared to the others. As if she wasn't important enough to go to the trouble to reveal quarians for. It makes me a little bitter, I won't lie. I'm grateful for what I have, but I still feel a little let down.

Well, if the Tali romance is as "lame" as Im hearing Ill definately make it the last on my list. Completely agree that BioWare totally copped out on this one. It's like they added the Talimance at the last minute to appease us and hope that we would be "ok" with it.

I don't know but they definitely pulled a Master Chief on us.  But I guess romancing her makes it not sting as much.

I kind of knew they were going to do that to us and in some way it's even quite funny. I just hope they give us some relief later in the story.

It is probably the ultimate in teasing... either that, or they could not decide on the design of Quarian faces. Seriously, wtf. I'm really put off by this, since the face is the most important thing... decisions, decisions. Perhaps this, then a New Game + with another character.

Oh yeah, waiting for a PC camhack. There's probably going to be another mask underneath though. Because good developers seem to like to troll:lol:

It's implied to be happening. The camera only shows their bodies. You can't see their faces as its going on.

Really like how they do it. BW managed to save mystery, and that's cool. The final scene is so classy IMO.

TBH, I find the sex scenes a little pointless. It's too bad if they decided not to go that route with Tali I guess.
