Is anyone else worried that you won't be able to romance Tali if you have a Ashley or Liara romance from the first game?  I know everyone is preparing a "no romance" option but I went to a lot of trouble to get my Renegade Shepard just the way I liked him and I don't really want to go through all of those decisions again just ten days or so before Mass Effect 2.

Still, I don't know how they'd manage to make it believable Tali would help you cheat.  Yet that's how the developers have phrased it.

Eh, they confirm what they choose to confirm. It's all part of their marketing plan. I don't find it strange at all. I mean, they've still refused to confirm the final 4 squad members. We know who they are already, but they still won't admit to it. The whole thing is a little silly. EA has PR reps standing over every interview. It's standard procedure, but it sure is annoying.

Could be Anderson or Chakwas, who knows?

i doubt Anderson is a romance and chakwas was confirmed not being a romance^_^

Do what im doing right now. Choose your best end save set the game to casual and take it for Tali!

Being a cheater can cause horrible relationship problems even with the one your cheating with. (Trust issues to be exact. As they say once a cheater always a cheater even if it's just once.) I wouldn't put it past bioware to bring that train down as hard as they can. I bet they are grinning all over the subject in fact. (They eve DARED us to cheat a challenge so to speak so they can beat us down when we least expect it) I wan't nothing bad between me and Tali you shouldn't either. Imagine her breaking up with you in ME 3 JUST because you were a cheater! *shiver*

When you run into Tali, you've been missing for two years. We still don't know what will happen when you run into your former LI, but it doesn't really matter. You are going on a suicide mission. It doesn't seem odd to me that you might find some comfort with on of your squad mates before the final battle, just like in ME1.

I mean, it's not like Liara and I are married, or something. We had one night together.

Still Tali is in my opinion the most innocent one of the bunch and it's still wrong... bah im a paragon though and have yet to be able to change my frame of mind.... I still wouldn't put it past bioware to make things fall apart. In case you havn't noticed, they have an evil side.

My main save is saving himself all for Tali, true paragon and gave Tali the Geth Data


He's totally ready for some snuggling with Tali

I'm waiting 'til next monday (a week until the midnight release) to make my perfect character.

I wait until so close because I don't wanna be going crazy from waiting in the final days, I'll be making two profiles, a Renegade no-LI Soldier MaleShep (totally sweet to Tali), and a Paragon Liara-LI Adept FemShep.

I think that's the best way to fully experience ME2.

I'm not sure I follow you. Do you have reservations of cheating on your LI from the first game or does the problem stem from her being "innocent"?

I'm doing a playthrough right now with all my normal descions just staying single for the fact if Tali is romanceable. If it's the latter, have you ever brought her with you to Feros? "I hope that ship was full of those geth bastards!" On a related note, she supports the genocide of sentient beings. And she carries a knife. Sure we never see her use it, but it's safe to assume she doesn't use it for whittling. I really want to paragon Tali like you could Garrus. But no, Tali isn't innocent anymore than a LI.

Plus she's 24 (22 in ME1) you officially stop being innocent after 18.

I hope she's still innocent in the OTHER sense though...T.T
