Good build. I prefer to put 6 ranks in the healing turret and 3 in the shield though. I find the shield very situational to spend 6 ranks there. I have found 3 ranks is enough to block the occasional atlas rocket and whatnot. Then I try to use walls and doorways as much as possible.
I usually do 3 in shield & 5 in turret. So I'm curious to see how this works & what MB has to say, his advice has been very helpful in the past; always nice to try different builds (especially from talented/valid sources).

Stops stagger locking from Dragoons, which can be a pain, so you can hit them with the Reeger.

Yes... because the Spitfire is such a great close quarters weapon. When you're being staggered by Banshee/Praetorian swipes... the Spitfire is what you want... yeah... right...
Yeah, I tend to stay out of range by not using close range weapons. Silly me.
And I thought these guides were good for PUGs. The last thing Id do is put a Reegar in a PUGs hand.

That's my only point of contention, and it's mainly a style over substance argument.
I prefer the Pulse option on Hex Shield since this has a slight stagger/knockback effect. It helps when you get surrounded to get a bit of breathing room. It also primes targets for tech bursts when followed up with Siege Pulse.
Also, If you have Cryo or Incendiary ammo, you can drop shield and prime, SP for tech burst, follow up with ammo (Cryo or Inc) then Siege Pulse again for Cryo or Fire Explosion. By this time, the Hex Shield should be down and recharged, rinse repeat.
Extra marks to Mega for mentioning the importance of Shield Recharge. I used to overlook this too. But when you get hit and your shields regenerate within a second or two, that is huge.
Great video guys with very good editing. I also liked how you cut to show video examples of the issue Mega was explaining. It helps connect the dots.

Effectively I could not play for weeks because of a bug; it seems to be working now but I am a rusty MP player now, a shadow of my former self. A bit of practice might help, we should still do the duo.

I said it on the video, and I'll say it again. Skipping 6b is a bad call. The passives more than make up for it. I kill things quickly and am able to tank while having his maximum shields. Don't skip 6b in Fitness.
I used to use the turret, I don't anymore so I use a 6/6/0/6/6 build. Actually I took mega's recommendation on that one, to use the hex shield (not to omit the turret thoroughly, but I adopted not using it to the way I play it) and use a siege pulse/shield as my CQC choices. As described above, its awesome for mobs and will obliterate even Phantoms (don't know how many in total but Ive bottlenecked a handful of Phantoms and Dragoons with it and none of them walked out alive after 4 pulses) with just a couple of pulses when they walk through it. Incendiary ammo is why I love the Spitfire on him. You can just stand, spray and explode all the things.
If I don't have to, I avoid CQC like the plague and keep moving from soft cover to soft cover. SA and target prioritization (which I don't know if mega mentioned) is something learned and not simply taught in a video, which is one of the reasons I cant stand when people use carbon copy builds they see in videos. Setup may be awesome, but if you suck at the game, you suck at the game.

Light melee solves all your Phantom/'goon problems (stagger so you can back up and shoot) or heavy melee if there's only 1... walking backwarks slowly, throwing out a hex shield and shooting the Spitfire solves almost all other problems. Of course, you could just Reegar/Incendiary ammo your way out - but using a Quarian weapon on a Geth platform - fie I say, fie on thee with great spite!
I have to use the Spitfire on the Juggy, it's like some kind of compulsion. I take 6b and suffer a 15% damage reduction but then take the small hex shield to get back 10%. Always use incendiary ammo and clear mobs by detonating the fire with Siege Pulse.
I'm not going to say it's the most efficient way to use the class - but I have topped the scoreboard on a platinum game with it when my 3 team-mates were all infiltrators (I figured with 3 infils, if I'm going to be a decoy, I'm going to be a really, really big decoy) so it's not completely without damage potential.
My tips would be use Incendiary ammo, remember there's a LIGHT melee as well as a heavy one.

Interesting. I would prefer the PPR/Hurricane combo to a Reegar/Lancer combo for the lower CD. This way, I can pop the turret every few seconds for a fast shield recharge.
He's also really good with the geth plasma shotgun

I use the 4a evo for hex shields for the same reason I don't take duration. Its worthless because its shot down. Since I get blasted by Prime and scion blasts since it goes right through, I prefer regular soft cover and then I can use siege pulse for mobs because dayum, you can wipe out 3-4 Phantoms and Dragoons with a quick volley when they walk through the shield.
Hex Shield now block Prime siege pulses.
