Great guide Mega look forward to more.

I want to do one for the Drell Infiltrator w/ Raider... and Mobius wants to do one video which shows all 4 Volus at the same time (he is a great Volus player).

You admitted to spending all your time retreating and avoiding CQC encounters... it sounds to me like the battlefield controls you entirely... and that you play the Juggernaut like a coward. Just sayin'....

Embrace the Dark Lord... and (s)he shall set you free...

Interesting. I would prefer the PPR/Hurricane combo to a Reegar/Lancer combo for the lower CD. This way, I can pop the turret every few seconds for a fast shield recharge.

Hide behind the shield and keep shooting... this is my preferred way to recharge shields.

Those a great weapon choices though.

With the turret, I can get 700 shields every 2+ seconds.  I do use the Hex Shield but with only 3 ranks invested.  Your way also works well.  In fact, I used to have 5 ranks in Hex Shield before changing it recently.

If the reegar doesn't meet your fancy, try the venom.  Equally as great if you get overrun.

Both of them sound like good ideas to me, and I know I could learn a thing or two from the volus ones...

Watched it. Still sticking with my fully defensive 66606 build. I deal damage just fine with good weapons, ammo/weapon mods/gear, and ammo-primed power combos.

This is the build I use and often top the scoreboard with, plus I think it's the most fun. I keep my power sheild and turret out and use PPR X and reegar X w/ incendiary ammo and detonate explosions with SP. I've solo'd gold with this build and made it to wave 9 on platinum. I have solo'd platinum with a 3/5/6/6/6.

But anyway good job mega, hopefully people will stop meleeing the whole game

I did the same thing with a Geth Pulse Rifle last night... outscoring PUGs proves nothing, you know this... it's been proven time after time.

Do the same thing with 3 Spectre class players in the lobby... then your argument will hold water.

Cyclonic III or IV w/ no damage penalty > 6b fitness + 15% global damage penalty + Adrenaline IMO

I do not even understand how Gallow can use this screenshot to validate his point tbh. Survival on gold is hardly a challenge with the Juggernaut, no matter how you spec it. Then he doesn't even break the 200k mark against Cerberus with all the juicy point-bags units in 30+ minutes with half a team.

I have seen a few Juggernauts score 200k+ on platinum in games that lasted </=20 minutes with 4 useful teammates, you NEED an offensive, in-your-face build to achieve that. No question.

If you need full fitness to be immortal with the Jugger, then you should really considere paying attention to Mega's guide.

Megabeast, I'm surprised at you!

Your commentary didn't mention anything about the Juggernaut's amazing ability to high-five people!

For what? I PUG. Always. Im built for durability not equipping my kits with cyclonics. I can play Platinum just fine with my Spitfire.

If I was playing with like skilled or better skilled players than me, than hell yeah, I don't need fitness and can equip accordingly. I use shield III on a Gold jug. Incendiary Ammo, and anywhere from an AR1 to an ARIII amp with either stronghold or juggernaut gear. 20 headshots with a spitfire Ill take over any day with a lolreegar.

I haven't read a guide on this crappy site or seen a video. Sure I can follow mega's guide, cause Im experienced and have SA and knowledge of the game. PUGs wont. THis guide wont help them with that. Or any guide.

EDIT:: You chastise me on fitness, yet most of mega's guides require crutch cyclonic mods....oy

Try this off-host with a full team.  (I've used the offensive Hex Shield/Siege Pulse build before.)

I always play off host. I never host. That's why I mention ravager blasts go through the shield and Scion blasts.

WOW...watched your guy's vid when I got home from work... One of my first Plat matches was when you helped me beat collectors for Lodestar MegaBeast... Just breezed thru 3 Plats, in a decent lobby. The Top guy was ahead by 40-50k each game, but us bottom 3 were within 10 k of each other.

I went super cheese with the Harrier X and Reeger X but it felt good to play so offensively with the Jugg... Only melee'd to survive, or help a teammate.

Nice!
Cain, your Asari Justicar tut got me gold ready, been playing there ever since... I think this is my gateway into Plat.

I don't understand where playing with like skilled people time and time again is better than playing PUGs. That's laughable. You have 4 team mates to get through 11 waves together. A squad that knows what they are doing, communicate and are experienced makes this game childs play. That's somehow a challenge?

Ive played with a few Spectre's already. Nothing special. Just another team mate in my book.

This is true... another forgotten awesome tip.

Everytime I watch these vids, I am always reminded more of what I forgot than anything else.

One thing I forgot to mention is how to use the shield to partition/isolate enemies in a Platinum match... that's a big one IMO.

You're missing the point (on purpose I believe). You sitting there saying how your strategy for playing the Juggy is awesome... I said anything will work in competent hands with incompetent players allowing you to score high. Then I suggested trying your strategy in a game with 3 other good players (to see if you still score so high)... because you won't. It's your garbage team that let you stroke your epeen... not your chicken $#it Juggy playstyle.

The game isn't a challenge anyway... especially on LOLgold (where you play all the time) regardless of team composition. Besides... I never said anything about challenging, you did. If I want a challenge I'll play the RNG game, PUG lottery or the Thunderdome.

Your knock in the Spectre group is weak... try again.
