Well, manual dexterity is a part of ME3MP though. So if that part alone makes him better than someone with a more extensive knowledge of the game well... Good for him I guess. It means that manual dexterity is more important than game knowledge in this game, to a certain extent. He's still a better player even though it's only because of that, in my opinion.

That said, I was simply saying that the OP needs to provide two fixed points, otherwise nothing has meaning here.

If 10 is Jay or Stentron, not much changes to be honest. What I'd like to know is what is the other point.

Well when Team Tron was doing the 1M point challenge, Stentron kept up with Jay at about 350K, Lord Sirian had about 250K and RedJohn was on like 150. If he has the smarts to keep up with a human aimbot, that says a lot about him.

but remember knowledge and skill dont mean s*** against broken game mechanics.. tis all about luck.

like enemys spawning behind you or sync kills the instant you come in contact with a boss unit.(this also means right after a phantom stuns you with her melee and not giving you time to react by deciding to sync kill you while your staggering)
 
insta stomp, enemys showing no mercy, stomping you while waiting for a medic or deciding to gel but not able to because an enemy off screen of the bloody birds eye camera angle that wont allow the player to get a good view of his/her surroundings resulting in an unnesessary death.

anyways... im a 6.9

But yeah, when the game decides to throw BS at you, sometimes there's little to nothing you can do about it.<_<

I extract all the time when I play with at least one buddy on my FL. I can play pretty much any kit. 9000/10 ???
In all honesty, I don't know, maybe 7/8.

edit: I'm 7/8 up to gold. On plat, I'm miserable, like 4/5.

Best player is 10. Complete noob is a 0. Solid gold player is a 5 (yes most of the playerbase resides at 3 to 4). You can differentiate 6-10 as you like.  

Edit: All this is for the sake of argument, the numbers are essentially meaningless to me. 

Then if I am to put aside modesty and judge as objectively as I can, I'd say I'm a 9. At least, I was a 9 when I used to play regularly. Now my skills might have... Shrinked a bit

I'm sure Stentron's awesome. We've been on each other's friendlist for a while now, but sadly I don't even know who's playing less among us. My judgement of Jay being a better player was mainly based on the way Stentron himself has always been talking about Jay, not much more. But I do believe that the best player isn't equal to the most knowledgeable player. Aim is part of the game, I'm sure you know that

Well, there's a balance between natural skill and metagame knowledge.  Stentron and Xcal are both beasts but pale in comparison with natural aimbot like accuracy (though they are freakishly close).  Jay seems to be fairly knowledgeable with the game, too. 

When you see Xcal using tricks in his vids, like Meleeing for DR or other type quick thinking situational knowledge, it is equally impressive.

I'd go so far as to rate each of them a 10.

You are really mad about this? No one actually brings this up until you started to mention this. It is just a group. If you don't like them fine, but don't expect us to do nothing when you start saying stuff. Get over it. Nothing will change with complaining and in the end it makes you a little person.

here is how I would scale it personally:

1-Just started playing and gets downed a lot in bronze.
2-confident bronze player, can maybe solo with a great build.
3-can solo bronze with any kit
4-silver newbie
5-confident silver player
6-again can solo silver with any kit

here is where it gets odd in my mind, because the playerbase gets a bit blurred with gold and platinum. Also once you can solo silver with any kit you are pretty much gold ready imo.

7-confident gold player, can almost solo gold and can carry most gold teams.
8-confident gold solo player and ok platinum player, but not with all kits.
9-confident platinum player, can solo gold with any kits and can solo platinum with their favourite kits.
10-platinum solo player, any kit, any map, any level character and any weapon. Can carry any team.

Versatility boosts players up, the best infiltrator might not be great with adepts.

I'd say I'm just scraping a 7

Too loose.  Too many people fall under higher categories.  I'd consider myself a 9 in that regard, but I doubt I'm as good as many of the "top players"

i was playing on ps3 yesterday..i found out that geth can be hard but you know whats hitting you.

lol yesterday i was playing ps3... silent enemys.. and also laaaaaaag at extraction where we wouldnt extract after  2 minutes but after like 5 minutes..
