In the final scene with Tali and Veetor where Tali protests Veetor being taken to the Illusive Man, you have an option of offering Tali to go with you instead of taking Veetor and leave.

What are the effects of this if you *do not* offer?  Does it change any lines at all in ME2?

Does she just not mention that she wishes she'd have gone with Shepard when you first made the offer?
Does it cause Tali to be unrecruitable?
Does it later affect any lines in the third game?

Asking Tali to come with you changes nothing in the game.

Taking Tali's Omni Tool or giving Veetor to Cerberus will have a small effect on Tali's trial later in the game.

Sorry, mind filled in blanks that wasn't there.

Was asking if *not* asking Tali to join you during the freedom's progress quest would change anything.

It does not matter if you ask her or not.

Not even a throw away line or a change to the dialogue wheel from "Can you join me now?" to something else?

I don't think there are any throw away lines for it. Only thing from Freedom's Progress that is reflected is whether the rally crowd option has Veetor healthy and helpful.

I see.

Thanks!
