Maybe Mordin planted a camera so he can take note of their interspecies relations.

It's actually quite interesting to see how people's opinion varies on the ME1 characters - how some people can find them so fascinating yet others find them boring and dull.

Take Tali for instance - she was a character that I rarely took with me because I just didn't find her interesting at all. The conversation options with her only seemed to serve as an encyclopaedia on quarian life as opposed to getting in depth with her character. Yeah, so you learn a little about her family (in social context) and how she feels about the Geth (in historical context) but they didn't show off enough of her personality for me to be really interested in her character.

Then of course I come to these boards and see 80+ length threads on Tali Love, and realise that there are (a lot!) of people who have taken something totally different from her character than I have. (And not just the hips!)

I think different characters just appeal to different people, and obviously the writers set out to do this so it just shows that it works. While we might see Garrus as a morally-conflicted, paragade ex-cop with an interesting background, others might see him as a boring turian who moans about his job too much.

Opinions, eh?

Forgive me, I really -am- a Garrus fan, but all I could think about when I saw that youtube vid was the possibility for the hilariously awful. Especially when it comes to what sorts of sounds they're used to... Damn damn I thought that I will ressist this damn thread and not comment oh jeez  hoping for continuation of that relationship in ME3 tho! If they going to screw this I ll give up Bioware games then, I swear *blushes*.
