It's soooo tempting to read the rest of that spoiler too, but I think that's due to my profession. I'm rarely interested in the surprise, but the meaning and motivations behind the surprise. I prefer analysis and understanding over shock.

I tend to stay away from the main storyline's spoilers, it ruins for me. But, I can continue squealing and dancing around over Garrus, happily or out of my stupidness.

I stand by my statement, that ME was lacking hugs. I think Saren and the Reapers just needed one and a pat on the head and we would have been all okay
