You could get a Facebook, join the Garrus Rules Fanclub.  I figure since people seemed to like my singing, I might do an encore of "Hell Frozen Rain" for those of you who missed me the first time.  I'm a big sang of Silent Hill music honestly, mostly because it's very memorable.  I'm not quite as good with pop music as I'd like.

Just to give everyone a heads-up, this is Rioteous posting under my alt account. It looks like I had botched the Blood Dragon Armor entry in DA:O and instead of tying it to my existing BioWare account, I created a new one. So my Rioteous account was all screwy. I'm not sure which I'll stick with, but I think I'll be posting with this one from here on out in case there's going to be stat tracking and stuff for ME2.

Edit: And...urgh... Almost finished with this "perfect" playthrough.  Only Therum, Virmire, and Ilos to go...every collection quest and UNC mission is finished and I'll only have a couple of sidequests to go on lockdown. *collapses*

Gah, when I preordered my mass effect collectors edition from futureshop, they told me call the day before to ensure that I'll get it on tuesday, so I called and apparently THEY ALREADY HAVE THE PREORDERS! It's awful, my copy of the game is only 20 minutes away and I can't get it because of a stupid release date. I want to romance Garrus now. the next 18 hours or so until I get the game are going to be awfull

Same here, My M-Shep hit 60, and is on his last playthrough, the one I'll use.

My Fem-Shep however still has to be worked on, but I'm going to cheat a bit to get her to 60, no matter tedious it is.

'Bout the only thing it's suffering now is a jittery steering wheel, but thank GOD it's drivable. Lord, I was sooo worried I had a crapped-out alternator and I'd have to pay out hundreds to get it fixed.  SO relieved.  Now I can focus on enjoying the heck out of ME2 and GARRUS! Woohoo!

Yeah, it's definitely tedious when you try to get a complete playthrough.  I'm on Virmire now.  I'll have those two lockdown quests and then on to Ilios and my perfect-run Shep is through.  I'll finish various playthroughs later, but I'll at least have this one that will help me kick off ME2.

Ashley! \\:D/ Thanks, I'm very relieved with the car.  Now here's hoping it survives the drive to Gamestop and then back again. XD

I feel for you, having biology tomorrow...I wouldn't have the discipline to wait. :3  Hanful of years back I even skipped class just to pick up my PS3 on launch day...not that I had tests or something to complete. ^^;

So, back to Garrus. Does anyone think BioWare did what they did to him to mess with us? Like they were so surprised at his fanbase that they were like "Hmm.. how can we make them squirm?"

Maybe.  It didn't work on me--personally, I thought it just made him more of an epic badass   The conspiracy theorist in me says they did it in an attempt to shove us toward Thane or Jacob; I don't actually believe my own conspiracy theory, but it's a funny thought.

Can't make things too good for the gals. =/  But he's a badass so he can carry those scars and still hold his head up. :3 Besides...even with them, he's still the sweet, adorable, sexy, badass Garrus we know and love. And I think it does add an interesting twist to things.  He's a good guy even though he might not look it. ^^

Me too. Every time I see that vid where it happens, my heart gets all tight and I'm like, "oh, nooo, not Garrus..." And I see him with the scars and how he tries to brush it off and I feel sad but he's so endearing about it trying to act tough like it doesn't bother him.  *sighs*
