Go fast replay ME! hehe... Naaah I think it won't influence at all even if it will, then will probably be possible to change. Damn how I fooled myself. Thought ME3 is coming tomorrow in Europe for me but must w8 till friday hahaha. How that happened xD?? Omg I am diening... lol pwned myself, feel worse now with all this "more" waiting.

Anyone know how early into the game we get Garrus? I mean, I'm coming home from school early tomorrow (just two more midterm exams to get through), and I'm worried that, in the nine-ish hours I'm going to play Mass Effect 2, I won't see enough Garrus.

Ahahaha! XD Yeah, we would. :3 We love you, devs, we really do...but as I'm sure you can tell...we're rabid about that wonderful turian you created. >:3

And: Yay! Finished my playthrough! All that's left is to leave for GameStop in a couple of hours. ^^

Hmm, I've just thought of something that's true for all of the alien romance options in ME2. They are all under considerable "distress" for lack of a better way of putting it. All very much people who desperately need someone to turn to for help, or is that just me? Someone earlier was worried that the Garrus romance might just be a "friends with benefits" thing and that all these romances might just be flings, but I don't think that's the case. "Desperately needing help" and "turning to the only person who can offer it" is a way to establish a legitimate non-fling romance that doesn't HAVE to be permanent. Such a romance might be forced to end but it will still have been very "real" and "genuine." Do you see what I think the devs are doing here? Killing two birds with one stone. Some people may not be happy with this, but I think it's a great way to stay true to these already realized characters, Bioware's vision for the trilogy as a whole, and the demands of fans. I think it will be very interesting...and does anyone else desperately want to give Garrus a hug? I think he needs one pretty bad.

I desperately want to give him a hug.  He's acting so tough to try and cover it up, but he seems like he's pretty wounded, for all his bravado.  It was heartbreaking watching that one vid where he converses with Shepard.  As Kelly (Airlocked) said...I just want to hold him in my arms and whisper in his ear "it'll be okay." 

But yeah, it seems like most of the alien romances have something tragic going on.  I mean...look at Thane.  That's Carth 3.0 right there. ^^; It's like BW has this formula where they have to tear at the hearts of the fangirls with tragic romances.  I sincerely hope Garrus isn't forcibly stripped from us in ME3.  I can live with his death being a possibility due to our poor decsisions in game, but I would hate it if BW forced his death.

God, I'm so jealous of all of you and your, ya know, ability to play the game. That being said, I have been systematically spoiling all the Garrus bits for myself via the Internets.



And let's just say that even without the romance, you won't be disappointed. EPIC GARRUS IS EPIC. So incredibly epic. And (for a very teensy spoiler) you get to hear Garrus laugh. It's the most amazing sound in the universe.

I thought about some kind of sweet Garrus inspired lyric lovelyness to post here. But with my package now traveling from Reno, NV to Blacksburg, VA, I could only think of one thing.



We're leaving together,

Considering that we form a great deal of the fanbase, give me leave to doubt Bioware callously disposing of Garrus in ME3. And just so you know, our esteemed Turian gentleman has his own share of male admirers as well.

Indeed it is- isn't it mentioned that they live an average of 40 years? Assuming 40 human years = 80 Salarian years (not unreasonable, I would think), that would make Mordin a centenarian- though with advances in medical science extending human life to over a century, I should think that Mordin has also taken similar measures to prolong his lifespan.

Was just surfing YouTube when it hit me (yes I couldn't keep from spoiling myself). Garrus romance vids are the ONLY FemShep vids out there right now. No one is going after Thane or Jacob...<uncontrollable giggles>



I feel vindicated by this fact somehow.

I'm heading straight for Omega. I think I will get Mordin first though. I have a level 60 perfect playthrough and want to use those minerals and credits for something useful right off the bat.



I hope I get an extra power. I want an Adept with Disruptor Ammo on an SMG. That will be downright scary.
