Hey guys. Took me a while to get on the social

I am 100% Garrus and Shepard will have some sort of relationship, most likely romance. At least, I hope. It will be a total crime on BW's part if Tali is a LI and Garrus is stuck as a friend.

What will everyone do if Garrus is not a LI? Rage threads anyone?

Perhaps not rage threads, but I would be upset and... perhaps a little vocal to other Garrus fans.



And I'd just be forced to make up for all the lost potential by reading and writing tons of fic. Not that that won't happen when we all discover that he is a LI.

Thanks for the well-wishes! I'm definitely thinking Tali is an option at this point.  You don't market a romance vid and then feature non-romanceables (especially those that are well-known to have rabid and loyal fan-followings ).  That would be an amateur mistake, and neither BW nor X-Play are amateurs.  Still, I can understand the hesitancy. ^^

We'll know for sure soon enough, though.

Cause the Social site takes a lot on my net connection. I have satellite and the bytes aren't really free. So its hard to load a page. For some reason the social takes soooooo long to load. Thats why I wasn't lookin forward to them changing the forums to here.

Oh noes! Not the cake! What about the Garrus ice cream? 

If Garrus weren't a LI, I would romance Thane after crying and then probably play again just to romance Thane again. Then pass the game off to my brother or something. Before playing it again later on. Garrus would have me keep comin' back though. Sexy turians just have that effect on me

XD We're a bunch of crazy moodswingers. But it can't be helped when BW's dangling Garrus on the end of a string right in front of our faces. Quick teaser shots where they "accidentally" show him...comments that bring hope followed by comments that crush followed by comments that bring hope followed by...

Yeah.

But this close to release, and after what I've heard and read, I'm comfortable with accepting his status as an LI.

If Garrus turned out not to be a LI, well, I'd wonder just how sane the people at Bioware truly were. They've SEEN how many fans he has, and particularly how many people have been asking to romance him in one of the games. They'd have to be off their rockers NOT to throw us a bone... (Same thing with Tali.) Especially given the arsenal we've built up. Let's see, we have rachni, darkspawn, torches, pitchforks, and various weapons of mass destruction... Possibly a few medieval trebuchets, ballistas, and triremes.... Basically if it's pointy and/or can cause a lot of damage, we seem to have it.

Still, if he wasn't I'd just turn back to fanfiction in order to help fill the void. It won't ruin the game for me, but it would definitely turn me into a rather unhappy woman for a good while.

BW has done soooooooooooo much teasing for it to not happen. If Garrus is not a LI, then BW has officially become very cruel in my book.

No! I will never go to Samara love thread! I don't dislike her. I actually think she is very attractive, but because everyone says she'll take the place of Garrus....It just rubs me as wrong as Miranda's "I'm Perfect" statements.

This.  Indeed, our love for Garrus would have to be fulfilled by fanfiction and fanart.  But what a wasted opportunity it would be on BW's part.  No, even my gut's telling me he's in and I'm going to be optimistic about it until it's proven otherwise. ^^

I had a dream that an interrupt (during a conversation with Garrus) had the ability to full on assault Garrus with kisses. ....Such a happy dream. I thought it was a real video I was watching before I woke up! I hate those dreams. Also I had a dream about the inevitability of telling Liara I'm cheating with Garrus. Femshep: I'm just not that into blue. I know I said that it was my favorite color but...I was just trying to get into your pants. Come on, I always brought Garrus with me on my missions."

Thank you for the reassurance! Now I won't be afraid of being left alone! Oh my, should probably sleep for couple of hours. Although I do enjoy walking around the university looking like zombie...

If you had a LI in ME1 do you think that will bother Garrus? I mean he's pretty honorable, ruthless but honorable. Think it will bother him cause with the other characters, cept Tali, they have no clue what your status was. Garrus KNOWS if you were involved with someone.

I know I had a post in one of the last few pages that outlined it. XD Well...some of it. It's more like taking these pieces of a jigsaw puzzle and putting them together. ^^  If you're looking for something like dev confirmation, then no, nothing like that.  Just lots of pieces that, when put together, make a beautiful picture of Garrus.

And why do all these people have such wonderful dreams? My brain hates me. *faceplants on desk*

Aww, no, don't feel alone.  I won't go anywhere either.  Heck, I've been waiting since ME1.  If I was gonna jump ship to another LI, I'd have done it by now instead of clinging to Garrus (and he sure is wonderfully "clingable." ).

*sigh* It's a sad fate, but Garrus is worth it.  Oh, if only he were real... Then again, if he were real that would mean a lot of things that probably wouldn't be very good.  Like the reapers.  And the fact that he'd probably not really be interested in any of us. XD

I don't care the slightest about betraying Kaidan or Liara. They just weren't for me (I know, why the hell then romance both of them?? Because I'm a mean sicko?*snif* xD) But I'm worried about Garrus. Never would I do it for him but he might not believe me...and part of me hopes that. I wonder if he'd bring it up.  For example: "I thought you were already in a relationship with "so-and-so," which would probably serve as your opportunity to start the romance or end it if you accidentally triggered it.

And Garrus doesn't seem like the kind of guy who'd want to share, but then that's just pure speculation on my part.  I think it would make sense considering the type of individual he seems to be, though. ^^
