No, no. Don't worry. He's still good 'ol Garrus. He's just way more mature and seasoned. Years have passed and that's totally believable. I'm a dude so I don't know if he's sexy, but sure as hell he's damn charming.

I'm a guy, and I must also raise the flag in support of my best bro Garrus. He's definitely still him, but you get more of a "grown man" vibe from him, rather than the "young adult" vibe he used to give off. He's nice, but he's also ready to take care of business. Essentially: Garrus is still nice, but he's not afraid to take care of business. In one word? Awesome.

I figured they would age him. He did seem sort of green in the first game. After all the mess with Saren and then losing Shepard and who knows what happened to him after that - it'd be more than enough to mature the guy. They did the same thing with Tali, it seems.

Everyone's extremely well-written though. Not a single line in the game is wasted. I couldn't find a single shallow or uninteresting character so far. Jacob is great, Miranda is great. Tali's A++, Garrus is buckets of awesome.
If I could just get my Shepard in place of that default Vanderloo, it would be pure bliss.

Now that's extremely good news.  *sigh* Only problem is...it's still the 21st. T-T

Did you all read that little article thing with Samara's picture on it? They mentioned someone having a secret thing for Shepard. Tali/Garrus, maybe? Everyone else seems too overt to have an ~omg secret crush.~

I know, right? I'm especially glad to have him as he is now, because in Mass Effect 1, while Garrus was Jack's (My Shepard) best friend, it was more of a "Let me show you the ropes" kind of thing. For example, let's say I were to have popped a sniper round into a Krogan's face in Mass Effect 1. Garrus would have said "Excellent shot Commander, think you can show me how to do it?" In Mass Effect 2, Garrus will say "Decent shot Shepard. I'll bet you a beer I can do better."

Are you sure they meant it in a romantic way? They could have been referring to Legion being the creepy stalker that he is.

But yeah, my only other guess would be Tali or Garrus. The other squadmates haven't known Shepard long enough to develop any sort of lingering secret crush.
