Bahahaha, that may be so, Jellobell, that may be so. Good thing i'm looking towards Miranda as my Love Interest. She's gonna be an interesting one.. So many layers to crack, to the vulnerable woman beneath.. But this is not the topic of our discussion.

Garrus certainly has matured, speaking as someone who's seen the entirety of his recruiting venture, which seems to take about 2 hours or so, assuming you do everything available there is to do. 

I think the thing I really like about Garrus is that, while he might not have originally given off that "I'm too cool" vibe that Thane does (And let me tell you, Garrus certainly does now), he was one of the few characters that really felt like he had a soul. I could really sympathize, and be friends with Garrus. And now that Garrus has graduated for the Mass Effect 2 School of Badassness ™, I have a feeling he and I are going to get into some very cool, and very hilarious shenanigans.

That's very encouraging, thanks.  I've been looking forward to ME2 because I anticipated that it would feature the growth of Garrus as a character, which was begun in ME1 with the "mentoring" relationship that Shep and Garrus had. It seems that they're on a more equal footing now.
I really hope that we can have some sort of R&R time with a squadmate of our choice, I can think of some pretty funny scenarios with Garrus and Shepard.

It really is a fantastic combination, I think, because the real weakness of the Vanguard, that I can tell, based on everything we've seen, is that you really have to be able to get Charge (<- It restores shields!) and the Shotgun going quickly, because if you don't, you might be in trouble, if you don't kill the guy, or are surrounded. Not so, however, with Garrus there. Didn't get that guy's health low enough? Garrus has got your back. Didn't notice that guy behind you when you Charged? Don't worry, Garrus did.

Yes! My main is Vanguard and she gets her guardian back! I had this terrible habit of not paying attention to what was behind me. Thank god for Garrus! *Squee*

Watching a Krogan rugby game on Tuchanka with Garrus, Grunt, Wrex and Thane. Man.
Oh, and plenty of drinking of course.

Then going back to the ship, let Tali vent, go to sleep,  and ask Chakwas the next day for something against the hangover.

What a wonderful crew.

ANYWAY, I also like the idea of spending some spare time with our squadmates. Krogan Rugby? Heeeelll yes! I'm more hoping for some during mission dialogue, myself. Can you imagine all the interesting cracks an adult Garrus, who's been spending his time solo against Mercs, must have to say? Can you say, hilarious over the shoulder commentary? Cause I sure can. He really is funny now. I can't really tell you guys the funniest thing he's said, without giving any spoilers away, but it was pretty damn funny.

Krogan Rugby, wow I can't even begin to imagine that. It's funny that you mentioned Shepard+all the guys, since my main shep's a female, though I think she'd fit in nicely during a boys night out, she's not exactly into feminine hobbies. Plus, hanging around the ship with Miranda and Samara sounds boring in comparaison.

Judging from what I understood, it seemed like it was a few months, that he was alone, BUT, just wait until you hear what he was up to while he was alone. He was only holed up in that place you see in the video recently. Good. Lord. He's accumulated quite the impressive mission log, let me tell you. I'm half-ready to believe he's trying to make my Shepard look bad, with his frakkin trophy list.

... Oh my goodness. You're getting me more hyped up about his character development than I already was. Which is astounding, to say the least. I didn't know it was even possible. Ol' Shep will show him that being dead for two years doesn't rust up a guy/gal like him/her, though. Ahh, Shepard's going to be so proud.

Hey, i'm just relaying what i've seen. I could go right out, smack you all in the face with so powerful a moment of awesomeness, it would blow your unprepared minds. But i'm a nice guy, so I will not. From what my friend's told me, Garrus only gets even more cool, as time goes by. Also, may I say, you're all so very awake and friendly. It's refreshing. I'm half afraid to even go on Tali threads...

I think Shepard became a kind of mentor and idol for Garrus.  Then he/she dies so he goes out and tries to emulate him to the best of his ability.

Also in the launch trailer.  You think the person sliding over the cliff could be anybody and not just Tali?  What if its always your love interest????  OUUUU Epic Slide, save Garrus....SQUEEEEEE

Would you be able to PM this "powerful moment of awesomeness" to someone who asks very nicely?
And are Tali fans really so scary? They never struck me as such, though I admit I don't go over there very often.

Never been to a Tali thread. I imagine it to be near overwhelming in it's enthusiasm. Your postings on Garrus' character make me giddy again. Now I shall never be able to focus on anything save Garrus for...four days. lol
