Alright, the wait's gonna be even more painful now... If that's even possible...

 This is just killing me. It's 12:00 pm around here, so over there you all must be sleeping. I woke up at 9 and I've been reading the replies since last night (i think it was page 45), trying to catch up.

First "good" news, then horrifying news I'm not sure I want to hear, then good rumours again, but there is rumours, rumours, rumours...



Nobody can tell anything specific?

What the hell happened to Tali?
What does "Master Chief'd" mean? Was the poster refering to the mask, or to what happened to Master Chief at the end of Halo 3? : (

Are the "bad news" set in stone, permanent, irreversible?


I think I won't be happy until confirmation reaches 100%. As I won't be playing the game the next week...  I'm gonna need your guidance, people.

 Yeah, I know. But everyone gets so excited, you could swear they KNOW things 100%.
It's hard to discuss without saying what's being discussed, and that in my opinion would be important right now, because private messages aren't just the same thing. I want to hear people say their opinions, theories, whatever...

I'd like to be informed, but so far I don't know what exactly we (garrus fans) know. If there is some solid evidence I'd like to see it.

But what I really want to know, what I really want somebody to tell me is: "Don't worry, Nissun. Garrus can live in the end. It is possible, not inevitable."

@Nissun: No specifics for us yet. Tali has apparently been confirmed on a live feed somewhere (I think), and given how the devs always seemed to talk about her and Garrus at the same time, most of us are taking it as a very good sign. 'Master Chief'd,' I'm guessing, means the mask never comes off, which... well, you can see how that might put a bit of a damper on some people's enthusiasm.
And there's an achievement that suggests you can get all 10 squad members through the ending if you're motivated enough, so don't worry!

 Allright then.  I sneaked into a Tali thread (i didn't want to in case I was spoiled something) and figured out. That doesn't seem so bad for me, after all. I see it as the logical choice.

And I knew about the achievements, it's just that... I'm worried.

I'm gonna buy the game when it comes out the 27th, 28th, or whenever. I don't care if I later have to buy the Collector's edition too. I just don't care, I can't wait till the 4th.

Trust me, the Tali romance is so squee worthy I was, "awwing" at like everything. Nissun, you won't care about the mask. Trust me. It is so amazingly sweet, you won't notice.

I think I didn't express myself right, because I'm 100% ok with Tali's mask! In fact, I wouldn't be very happy if they revealed how she looks.
I look forward to it, but I never was as interested in her romance as I am in Garrus.

I don't have 70€ to spend on a game myself... My brother and I were gonna buy the CE together, but I can't wait till the 4th. 70€ is a lot of money for me right now. But it may be worth it, considering my brother and I won't be sharing games and the XBox much longer. And I was saving money for a netbook, but seeing as we won't be getting a Wifi connection soon, ther is no point in saving 70€... Definitely, I'll buy it as soon as I can.

Now that you're sharing your main themesongs, I have at least three themesongs in my head for both my Jennifer Shepard and Garrus because of the lyrics and song I've listened to quite fits alot with their romance to be honest.

^I'm more of the metalhead but when I heard this song in my dad's car (they got the CD of her, so xD), I find the lyrics and song quite touching and I feel that it also fits Garrus and Shepard well.
