Well, now I see why Hurricane + Acolyte is a taboo 'round these parts. Anyway, I like using him with the Typhoon. The charge on the Acolyte kind of kills it for me. Granted, I've only used it on a few Adepts, but shooting lots of bullets out of a really big gun sounds more appealing.

yeah hurricane acolyte deals with shields and armor super efficiently both in terms of TTK and weight and such. Key is to charge beforehand and release it whilst sprinting and immediately burning things to death lol.
I understand, having tried the typhoon on my friend's PC it was quite amazing .
