[Homey C-Dawg]

 This is my first custom male Shepard ever (though my FemShep is custom and somewhere in this thread). Was looking at my facial features while making him. Kinda wish I'd picked a different set of lips and I have bigger eyes (my eye shape isn't in the selection ), but oh well. He still looks slightly, kind of, almost somewhat similar to me if I squint my eyes hard enough.

His name is "I'm" and he's a sentinel.

Maybe because Bioware was kind enough to give us a detailed male default of an actual person but not for female Shepard?  Just a thought.  If I played as a male Shepard I'd just use Sheploo.  The female default is just a preset made in the character creator.  Almost all custom femsheps look better. 
Either way, if you look at the threads and the face website there are plenty of custom males.

All custom male Shepards look like dogs. That's the main reason.

So quoting yourself, custom female chars pretty much look mostly like the dogs as well. Like some small ones, poodle for example

I wasn't too happy with my Shepard I posted above, it looked weird from certain angles. This is the optimized version:






Comparing these and the previous pictures they look almost identical but there’s a huge difference from other camera angles. Both are made from scratch, funny how they turned out near identical.



We'll see how it looks in ME2. For now Tiia Shepard needs to stop Saren...

Feels rather weird after seven John Shepard play-troughs.

I do like the way the face gen thing is done in ME2, the code feature is nice. Faces also look much more real. I happened across some of my ME1 pics and dang, they can't be compared to what can be done in ME2. Wonder what will it be in ME3, hopefully they'll add more customization options and keep the face code feature.

Actually chose the name "Alexis" at random, and didn't find out until later that it means "Defender of Mankind," which seems fitting given the character's alignment with human-centric/Cerberus interests.

Right, as mentioned above, the Kasumi DLC will grant the "casual-wear" shown in the first photo. Pertaining to the ME1 Sliders, I surely cannot take credit, as Alexis is based on another creative person's original model. They are as follows:

Given disparities in the face editor palettes, the character may look slightly different in ME1. Thus, if you want to import into ME2, some changes to the hair and iris colors might be needed.
