Djeck is right. Thos mods do next to nothing for a fury. You definitely shouldn't waste a mod slot on them. The fact that Link never understood that (he used an adaptive amp gear back in the days of his solos) is possibly another confirmation that he's a hacker. Not a single one of the players who are at that level ignores how BEs work.

That said, Jk, I understand your feelings and I actually think you're keeping a good mentality, always trying to see good where there is not.

But in these videos there is no good, sadly.

I'd like to interject at this point. The data on Cyonan's sheets seems to be off. I've messaged him about it, but he hasn't replied so far. Hopefully he reads this.

I was playing lots of Solo Cerberus lately, and at some point went back and counted what units I killed and added up the values.

The wave budget numbers were all off.

According to Cyonan's sheets, wave 1 budget on gold is 600 and then increases by 120 every next wave. What I got, was:
Wave 1 budget: 550
Wave 2: 670
W3: (irrelevant, unlimited)
W4: 950 (and no Troopers appearing, although they should be, according to the spreadsheet)
W5: 1050
W6: (irrelevant, unlimited)
W7: 1360
W8: 1400
W9: 1500
W10&11: (irrelevant, unlimited)

In another recording, the numbers were off again and different, not matching up to the spreadsheet numbers either.

That's all I've got.

Cyonan's spreadsheet on wave budgets and compositions is definitely wrong. He still lists 3 Primes on wave 10 of Geth Gold for example.

Well thanks Deerber. :wub: I don't know that I have certain feelings about anything in particular, and maybe I just don't know enough about numbers and mechanics. I'm also not sure that people have noticed that I mentioned more than once that I don't know if any files were modded or not. Not arguing for or against anyone/thing, just making observations based on what I've experienced in the game.

So the power mag mods don't give a 30% power boost to the Fury? Now I'm confused. Is it just my imagination that AF melts things faster than I can BE them now, and Throw does too?

They provide a 30% additive bonus, yes. But

a) it's additive, as I said, which results in the bonus being much less than 30% overall. More like 15-20%.

B) Something like 80% of the damage a Fury does come from BEs, and another good 10-15% from his weapon. Maybe a bit more from the weapon. Whatever. The point is, the powers themselves do just a little fractiong of the work. To invest a mod slot to increase their effectiveness by a couple of % points is, quite frankly, a waste. You're much better off enhancing your weapon for good.

So... Whenever you stand in front of two platinum ravagers who just locked onto you and are firing on you, with no cyclonics and 3 fitness, and they happen to fire at least twice each - you only get shieldgated?

Cause here everyone dies from that, I assure you ;)

I'm not a pro in this game by any stretch of the imagination, nor am I completely aware of every mechanic aspect of this game, but it feels like enemies has a 1 second lag in this game. I guess, Cerberus is playing from Australia or something. I don't know if it's a result of low FPS + Adrenaline Mode 3, but I never had a single occasion when Pyro missed at a point blank like at 12.51 or 12.55, for example. Also, I've played as a Drell with AM3 and 20% Movement Speed bonus a LOT and I never was able do dodge Warp Ball by simply side walking like at 16.57 - 16.59. But then again, maybe this solo is legit as hell and we are simply imagining things.

The only way of avoid atlas' rockets is having a wall next to you.

and sometimes even that doesn't work.

You can run directly perpendicular to the rocket and avoid them, but you can't sidestep them.

I think AI and targeting system in this game really depends on FPS. Because side stepping and avoiding Phantom's fire happens all the time for me if I'm playing as a Drell with AM3. But when  talking about Scions, Ravagers and Atlases, things getting really weird.  If I'm the host I can avoid the first shot from those nice fellas, but every next one will hit me with 100% chance.

Right, I get that, and the power mags don't necc. increase BEs, but on a caster like Fury, Hurricane w/ power mag + HVB and Acolyte w/ power mag + HCB gives a good balance of weapon damage(+ piercing in Hurricane's case) and a nice little power damage boost, (edit - and with a good cooldown) IMO. Don't feel like I'm losing out/ wasting anything there.

Haha I'll accept that (had to track back bc every time I started at your link a ^&$$#@ ad popped up just as the ravengers [intentional sp!] started shooting, blocking my view of barriers and health). My first assumption was bonus from AF drain having kicked in just before, dodge with Adrenaline mod and low FPS. But I'm just another hacker (should be obvious from my manifest... not!) :P
