Krogan Battlemaster with a Black Widow and Raider, no ULM on either. Saw him BC a few times but not often.

Tbh I prefer a shadow with a javelin over a shadow that is using ss to get herself killed on the other side of the map. Also, flamer and ES works nicely together, so there is that.

There you go. Max grenades, max Fitness, a few points in Stasis.

I reckon having 2 extra grenades per Thermal Clip that do 270 more damage in ~70% more AoE is well worth sacrificing 2.4s Stasis duration and 61.68 damage per shot.

Without Bubble, Stasis is not worth using on anything except Phantoms.

AV can already stagger Phantoms ad infinitum with Bonus Power Charge + Lift Grenades.

Fact: anything on any diffuculty that can be frozen with stasis can be killed with at most 2 lift grenades.
And considering that lift grenades have an AoE of 200 square meters when speced for max radius...

Heh - I still do this - just because I can (and it's the only kit on which I'll actually use up some of the gazillion Targetting VIs I've got).

Though I snipe with a Saber and use Warfighter gear for more grenades.

That one I really don't understand ... why use a Shadow at all in that case? GI, SI and QFI are all better with the Javelin. Kinda the whole point of the Shadow is to strap on a Wraith or a Raider with an Omni-Blade and murderise everything.

Everything you've stated is actually perfectly acceptable.

I've always played the asari vanguard as a soldier (thanks to the vanguard glitch). Harrier/Saber plus extra 'nades in the gear slot = fun and profit!

I remember when MP was still new; everyone was criticising casters for using weapons and asari for using their stasis-sniping. This is no longer a problem. At the end of the day; just do what feels right.

However, I will say that there are still some caster classes who really should stick to what they do best. Novaguards, for example, really should stick to their powers rather than heavy-duty shooting.

I find that most characters are as versatile as you make them - this depends largely on the confidence and skill of the player playing them.

Juggies can melee all day if they want to - there's nothing wrong with that. In fact it's useful for taking heat off other team-mates - never underestimate that.

The problem people have is that they think there is only one type of, for example, Shadow - the one that shadow-strikes all the time and needs a light weapon. But there are others that can make that class with its powers just as effective with sniper rifles if they want to.

I honestly can't think of anything that makes me slam my face against a desk during these modern times (over a year-on from the original game).

Just let people get on with their thing. Sometimes people will be experimenting, so you'll need to accept that.

Stasis is on a pretty low cooldown now. There are times where you don't want to Charge, and it's not really worth expending a grenade. In those cases, you can just use Stasis. You can also use it to prime a target before Charging.

There's more than just Phantoms. There's also Engineers, Marauders, Collector Captains and Possessed Abominations.

Really, having the option to use Stasis is just worth so much more than a measily ~60 damage on a weapon that's already doing >1000 damage...

Last time I took a Juggy into platinum I did top the scoreboard with 3 Infiltrators on the team, yup PuG - if you're playing as an Infil on Platinum and being outscored by a Juggy/Spitfire ... you're probably doing something wrong. Randoms are gonna be random.

I use the Carnifex on my Battlemaster.

I don't play Krogan but it just looks wrong as a primary weapon.
I guess I am used to seeing Krogan wielding claymore.

But if pistol only works, like Executioner or Talon, sure why not.

As for sniper rifles on Krogan, again what works ... Works.
But I tend to think of Krogan as CQC rather than sniping from afar.

Terrible loadouts: 
I joined a lobby (Reaper/Gold) with 3 biotic kits and each one was using Disruptor Ammo I.
I won't even mention the Fury with Harrier&Reegar anymore...


Terrible playstyle:
Joined a lobby (Reaper/Rio/Gold), the host was a Volus Protector with a Predator IX and Barrage Upgrade II or something like that. No consumables. There was a Drell Assassin in the lobby and I was playing my Fury, so I thought: Hey, even if the host is useless, the two of us can still win this without a problem.
The Volus was pestering us about the "Box Method", which was unfamiliar to me... and I really saw no reason for it since we finished the waves quickly without a problem. But since the Volus and another player kept hanging out at one end of the map, I moved over to them and have a look. They stood in a tiny box for the entire game, not contributing anything. The Volus had 20k score in the end. Oo

After the match he asked "Want to do it again?" and since I was busy in the store, changing kits to Geth Trooper (Flamer build) and equipping consumables, I didn't notice he changed to Platinum. The Drell Assassin must have left, to be replaced with a Juggernaut... and the 4th player switched to Juggernaut, too. I only realized this during the first wave, when they all moved into the box.
Now, I don't think using this method is necessary, but it might be good to know in case you need a safespot sometime. But the Juggernauts and the Volus didn't know that Juggernauts are immune to sync kills anyway.
So we're all crammed into the box. I'm stuck in a corner because there's a Juggernaut blocking me in. Both of them have the huge Hex Shield and both place it -inside- the box. Outside there are tons of mobs piling up... but I can only hit Juggernauts or the shields. It takes forever to kill anything and each time I remove the pesky shields with my Acolyte, they replace it.
I tried to explain that the Juggernauts need to move out, that their shields make the entire match freaking slow and that the Volus needs to shut up about "get in the box, get in the box, you'll get killed out there!"... but ME3 doesn't recognize me speaking even with Push to Talk active and the microphone set to 100%.
I pretty much spent the 30min until the inevitable wipe in wave 10 raging at 3 morons who didn't hear me. Btw... guess who had to do objectives on his own because the Juggernauts didn't leave the box? 

Seriously... until last night I didn't understand the hate for Puggernauts... now I do. When I play Juggernaut, I am soooooo much better and I'm not even "best of the best" .

I dont get the hate for asari vanguard stasis sniper......bubble stasis plus grenades maxed is all you need to be good for stasis sniping, Nades as panic button or cc......she is a better sniper than the adept imo
Also GPR is quite good if you know how to use it....for example HE OR GE specced for overload and drone/ Turret / HM can use incendiary ammo effectively.....especially the GE
For me the crazy loadouts are mismatched equipment and skipping key powers like nova, shieldboost, arcnades in a qme....etc
