I have definitely NOT let him die near the end of one of these fights on my SH/AW to keep the glory for myself...


Also, if you're a Wynn fan...have you put her with Oghren? Hysterical.

I haven't had an opportunity to take Oghren or Dog yet (in my first three games) for longer than the time required since I like to stick to a core group. However, of those that remain:

Interestingly enough, that was also my group in my first game. I wonder if that had any impact on my current opinion or if I took them because I liked them.... Hmm.

I do this myself. Happily it only adds to the replay value since I don't get to know some of the companions well at all and I can work on them with a second or third playthrough.

Leiliana said that it was wrong to get more attached to one party member over the others, since that could end up with me taking unnecessary risks.

I'm very intrigued by the background story of Sten, Shale and Zevran... but in my first playthrough (as a male warrior) I almost always take with me Leliana, Morrigan and Wynne.

On my first runs, I always go with the first characters I meet. So that would be Alistair Morrigan and Leliana. Oh I ditched Browny.

My main team consists of Alistair, Zevran, & Morrigan, although Zevran swaps out for various others occasionally(usually Shale or Sten) depending on the quest I'm doing at the time.

Shale would be at 2. but there are areas where she causes path-blocking like in the pearl. Love her backstory and subquest.

Alistair, Im really trying to "put up" with him in my current game but so far my opinion hasnt changed.

Dog - Really just party filler, present fetcher. Sidenote: how about a cat next time??

Morrigan - Shallow one way thinking causes party switch outs to avoid approval drops, unless its on my magi save who loves to inflict death when given the chance. Had she more "character" id stick her in 3.

Sten - No, warriors cant be women, means no Sten in party. He was a good friend to my male warden.

Zevran - Minus points for hitting on my male warden then disapproving of my answer. Plus points for his reaction to my female warden in dialogue.

Oghren - Dont like in your face comic relief characters(bad humour), i dont like Oghren.

Wynne - I like her especially when she admits to being wrong about some of her views, but find most of the creation line worthless.
Secret companion - Cant really say anything on this forum but hes good

Hm.....I have only just left Lothering, and only have 5 companions as of now but my favorites are:



1) Morrigan:

like strong women, although the fact that she gets angry at any sign of kindness makes little sense to me. She's supposed to be a survivor and pragmatist, not Stalin in a dress.



2) Leliani:

Because I have a tendancy to love slightly odd characters, and because I do have a 'saved' friend who has the same shoe obsession and so does my girlfriend... What can I say, its like hanging out with my RL friends, just with less violance and shoe shopping(thank goodness)!



3) Sten:

Because he is almost exactly like a Geography teacher i had in highschool who had served in the Vietnam war. Complete effiency with a kind od sadness that never quiet goes away.
