I have never made a party by NPCs. I made my parties by how the peices fit. I need a tank, Support Tank, DPS, and Support/DPS.



There is only one tank in the game unless you main is a tank and thats Allistair. The rest break down as such.



Support Tank: Sten, Ohgren, Shale



DPS; Leliana, Zevran, Dog.



Support/DPS: Morrigan, Wynne.



I do normally run an all Chantry/Warden party though. Allistair is my tank, Main character is my Support Tank. DPS is Leliana. And my Support DPS is Wynne. Thats normally a really good party.

They build my core group. In each run, though i promise myself to try different characters this time, but i always end up with those three. Love their banter, and properly skilled they make an awesome party

Morrigan is so clever and amusing..

I have my favorites, and then I have my group that I take out. As of now my favorites are Shale, Oghren, and Sten. The group I take out is Shale, Morrigan, and Wynne.

 For humour value i would say oygren (or however u spell it cbf cheacking) alistair  then morrigan. for having a similar disposition to my own wynne, leliana, alistair. however stat wise u cant go past shale him on hards as easy to use as tank as alistair on normal.

2) Wynne, but only for the sake of ease. Her preachiness grates on me at times, but when I don't feel like doing the healing myself, she's good to have around. She's in 95% of my groups I guess.

3) Tough call. I'll go with Leliana.

I used to love Morrigan and hate Leliana, but lately I've done a flip-flop on those two. I've grown to really love having Leliana as the girly-girl BFF in my group who I can talk about shoes and boys with. She's just so wholesome (ignoring that whole murdering spying sneaky temptress thing). But I still love the nasty cat-fights between Wynne and Morrigan. And Alistair and Morrigan. or I guess... anyone and Morrigan.


Ohgren gets an honorable mention because of his hi-larious drunken conversations at camp.

2)Wynne

3)3rd spot I rotate Shale, Leliana and Zevran, but Shale is my favourite for combat because of his versatility.

Haven't tried (or met) everybody yet, but enjoying the Alistair/Morrigan/Dog combination. Their interactions with each other are so funny.
