Way too squishy for melee. Shadow strike sucks. It's only good quality is that it can one hit phantoms when it's fully specced out. It's abilities don't compliment TC at hardly. Bleh.

Shadow strike does extreme damage, only infi person in the game who has a melee that can be specced for extra armor damage. Gets 50% damage boost after killing anything with melee, Epic mobility w/ SS and movement speed, ES for some range and good damage, and can unleash 2 shadow strikes with epic damage before uncloaking. Meaning she most likely can SS and GTFO if need be.

Really I think the QFI is the worst tbh...

~625 health/shields is pretty squishy for a melee class. Even with tactical damage boost spec'd for damage and melee damage, a krolord can do a better job at smashing everything to pieces.

She's like a bipolar infiltrator. She can melee things, but it's generally a better idea to shoot your gun instead :S

Agreed. And nothing to do with squishiness, her damage output just sucks.  Shadow Strike takes way too long. A good team will kill a whole spawn by the time your animation finishes.

Only half-decent spec is tech-burst spam with an aoe primer and electric slash. But that is still the worst infiltrator build, and in addition in a teammate troller.

That said, anything with Tactical Cloak is still at least decent.

she's the only infiltrator that has a 100% bonus to spooking pugs with pretend-phantoms.

I can't mathematically argue in favour of her DPS, but I think what she loses there isn't as bad as you make it out to be. But it's a different class, you like what she can do or you don't. I love her.

1. Melee decapitates. Very useful against Collectors.

2. One of the best tracking Heavy Melees in the game. Can use it to kill several enemies at once.

3. ES staggers up to three enemies, and works through walls.

4. Doesn't need to carry a sidearm for Phantoms.

5. Can combine speed, Tactical Cloak, and Shadow Strike to tactically move around the battlefield better than anyone.

6. Shield drain combines defense with huge offensive damage spike.

7. One the best survivalist/defensive characters in the game with TC, great dodge and speed.

8. She's a frickin' SEXY SPACE NINJA!

Besides the stupid TC deactivated faster than other Infiltrators shes a pretty neat character. Fast movement, hard hitting, strong melee and electric slash through wall.

She's not a fast killer but with SS and 3 ranks in ES plus a mid ranged weapon, she works. Worst to me is the human infiltrator. Poor synergy going for that class.

She's only bad in Platinum, really. Rather good for farming out phantoms and Dragoons.

What holds this kit back is that it triggers boss unit detection when she SS into them. You basically have to range banshees or only shadowstrike while they're teleporting, otherwise you get a scream to the face.

So, good with infantry, crap boss killer. And in that spirit she's just a lesser Slayer, because the Slayer is a much better infantry killer than the Shadow, and he fares better against all boss units except praetorians.

Shadow is not easy to use, anybody good enough to do so would do so much better with other kits. But if you find the shadow fun, go for it.

Shadow TC doesn't deactivate faster than for other infiltrators, all the damage wiindows/refreshes are the same. It's just a cosmetic difference.

Arguably one of the weaker Infiltrators in terms of overall damage output, I'll give you that.

Still one of my favourite kits, because Space Ninja.
Also: Flaming sword. Reversing the roles on Phantoms. Duration cloak, so reviving squadmates and doing the 1-2-3-4 hacks becomes a breeze. Flaming sword! Heavy melee that tracks and decapitates multiple enemies. Acrobatics. Oh and did I mention you get to wield a fricking FLAMING SWORD?

Yeah, albeit obvious weaknesses, this kit is just tons of fun to play.
Only Ravagers can ruin your party hard. But everything else gets the sword.

I usually break it out when I see someone else using it. Since everyone tends to slash spam, I SS spam and mess **** up before the slash wave even arrives. Only sucks when I get over confident and try to SS a banshee...

her powers except TC suck
so if not for fun then why play her when you have a human infiltrator

the slash is good for mooks and that's about it.., isn't of much help on platinum, and screen shake..
shadow strike... enemies see it coming better than the krolord running at them and it's just too ... wayyyyyyyyyyyy too slow
