It has its uses, but it is not the best ammo type. For example, Warp ammo gives the most DPS on a Claymore Huntress, cryo ammo is excellent for a Talon Vorcha hunter, incendiary ammo is great with vanguards (fire explosions) etc. In fact, I don't think there is any best ammo type for all classes. Incendiary ammo does serve the purpose of using when you don't know what to use, but it isn't the best either.

This ammo is definitely in the top three with warp and incendiary it works wonders on vanguards but I cannot say that its the best.

For me it's between inferno, warp and armor piercing....i actually find that warp ammo 4 does a tremendous amount of damage even when i take my phaeston on gold runs...it's also a beast on the typhoon and other high end guns, but when i use the typhoon, i usually go with AP4 ammo.

For my gold runs i usually roll with warp 4 or AP 4 ammo since alot of the bosses and mini bosses have high armor protection...every now and then i'll do inferno 4 ammo for explosions ( i use vanguards alot) but i usually use cryo and disrupter ammo for my silver runs...bioware needs to delete explosive ammo from the data base...who even uses that ammo?

I had over 230 Disruptor rounds IV before I started liking them, now I have 190+. They shine on weapons that already deal good with armour and if you can spam detonator power. I wouldn't say there is 1 best, because it depends on what kit and weapon you are using.

Disruptor rounds are my go to rounds for mass AOE weapons.
Unless it's reapers or collectors.

Bleh, I'd take Disruptor over both. Incendiary is good, but only great when you cheese it. And AP ammo, yeah, I have 200+ level IV's I believe.

They all have their purposes though, except Cryo IV, biower can take all 255 of mine for all I care.

I have recently seen the light on Disruptor, but I still like Warp better.

I love Disruptor Ammo. Especially on kits like the FQE, BatSent, and almost all Vanguards.

Warp Ammo IV my closest level IVs to running out, at like 17. Second lowest is Incendiary at like 130.

maybe we just play too differently.

Who needs incendiary when you have AC 5 and a harrier GI?

when i run out of amps for the gi combo.
also people are easily offended by ac5. not so much by inc

Really depends on the kit that you're using.

Someone who can detonate TBs quickly? Disruptor ammo

Kits using the Venom? Incendiary ammo

One-shot snipers? Phasic ammo

Multiple-shot snipers? AP ammo

Biotics? Warp ammo
