Recently got back into campaign after playing a TON of multiplayer (400+ hours). After testing out a few classes (sentinel mainly), I went back to my engineer build and quickly realized that the multiplayer changes to tech explosions (fire and cryo do not required a kill to detonate) were updated to single player. Kinda makes me bummed that a lot of the other balances weren't carried over (combat drone and incinerate do half the damage they do in multiplayer).

Quick question actually, does anyone know if the 6th evolution of incinerate (double damage to frozen/chilled targets) is still broken in single player? It was broken in multiplayer for a while, not sure if it was a problem in single player.

Anways, I was running chain overload with inferno grenades as a bonus power and the 2 meter radius incinerate. Three consecutive fire explosions have a habit of clearing out a room.

Discovered sabotage's tech vulnerability as well. Combined with the new tech explosions (and the occasional cryo blast on armored targets) it's absolutely deadly. The engineer is not to be underestimated.

I use Ashley for extra inferno grenades, quick power detonation with concussive shot, and disrupter ammo to prime some tech burst here and there. I put in Edi to contribute to the madness with some heavy hitting overloads and incinerates. Not to mention the ever useful decoy.

Things get pretty crazy. :)

Hahaha, hi Mermaid!

I figured you've been busy with other players, but my internet is down for the time being (which explains my new-found interest in single player), but I'll be back on multiplayer sometime next week. :)

I look forward to playing with you again!

I think the patch change should have fixed the evolution in SP as well, AFAIK.
