I have only one more achievement to go to finish up all of the DLC and that's fighting your clones in all the classes. I have gotten up to round 3 but most of the time I just die painfully long before that. I am using my level 60 adept and have even tried it with all the modifiers pluses for me and still die. This is the Shep I just used for finishing my Insanity run and I can't even beat it on normal, wtf.

So any advice is greatly appreciated. Is it easier if I use a different class? Or maybe not be a level 60? Or best crew members to use in it? Or anything else I am not thinking of right now? I only have 2 achievements left to complete all of ME3 and this is not the one that should be giving me so trouble I would of thought but good grief.

The first time I did the mirror match, I was also using an adept and it took me roughly 10 tries to kill them all. Just keep a determinator attitude and you can get through it alive.

I found Kaidan/ Miranda or Kaidan/ Kasumi to be a compatible squad for a biotic Shepard in the Arena. If you prioritize the vanguards it should make the mirror match slightly easier. Those were the ones who got me. I had to turn down the difficulty too from insanity to beat this mode.

I am NOT an avid gamer (picked up ME1 after ME3 was released and it was the first shooter I ever played at the age of 40), so I frequently pause and look around by bringing up the power wheel.  I beat the mirror match on my first attempt with Engineer, Miranda, and Kaiden at Normal difficulty (only level I play at).

I'm willing to bet that you're not the same kind of player as me and hardly ever do this because you feel it's "cheating" or "noobish" to use the power wheel instead of hotkey mapping. Since the AI keeps all of those enemy Shepards moving and actively flanking, just pausing the action like that may be all you need to finish them off.

really? I am surprised it would work, I was thinking it would be on the line of Insanity and changing anything would not work, but thanks, I will try it.

Actually, I am like you, lol. My 1 st shooter game was ME2 and I loved it, so I went and got ME1 as well waiting for ME3 to come out. I have only been playing on xbox for 2 yrs and only then because my kids were harassing me to play ( I am going to be 42 soon). Only other shooter game I tried was Halo and the 1st person thing hurts my eyes, so ME games are it for me as shooters go. I bring up the wheel too, especially with my adept since I use biotics a lot and use a lot of biotic combo's with my team.

Nice to know I am not the only 40+ ME fan LOL ;)

Try it with an infiltrator. She spams "Cloak" and has no cool-down.

40+ you're a kid. Granny here.

I can confirm that it works.
I did it on normal before I heard of it, so if you're trying to get it lefit I recommend playing the map Wingman (I always used Wrex and Garrus as squaddies), equipped with the M-7 Lancer.
Upon starting the match turn left and get to the very far corner, position yourself at the farthest object and your squaddies just before you.
From here you can pick off your enemies from quite a distance, however you have to avoid getting hit by powers nevertheless.

Use the Suppressor V

Have one tanky member(grunt) and one power specialist.

Target a clone with a power, and headshot the **** out of her when she's stunned and she'll go down in 3-4 rapid shots.

This is even easier to do if you are an Infiltrator with the huge bonus weapon damage.

My Soldier got through it first try, but it was tough. I don't remember who my squadmates were, but I would recommend ones with Overload and grenades. Sometimes, you're going to be caught with no place to run and nothing's worse than all your squadmates' powers being on cooldown. Grenades are always available.

As a soldier, I love my incendiary ammo plus concussive shot that almost instantly cools down. Work the tech bursts/biotic detonations.

Well in that case, it may be more important to have the right team with you.  I'd certainly recommend Miranda and/or Kaidan for Overload and Warp/Reave so that you have a shield stripper available as often as possible to set up those combos.  Another suggested teamate would be Samara who can be used to spam Throw at your much faster recharging Warps.

I will admit though, that Adept seems to be one of the harder classes to do the Mirror Match (and Citadel DLC in general) with just because of the pervasiveness of shields.

Kill Brooks (very easy as she does not have Armor). The Clone will always try to go to revive her. Then kill the Clone while she/he is sitting still while reviving Brooks. Repeat.

The OP is referring to the Mirror Match mode inthe Armax Arsenal Arena, not the Shepard clone boss battle.

Oh that.

Pick a large map. I prefer the Armax classic - AI enemies are easily confused by the rotating billboard in the middle.

Pick high DPS teammates, such as Javik, Zaeed, Garrus. The enemies will focus on Shepard. Spread them out so they don't both die at the same time.

Stay in cover as much as possible. If not (playing Vanguard?), keep dodge rolling. Your main cause of death will be from an unstopping hail of Warp & Incinerate that staggers you.

Kill the enemies who are using the Hurricane (Engineers and Adepts) first. They do more damage with their weapons than the others, and they throw Warp/Incinerate with almost no cooldown, and they are easier to kill than the other enemies.

The Vanguard clone never Charged me once in like 4 matches. I think it's because the Charge triggers only when he's close enough to you and have LOS on you.

I had problems because the Vanguards would just destroy me when they found me and everything else just constantly staggered me. I solved it by taking a Scorpion pistol into the match and staggering them for a change. It still involved a lot of running and using cover, but the Scorpion really dropped the difficulty down a notch for me.

I did it with my Sentinel on Hardcore and it took me a few tries to get it done. I brought Wrex and Grunt and had them rocking the Claymore (I was too). I would strip the shields of the Clones and start sicking Grunt and Wrex on them. I did it on Paintrain and found that if I put myself somewhere with only one point of entry (there are a few spots like that on Paintrain), then I would minimize the risk of being flanked.

The Vanguards were the ones that gave me the most problems though the Sentinels were tricky as well (why the hell does the Sentinel clone have Incinerate AND Warp??? Well, at least they don't use Overload).

The Infiltrators were annoying because they continued to spam Tac Cloak. The best way to deal with them is to throw a few grenades where you think they are and, if you guessed the right spot, you'll get them.

The Engineers and Adepts are tricky because of the damn Hurricane. Don't let the Adepts get too close because they WILL melee you, as will the Engineers (those two type always try to get close to me). Spam grenades, powers, and the occasional melee on them until they die.

The only problem I had with the Soldiers was their Carnage. Other than that, they are relatively easy to kill.
