He is a terrible actor that in most cases butchers the role that was given to him..
Well, Except "Top Gun", Top Gun was pretty good...

says it's a bad movie so I'll probably not watch it. Given the former, however, I think that that's how ME3 should have ended
I don't always agree with his opinion, but when he spoiled the movie I had guessed most of it from just watching the 2min trailer for the movie.
The problem is that "looking back" and thinking this is how something else should have ended is a double edged sword for that premise works for the movie, but might not for what you are comparing it too. Its like how I feel about Dark Knight Rises, if it wasn't a Batman movie I don't think the ending would have annoyed me so much because I have an image of how Batman operates and the ending to the movie wasn't anything like the mythos I had created and interpreted from all the other versions of Batman I have read and watched over the years.

Truth of the matter is ME is bottom of the barrel when it comes to sci-fi simply it started out so promising and tackled so many interesting concepts, only to then prove that the writers had no idea what they were doing at all. How many trilogies do you know where the second installment is the highlight of the series and the third just takes a complete dump over everything?
Well maybe Terminator. But even T3 cannot be compared to ME3.

You have to see beyond who he is as a person. Maybe Tom Cruise himself isn't to your liking, but you owe it to yourself to watch any of the following movies: Magnolia, Collateral or Vanilla Sky. If you still feel he's a terrible actor, your prejudice is getting in the way of great movie experiences and that's a shame.

Let's keep this discussion ME3 related, please.
We are. We're merely interspersing the ideas of Mass Effect with one of the other most famous RPG series around. Unless there's some embargo (I really don't know if there is, in which case, I apologize) on mentioning other series in the same topic.

Sean Bean should smash the Amulet of Kings and banish the reapers to oblivion?
Yes.
Where's the "like" button?
