I've been thinking about this...say your comapanions are using too many potions on auto. Could you say...

if self mana <10%  switch to custom 2

if self health <25% use potion

if self health >25% switch to custom 1

It seems to me this would use up one of your custom slots but it would make the condition that your companion would only drink a healing potion if they did not have the mana to self heal.

Has anyone tried something like this

It seems like it would be really nice if you COULD say:

if Slot 1 = TRUE.........goto Slot 2
if Slot 2 = TRUE.........perform action

Any insights?

Strictly speaking you can say that you just cannot avoid saying 'if slot 1 = false and slot 2 = true then perform action' at the same time. One thing you could do would be to say:

1 if self mana > 10% got to 3

2 if self health < 25% use potion

3 if self helth < 25 % self heal

ect

Theoretically tactics are checked in order so as long as mana was over 10% line 2 would always be skipped. You may run the risk of not having enough mana to self heal but enough not to trigger the potion i.e. between 10% and the minimum mana to cast the self heal.

If you define a condition without defining the action does it goto the next slot? or doest it ignor the first slot alltogether because it is unfinished?

I think if you leave the action undefined it just skips it.

How are you getting it to change from one tactics set to another? The only 'jump to' function I have on the PC is to another line in the same custom tactic, not to jump between sets of custom tactics.

I know I saw this but now I can't find it anymore.....Maybe I'm just loosing my mind. I could have sworn I saw it near the 'switch to melee mode' action. It seams like your stuck to play 1 custom tactics set at a time. Shame though.....you could get really creative with an option like that.

I just used two conditions like this:

Self mana <10% Jump to 11

Ally health <50% use lyrium potion

It seemed to work. I don't think you can switch between tactic setups like you're saying.
