I whould rather it remains consistant than switch between looking amazing to looking like ass
Where in that shot from?
Mass Effect 3 is such a joy to look at.

I never said ME3 was the best looking game of all time. Simply that, compared to the other two games, it's a lot more detailed and vibrant looking.
It is more detailed in certain aspects, you're right, but then you're wrong to say that the overall package is more detailed compared to 1 and 2, where there are hilarious examples of proving this the opposite.
Just because there are examples where ME3 is not detailed doesn't make it wrong.
ME3 is more detailed despite these examples.
How does this at all disprove our counter what he said?

Not this big at this angle. I can't count the number of times I've played through this intro, and I noticed those pixelated dudes a grand total of once when I saw a post about it on this forum and went looking for them. I've always missed them since. The notion that this would be the example that shows that Mass Effect 3 is less detailed that the other sequels is just complete nonesense.wiggles89 wrote...

Can't wait to see how ME4 will look. With a new generation of hardware to play with it should look magnificent!
No more technical limitations holding back the artists imagination. Well, not as much at least. I'm at least sure the sprites won't return

I mean, me1 could have some good looking scenery...depending on if you got to the exact right spot, and angled the camrea at the exact correct angle.
Otherwise, all you'll see is

And of course the mako in it's natural state.

It's a completely insane and unfair comparison, but Crysis came out the same year as ME1.

But of course. Show how the people picking at ME3 is wrong by using their same tactics on ME1.
I find it's a good way of making a point.
