This is something that interests me, but I can't seem to find anything detailed about it in any of the tutorials. Does anyone have a link to something that outlines the specifics of using images in a conversation - both stock images and custom?
a guide for using images in conversations?

just scroll through the conversation parameters - they are in a tab in the conv editor.
In there you will see a field called TGA
All you need to do is have a TGA image in your override or hak and reference the image.tga in the TGA field.
Thats it afaik - ive done it and it was really quite simple.
Essentially every node could have a different tga in it - with the right tweaking it could cycle through several - like a slide show.

yea its really simple,
.Tga resizes too. I used a little black.Tga and .. everything goes black ( black as night )
solid_black_fill.tga - 16kb
I also tried 'ico_black_dragon' and when PartyChat was flagged in dialog properties, the SoZ party dialog appeared with that icon instead of the usual speaker graphic up in the corner,
