For those that didn't have that disbelief raw hurt pain rage bafflement rage emotional rollercoaster upon the ending... don't comment. Please.
If I could get over it... you can too.

If you guys are still this depressed about the endings, I'd hate to see how you deal with the death of a loved one.
I think this is what made it so significantly worse for me. I WAS dealing with personal RL grief. ME3 was an outlet for me and I wasn't ready or expecting for my "time away from reality" to cause me additional pain.
I played ME to escape life... not have to deal with RL emotions.
Can you understand?

It saves people the trouble of having to create a new one with the same title. New players are still finishing and getting depressed.
Maybe that just shows how bad we've become at dealing with our emotions. I just finished ME3 the first time last week and I actually really like ME3. I will say though that it pays to study the wikia before because the one down side to the way ME games work is that you really need to start working on the ending you want from the start.
Yeah, it's a bit easier with the EC out. I'm a musician/composer type and I go through these high/low periods if you know what I mean, and was on the way down when the original ending hit. It was a coincidence. That was not fun. Three months earlier I would have laughed at its absolute stupidity. I'm so way over it now. I've done so many parodies of it.
I bought the Citadel DLC and fired up the game and loaded that save.... my Shepard runs toward the exploding tube, takes her gasp. Then I do my Warner Bros (close my eyes "Several Months Later") and go to the Citadel for the Party! I've bought Omega (600 MS points), and replayed the game. The ending? Pfffft. Who cares. I've got the EC. I just keep the conversation high level to get it over with because I know it's just a push a button ending.
On to the Elder Scrolls multi-pack for the PC with my maxed out graphics.
So I'm way over it, but I hope we never see anything like it again.

It's the possibility that we will see others like it, and the liklihood that this ending will continue to haunt future games, that I'm not over.

Just remember this feeling when the next ME game is announced, and ask yourself, and ask Bioware why you should get invested again
You shouldn't and I hope you don't.
I'd rahter not listen to you whine for another year when you inevitably don't like it.

It's a video game. Deal with it.
If it's just a video game, why do you care about what other people think of it?
I don't like the ending, and I've moved on, but that doesn't mean others have.
Just because you like the ending, it doesn't make you special. In fact it makes my opinion of you slightly lower than it already was a few seconds ago

Just saying, save us both the headache.
Next time you don't like one of their games just walk away, you'll probably be happier for it

Maybe if they wouldnt screw their consumers over with a terrible ending that goes against the lore and characters, and not falsly advertise their game, then people wouldnt bitch about it.
Ive had it with dumbasses like you

And I've had it with the tired overused diatribes you guys have spewed on a daily basis for the last year and a half.
It is getting old. Get over it already, move on and don't come back.

My question is...why play a video game if you're not going to get invested in it? It's a lot more fun if you actually care about what's going on than if you're just a passive observer. Unfortunately it also sets you up for disappointment if things go against what you want, but such is life.

Don't tell me what to do either buddy, you don't own these forums, and you have no right to tell people what to do because of their opinion on something. Everyone has the right to discuss what they wish.
You're all upset because someone doesn't like something your beloved company made? DEAL WITH IT.
Every one has an opinion and they're free to express it. You're not a moderator. Stop trying to be one.

So if DA:I fails on some level, will you stick around and moan on the forums or just move on with your life like a normal person?
If I seem insenstive, it's only because I'm baffled that people are still stuck in the past.

No I'm upset because people like you killed meanngful discussion on this forum for a year. We never truly discuss things about the lore or characters anymore, it is always just people with the inability to move on complaining with the same tired arguments over and over and over again.
I don't give two ****s if you liked the game or not.

I've seen plenty of discussion being brought up about characters. and alot of discussions other than those about the endings. It's either you're blind, stupid, or trying to make a pointless argument.
I'm going with all three.

You clearly weren't here a year ago. Every thread, no matter what it was about, would devolve into people slamming this game and fighting.
Also stop with the personal jibes. I have not personally attacked your intelligence and would prefer if you would give me the same courtesy.

This is not how you "win" internet forum arguments
(EDIT: forgot some kind of important quotations)
