Depressed after Mass Effect 3 ending... Anyone else?

Becuse some people actually went the extra mile to communicate constructively and host community projects to show Bioware why we needed a new ending. 

Bioware even said they stopped reading the forum a month after ME3's release because it was too negative here and no useful criticism could be gained. They got their feedback elsewhere, not from the whine babies on the forum.

I am not crying. I am simply pointing out your emotionally charged state. It is rather distressing. 

I can also assure you I'm quite rational. 

But it is odd, I was under the impression from that Ashley thread that you are Christian no? Doesn't your religion preach love and tolerance? You seem to be lacking in this regard.

Maybe you should work on your own personal failings before attempting to comment on mine.

Yeah, but the constant bashing is getting redundant. Some of them are even bashing anything that BioWare is making, like Dragon Age: Inquisition and spit on Citadel DLC or even the next Mass Effect game, etc... I'm not satisfied with the EC DLC, though the Citadel DLC gave me some opportunity to say goodbye to those characters I cherished. There were two reasons I joined that page: the Endings and Shepard's changes.

The Shepard I played in ME1 & ME2 felt way different than ME3's one, like they're two different characters. In fact, I couldn't recognize my own character in the third game and it upset me. It felt like I wasted hours over nothing. I felt like I lost control of my role playing character.

I'm over the endings, but I wish BioWare won't repeat this mess again and again, or else they will lose a lof ot people again for their next games. I lost faith in them before, but Citadel DLC filled a hole in me and Inquisition looks promising.


I think they are just being critical there boss. If a producer does not deliver a quality product which does not deliver their promises twice in a row then they should be subjected to scrutiny. It would be foolish for me to just buy anything that the company produces(Almost like 3 quarters of apple fans but that is another story). If you have the money to throw out then sure but if you are the type of person that wants to value a product there should be some monetary risk management there. With that being said, it depends on how bioware is criticized. A bashful criticism with no critic at all should not be even acknowlegded. A criticism with logical points and analysis on what bioware should have done is one to look at. Just because you have produced a few quality products in the past it does not make you free from being under the microscrope.

If I seem insenstive, it's only because I'm baffled that people are still stuck in the past. 


I'm not emotionally invested in Dragon Age. I actually liked DA:2, fwiw, and the major flaw of that game was the reused caves and dungeons. I thought the Arishok was an arrogant ass who turned into a murderer over a stupid book, and I enjoyed killing him. The only good Qunari is a dead Qunari. I loved the way Anders blew up the Chantry. Oh, most of my TES and DA characters were sociopaths. Morrigan forever! And I ended up romancing Zevran, and Isabella. Moi play a paragon in DA? Ha!
